Media Lead (Field Production) is needed at IT Community of Uzbekistan 🎥

We are looking for a Media Lead expert to produce high-quality visual content from all our events, projects, and initiatives across the country.

This is a hands-on, on-the-ground role for someone who lives and breathes storytelling through video and understands how content shapes communities, narratives, and impact. You will travel extensively, work directly at our events, and turn real moments into compelling stories for social media and beyond.

This role is critical to how the IT Community of Uzbekistan is seen, remembered, and scaled.

Key Responsibilities:
- Film all key community activities: events, meetups, roadshows, forums, hackathons, workshops, and other projects.

- Travel extensively across Uzbekistan to cover our regional and national initiatives.

- Independently manage the full production cycle:

- Pre-event planning (formats, angles, storylines)

- On-site filming (video + photo shoots, interviews)

- Post-production editing (short-form, long-form, reels, stories).

- Edit and adapt content for different platforms: Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts); Telegram; LinkedIn; YouTube (shorts and long-form when required).

- Publish content consistently and on time, following content guidelines and platform best practices.

Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a videographer / visual content creator / media producer, preferably in events or other fast-moving environments.

- Strong video filming and editing skills (mobile-only creators are welcome only if quality is consistently high).

- Ideally have own professional or semi-professional equipment, including:
Camera or high-quality smartphone
Stabilization (gimbal / tripod)
Microphone(s)
Laptop and editing software

- Deep understanding of social media formats and trends (especially short-form video).

- Highly responsible, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.

- Languages:
Strong Uzbek and/or Russian are required
Working proficiency in English is preferred
