On the anniversary of the Declaration of Ukraine’s independence
🔷 On August 24, 2024, Kiev celebrated a state holiday – the #Independence Day of Ukraine.
The Kiev regime keeps trying to boast about its supposed “victories”, successful banderization and forced ukrainianization. It is the geopolitical and mercantile interests of the West that in fact stand behind its “support”
of Ukraine, while this country is assigned the role of a “puppet” and “cannon fodder”.
🔷 The representatives of Zelensky's junta hardly dare to publicly discuss the violation of the provisions adopted in July 1990.
🔷 The heirs of Goebbels do not mention the real losses of the country and the missed opportunities during 33 years of “independence”, total depopulation and loss of whole industries. Kiev got into complete dependence on financial and material submits of the West, for which future generations of Ukrainians will have to pay.

🎙 President of Russia Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 9th Eastern Economic Forum (August 27, 2024)
💬 It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the 9th Eastern Economic Forum.
Over the years, the Forum has contributed significantly to the development of constructive economic ties between our country and other states in the Asia-Pacific region. A direct, informal communication that occurs here between Russian entrepreneurs and their foreign counterparts, government agencies, social organisations, and the expert community makes it possible for us to discuss many topical issues on the regional agenda and develop beneficial projects together, a fact reflected in the forum’s slogan this year, ‘Far East 2030. Combining Strengths to Create New Potential’.
The influence of the Asia-Pacific region in international affairs is growing fast. New opportunities for productive cooperation are opening up here, including within such authoritative multilateral structures as the Eurasian Economic Community, the #SCO, and #BRICS. I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate that Russia is open to dialogue with all interested partners in the Asia-Pacific region and is determined to actively interact with others to build a fairer, more democratic system of international relations based on genuine equality, with no place for dictate, strong-arm tactics or sanctions pressure.
🤝 The Forum participants are to discuss new promising forms of cooperation in various areas, from transport, energy and infrastructure to ecology and tourism. I trust you will enjoy constructive, informative discussions while your proposals and initiatives will be in demand on a practical level.
I wish you every success and all the best.

@RusEmbMalta PRESS RELEASE
⚡Special issue
On 22nd August 2024, members of the Holy #Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church held a remote meeting to approve the text of the statement concerning the bill adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the aim of liquidating the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Key points:
🔷 For many years, the policy of persecution against the Church has been carried out against a backdrop of the slanderous anti-church campaign in the Ukrainian mass media aimed at defaming the #canonical Orthodoxy, as well as instigating and justifying mass seizures of churches.
🔷 Many archpastors and pastors of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church have been arrested, taken into custody or received unjust sentences;
🔷 The adopted bill is incompatible with the rule of law principles;
🔷 We appeal to international human rights organizations to give an immediate and unbiased response to the flagrant oppression of the faithful in Ukraine.

⚡️ Russia's Position at the Seventy-Ninth Session of the UN General Assembly
🇷🇺🇺🇳 Restoring the central and coordinating role of the Universal Organization in global affairs, which has been compromised as a result of Washington and its satellites' policies aimed at making the United Nations suit their agenda, is the main priority of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly. This task is enshrined in the Foreign Policy Concept of the Russian Federation.
The activities of the United Nations should primarily aim to shape a more just, democratic and sustainable multipolar world order building on the principles of the UN Charter in their entirety and interrelation, first of all the principle of sovereign equality of states.
Attempts by Westerners to promote their notorious concept of the "rules-based world order," which involves a revision of the decades-old international legal architecture, discreditation or arbitrary interpretation of the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and creation of alternative narrow decision-making formats bypassing the Universal Organization, must be strongly opposed.
We should resolutely combat the flawed neocolonial practices employed by the collective West to slow down the objective historical process of the emergence of a genuinely multipolar world order, and retain its fading dominance and continue to prey on the countries of the world majority.
👉 This includes illegal unilateral sanctions, unfair trade agreements, restricting access to new technologies, plundering the resources of sovereign states, and even direct military interventions. Such actions harm the most vulnerable communities in affected countries and further delay the prospect of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals.
Against this backdrop, the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations prepared a draft UN General Assembly resolution on "Eradication of colonialism in all its forms and manifestations." The main objectives of the document include declaring 14 December the Day of Struggle against Colonialism in all its forms and manifestations (to commemorate the date of the adoption of the UNGA Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples of 1960) as well as putting the relevant item on the General Assembly's agenda.
The initiative was approved by the General Assembly Special Committee on Decolonization (C‑24) in June 2024. We call on all constructively minded partners to support it in the UNGA Fourth Committee, which will take place in autumn 2024.

