MUNG BEANS DAAL

Mung beans is best of all beans. Its part of yogis, monks diet too.
It is a good substitute for milk.
It can be taken in almost all diseases condition.

Ingredients
1 cup mung beans
2 tbsp oil
3 tbsp each chopped onions and tomotos
1 tbsp cumin seeds
Turmeric, chilli powder, salt as per taste
1 cup water

Preparation
Soak split or whole mung beans for 2 hrs.
Heat pressure cooker on medium flame then
Add oil.
Add cumin seeds
Add chopped onions.
Roast for 3-4 mins or till turn light brown.
Add finely chopped tomatoes
Add spices and little water.
Cook for 5-7mins.
Stir continously.

Now add soaked mung beans.
Add enough water to cover beans and onions.
Close the lid of pressure cooker. Cook on medium flame
Give 2 - 3 whistles.

Open cooker and add chopped Parsley leaves.
Serve hot with butter and bread or rice or cooked grains or enjoy as soup.
