Guide to permanently terminate/delete your Bitget's account

This process allow you to create a new account with your new referral code

Bitget will not allow: One-1 person using multiple ID such as passport/driving licence.

After you create a new account please take note of your new userID number to re-use same email address/mobile number.

Please inform @cookingfood your old Bitget UID and email address/mobile number and new Bitget UID and email address/mobile number to expedite the process.

How to do:

For Android and iOS:
1. Open Bitget’s App and log in to your account.
2. Tap the profile icon at the top left corner.
3. Beside your profile photo, tap [My Account].
4. At the bottom of the page, tap on [>] beside [Close Account].
5. Tap on [Close Account] and after tick the checkbox.
6. Read the account closing pop up reminder and tap on [Close Account].
7. Tick the checkbox if you agree to the terms then hit [Next]
8. Enter your account's password and tap [Submit].
9. Enter the Email/SMS verification code(s) and tap on [Confirm] to submit the application.
10. Your application has been successfully submitted.

For Web users:
1. Go to https://www.bitget.com/en/ and login to your account.
2. Hover your cursor over the profile icon at the top right corner.
3. Click on [Dashboard] - [My Profile].
4. Scroll to the bottom and click on [>] beside [Close Account].
5. Click on [Cancel Account] and read the terms carefully.
6. Tick the checkbox if you agree to the terms. After that, click on [Cancel Account] to proceed.
7. Enter your account's login password and click on [Submit].

We are writing to inform you about upcoming changes to the terms and conditions of Bybit Affiliate Program.

Starting from 30 December 2024, the new EU Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation ("MiCAR") will become effective, which changes the entire regulatory landscape in Europe but will also bring new opportunities and benefits for crypto service providers, customers and other stakeholders like affiliates. However, MiCAR requires service providers like Bybit to apply for a license before being able to unlock these new potentials. Bybit is committed to compliance and thus to receiving such a license as soon as possible.

However, as a temporary measure until we receive the MiCAR license, please be advised of the following:
From 30th December 2024 00:00 UTC+2, all Bybit affiliates will no longer receive any commissions from EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (together the European Economic Area or "EEA") brought to Bybit Global platform (List of EEA countries mentioned below)
As an affiliate, you should not promote towards an EEA audience. This includes specifically addressing an audience in any EEA region or using an EEA language to address an EEA audience. As this may attract personal liability for you under applicable consumer protection laws.
We seek your co-operation in following the guidelines as soon as possible, failing these requirements or the discovery of content in breach of these conditions can result in the termination of your affiliate account and/or the withholding / forefiture of any commissions without further notice to you.