On the upcoming visit of the President Vladimir Putin to Mongolia
(September 3, 2024)
Ahead of his visit to #Mongolia, Vladimir #Putin gave a written interview to the Mongolian Onoodor Newspaper.
Key points:
🔷 The development of comprehensive and mutually beneficial partnership with Mongolia, our close neighbour and old friend, has always been and remains among the priorities of Russia’s foreign policy in #Eurasia.
🔷 The main reason for today’s tragic situation in #Ukraine is the deliberate anti-Russia policy pursued by the US-led collective West. Ukraine virtually turned into a bargaining chip that the West used to achieve its geopolitical ambitions.
🔷 In 2014, the Americans and their satellites organised an armed coup d'état in Ukraine. It was inspired and driven by radical neo-Nazi groups, which subsequently came to determine Kiev’s government policy in general.

🔸The Ulaanbaatar Railbus international joint-stock company remains a flagship project showcasing Russia-Mongolia economic cooperation.
🔸Over 90 percent of petrol and diesel used by Mongolia in 2023 was imported from Russia. The two countries also cooperate in the natural gas sector, and in the renovation of Ulaanbaatar’s Central Thermal Power Plant No.3.
🔸As part of their cultural cooperation, Russia and Mongolia regularly hold events celebrating each other's culture and Russian-Mongolian friendship days, undertake joint research and expeditions, and are now actively taking steps to develop mutual tourism and organise sports competitions.
🔸As per tradition, Russia continues training highly qualified personnel for Mongolia's economy: over 2,000 Mongolian students are currently enrolled at Russian universities.
🔸Russia intends to continue supporting the teaching of the Russian language in Mongolia, particularly in the border regions.
🔸Bilateral cooperation in military affairs and counterterrorism plays a vital role in ensuring security in Asia as a whole.

(Published in the "It-Torca" newspaper on September 1, 2024)

🔹Representatives of the Kiev regime and its Western sponsors have launched an unprecedented disinformation campaign, seeking to politicize the issue of child protection as much as possible and denigrate Russia;
🔹There have been numerous cases of disappearances of Ukrainian children "evacuated" by the Kiev regime abroad; facts of trafficking in Ukrainian children have been investigated in Lithuania;

🇷🇺🇲🇾 President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim met on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
💬 President Putin: Mr. Prime Minister, I would like to begin by thanking you for accepting our invitation to come here and attend the Eastern Economic Forum. Tomorrow, we will take part in its plenary session, and I am certain that this will be a useful event for discussing our objectives in bringing the regional economies closer together. In fact, we have many guests here from dozens of countries, which means that you will be able to engage in useful contacts not only with your Russian colleagues, but also with colleagues from other countries.
Of course, I do hope that we will have an opportunity to explore ways to expand our cooperation as part of these efforts. Today, trade between our countries amounts to about $3.5 billion, which can hardly be considered a satisfactory result for us considering the potential we have. In fact, there are many opportunities on both sides.
As you know, Russia pays considerable attention to developing its relations with Southeast Asia and ASEAN. Malaysia plays a prominent role in this association, and will be assuming the chairmanship of ASEAN next year. We sincerely hope that during your chairmanship, we will be able to explore new opportunities for cooperation with this rapidly growing and promising region.
🎊 To conclude my opening remarks, I would like to congratulate you and the Malaysian leadership, as well as the entire nation on Independence Day, the national holiday you have celebrated recently. As far as I know, it is observed on August 31. I would like to use this opportunity to wish the people of Malaysia all the best, prosperity and wellbeing.
