✨️ 4 февраля Посол России в Пакистане А.П.Хорев принял участие в семинаре «25 лет Шанхайской организации сотрудничества (ШОС): на пути к справедливому глобальному управлению, устойчивому развитию на благо каждого и многостороннему сотрудничеству», состоявшемся на базе исламабадского Национального университета науки и технологий (НУСТ).
❗️Посол России отметил, что за 25 лет своего существования #ШОС прочно утвердилась в качестве авторитетной международной организации, вносящей активный вклад в формирование многополярного мироустройства, подчеркнув, что поступательное укрепление ШОС, повышение ее роли в международных делах являются неизменными приоритетами российской внешней политики.
А.П.Хорев акцентировал внимание на растущем совокупном потенциале ШОС, что позволяет рассматривать ее в качестве надежной опоры для становления в Евразии системы равной и неделимой безопасности.
В торгово-экономической и социальной сферах Посол отметил многообещающие перспективы сопряжения потенциалов ШОС и Евразийского экономического союза (ЕАЭС). Было подчеркнуто, что установление дипломатических отношений между Пакистаном и Арменией в августе 2025 г. открыло возможности для возможного подписания соглашения о зоне свободной торговли между ИРП и #ЕАЭС.
Посол России подробно проинформировал слушателей о шосовских мероприятиях торгово-экономической, социальной и спортивной направленности, прошедших в 2025 г. в России в рамках председательства нашей страны в Совете глав правительств ШОС. Отмечен прогресс, достигнутый членами ШОС в сферах финансов и инвестиций, высоких технологий, цифровой экономики, энергетики, развитии малого и среднего предпринимательства. Высокую оценку получили усилия стран ШОС по переходу на взаимные расчеты в национальных валютах.
А.П.Хорев поблагодарил партнеров по ШОС за поддержку российской инициативы о принятии специального тематического заявления, в котором лидеры государств-членов организации воздали дань уважения подвигу миролюбивых народов в ходе Второй мировой войны, подтвердили непреходящее значение разгрома фашизма, нацизма и милитаризма, а также приверженность наших стран миру и спокойствию на земле.
Особое внимание было уделено конструктивной роли ШОС в контексте международных конфликтов, включая ситуацию в Секторе Газа, Иране и Афганистане. Подробно изложены российские подходы по урегулированию кризиса на Украине. Отмечено взаимодействие ШОС с другими международными и региональными организациями, включая #ООН, #СНГ и #ОДКБ.
В завершении Посол России А.П.Хорев заверил партнеров в готовности России продолжать комплексную работу по дальнейшей консолидации ШОС в период председательства Киргизии в организации в 2026 г.

Khorev participated in a seminar titled "25 Years of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization: Towards Fair Global Governance, Shared Sustainable Development, and Multilateral Cooperation," which was held at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad.
❗️The Russian Ambassador noted that, in its 25 years of existence, the #SCO has firmly established itself as an influential international organization that actively contributes to the formation of a multipolar world order. He emphasized that Russian foreign policy consistently prioritizes steadily strengthening the SCO and enhancing its role in international affairs.
Albert P. Khorev emphasized the SCO's growing collective potential, allowing it to be viewed as a reliable foundation for establishing a system of equal and indivisible security in Eurasia.
The Ambassador noted the promising prospects for combining the potential of the SCO and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the trade, economic, and social spheres. He emphasized that establishing diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Armenia in August 2025 paved the way for a potential free trade agreement between Pakistan and the #EAEU.

He noted the progress that SCO members have achieved in finance, investment, high technology, the digital economy, energy, and developing small and medium-sized enterprises. He praised the SCO countries' efforts to transition to mutual settlements in national currencies.

Khorev thanked the SCO partners for supporting Russia's initiative to adopt a special thematic statement in which the leaders of the organization's member states honored the heroic actions of peace-loving peoples during World War II. The statement also reaffirmed the lasting importance of defeating fascism and militarism and confirmed the commitment of our countries to peace and tranquility.
He also emphasized the SCO's constructive role in addressing international conflicts, including those in Gaza, Iran, and Afghanistan. The Ambassador outlined Russia's approach to resolving the crisis in Ukraine. He discussed the SCO's collaboration with other international and regional organizations, such as the #UN, the #CIS, and the #CSTO.
In conclusion, the Ambassador assured the partners that Russia is committed to supporting Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in strengthening the SCO in 2026.

✨️ On February 8, the Embassy of Russia in Pakistan hosted a tournament of the Russian folk game "gorodki". The event was timed to coincide with the upcoming celebration of Russian Diplomats' Day. Ambassadors, diplomats, and employees of the diplomatic missions of Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan attended the event.
🏆 In a fierce competition, team Belarus won the first prize, team Tajikistan came in second place and Kyrgyzstan came in third.
❗️In his opening speech, Ambassador Albert P. Khorev highlighted key milestones in the development of Russian diplomacy, focusing on its most prominent representatives, including Karl Nesselrode, Alexander Gorchakov, Grigory Chicherin, Viacheslav Molotov, Andrey Gromyko, Yevgeny Primakov, and Sergey Lavrov. The Russian Ambassador also noted the growing importance of the diplomatic profession in the context of current geopolitical tensions and congratulated Russian diplomatic missions employees on their professional holiday.
The event was attended by the Dean of the diplomatic corps, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov, who noted the historical commonality of the countries represented at the tournament and joined the Russian Ambassador in congratulating Russian diplomats.
