📍📍📍Google сообщила о планах создать единую платформу для видеосвязи на базе приложений Duo и Meet. Новый сервис будет назван Meet и объединит в себе возможности обоих приложений.
Интеграция начнется уже в ближайшее время с добавления функций Meet в сервис Duo, в первую очередь – текстового чата, обмена файлами и поддержки виртуальных фонов. Количество участников видеозвонков обещают увеличить до 100 человек.
Когда процесс объединения завершится, приложения будут переименованы: после того, как Duo превратится в Meet, Meet в его теперешнем виде будет называться Meet Original. В дальнейшем Meet Original вообще будет закрыт (напомним, что в августе 2020 компания собиралась закрыть приложение Duo🤷♀️).

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (Python, PyTest, Playwright, API/integration tests).
• Continuously support and adapt existing tests as platform evolves.
• Prepare release-candidate validation, perform regression runs, highlight risks.
• Work closely with developers and product team to improve testing strategy and QA coverage.
• Contribute to improving CI pipelines and test execution stability.
Requirements
• 3+ years in Python-based test automation (Middle+ level).
• Strong experience with functional, API, performance, stability testing.
• CI/CD experience (GitLab CI).
