Cartoon Network USA is preparing for the premiere of a new spin-off series, Regular Show: The Lost Tapes, by hosting a major television marathon. Starting on the 6th of May, the network will broadcast original Regular Show episodes in release order to reintroduce fans to the misadventures of Mordecai and Rigby.

The new series, which premieres on the 11th of May, will reportedly feature 44 episodes. Rather than acting as a sequel to the original finale, The Lost Tapes is set during the initial eight-season run.

Much of the original creative team and cast are reuniting for the project. Series creator JG Quintel returns as showrunner and the voice of Mordecai, alongside original voice actors William Salyers (Rigby), Mark Hamill (Skips), Sam Marin (Muscleman), and Minty Lewis (Eileen).

The Warner Bros. Discovery Mexico team recently stepped behind the screen for an exclusive masterclass, delving into the creative process of one of the network's most groundbreaking new projects.

Led by creators Daniel Luche and María Ayelén Bustos, the session offered an intimate look at La Huella del Oro. The project marks a significant milestone in regional broadcasting, standing as the very first original Latin American animation produced by Cartoon Network LatAm specifically for Adult Swim LatAm.

During the event, the team gained firsthand insights into the conceptualisation, artistic development, and sheer creativity required to bring this unique animated series to life. For WBD Mexico, the masterclass served as an inspiring reminder of the stories and dedicated talent driving the future of Latin American animation.

The National (U.S.) Animation Museum celebrated Superman Day yesterday (Saturday 18th April), honouring the Man of Steel's rich animated legacy from the 1940s to the present day.

Also, a brand-new "Superman Experience" has now opened at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Hollywood.

The museum expressed gratitude to the Warner Bros. team for providing the museum an early sneak preview of the new exhibit.

At the upcoming SXSW London 2026 Screen Festival (1st-6th June 2026), the upcoming Adult Swim animated series from Warner Bros. Animation, "Get Jiro" will feature in an exclusive first-look screening.

The show is an adaptation of the bestselling DC/Vertigo graphic novel by the late, renowned chef Anthony Bourdain.

The series is set in a near-future version of Los Angeles where master chefs act as the city's rulers, and citizens are willing to literally kill for a reservation at the best restaurants.

The series stars actor Brian Tee. The executive production team includes Brian Gatewood, Alessandro Tanaka, Jordan Blum, Anthony Bourdain, Joel Rose, and Sam Register.

Ketchup Entertainment has secured a new distribution partnership with V10 Entertainment. Under this agreement, V10 will manage the sales of the pay-1 window and downstream rights for Ketchup's slate of films.

Most notably, the deal includes the rights to the highly anticipated hybrid live-action/animated film Coyote vs. Acme, featuring voice work from John Cena and Will Forte. Ketchup Entertainment previously acquired the film from Warner Bros. following a high-profile industry deal to save the project.
