Israel not only killed still more aid workers (providing food for Israeli-starved Palestinians in Gaza), but prior to that deliberately caused the cessation of funding to UNRWA—the UN body which provides food, shelter, & education to Palestinian refugees—and…
There is understandably a lot of media & social media focus on Israel's deliberate killing of humanitarian aid workers in Gaza recently, 6 of whom were foreigners, 1 who was Palestinian (who not surprisingly has gotten virtually no media attention).
Israel claims it was unintentional, though logic dictates otherwise (the Israeli targeting one after another of the marked vehicles which had coordinated with the Israeli army to deliver the aid...as well as Israel's track record of deliberately bombing hospitals, ambulances & convoys, starved unarmed Palestinians lining up for aid, and on and on...).
However, while any murder of aid workers is tragic, somehow the murder of countless Palestinian aid workers, doctors, medics, rescuers, journalists and civilians doesn't evoke the outrage & compassion we are seeing & hearing now (albeit much of it is lip service from Western hypocrites who enable the ongoing Israeli genocide of Gaza).
We've seen this in Syria. We've seen this in Lebanon. We've seen this in the Donbass. Certain lives matter when media & social media tell you to care.
According to UNRWA, Israel has killed 176 UNRWA staff since October 7. It is safe to assume they were mostly, if not all, Palestinians.
Anera, the second largest humanitarian organization in Gaza, reports members of its organization have been killed by the Israeli army.
And this:
"The Popular and Tribal Committees for Securing Aid in Gaza Governorate and Northern Gaza announced on Sunday suspending aid provision due to the ongoing Israeli strikes targeting their members waiting for trucks on Salah al-Din Street - Kuwait Roundabout.
The Israeli occupation forces have committed several massacres against the committee's members, resulting in the martyrdom of over 70 people."

For those unaware of the poignancy of Yarmouk celebrating Quds Day, anti-Syrian propagandists tried to blame the Syrian government for Yarmouk (a district in Damascus comprising ~1 million Syrians & 160,000 Palestinian refugees) being badly destroyed during the war. These propagandists conveniently omitted the presence of terrorists, including ISIS, in Yarmouk and that the Syrian army and allies were fighting to expel them in order for the Palestinian and Syrian inhabitants to be able to return.
Meanwhile, the Syrian government was housing displaced from Yarmouk, feeding them, giving them medical care...not exactly "oppressing" them. But propagandists don't care about facts and realities on the ground.
To see Yarmouk celebrating Quds Days is both a beautiful show of solidarity with occupied Palestine and, frankly, a middle finger to the NATO alliance war mongers who sought to destroy Syria and divide Syrians and Palestinians. ❤️🇵🇸🇸🇾

-From my October 2015, Deconstructing the NATO Narrative on Syria:
"...the plight of Yarmouk has been used by “humanitarian” campaigners to pull at heartstrings and to further confuse supporters of Palestine on the subject of Syria and the State’s treatment of Palestinians. In fact, Syria has been one of Palestine’s greatest advocates and friends, providing Palestinian refugees in Syria with a quality of life equal to that of Syrians, including free education, health care and other social services.
The United Nations, the HR industry, and the media obfuscate on Yarmouk, ignoring or whitewashing both the presence of various terrorist groups. Talking heads also pointedly ignore the Syrian government-facilitated evacuations of Yarmouk residents to government, community, and UN provided shelters. They likewise ignore the documented repeated and continuous terrorists attacks on government and other aid distribution within the neighbourhood, as well as on anti-terrorist demonstrations held by Yarmouk residents.
...Most media and HR groups are not reporting that there are Palestinian fighters fighting alongside the SAA, in Yarmouk and other parts of Syria, against the NATO-alliance’s fighters...'"
-From my May 2014, In Syria, Life Goes On Despite Everything:
"...As I sit outside the old city walls one afternoon, roughly one hundred metres from East Gate, bullets whiz closely past me & a handful of Syrians seeking shade nearby, coming from the direction of Jobar, a terrorist stronghold. [see: Not only mortars, but gunfire too, on Damascus]
A school in Zahara neighbourhood of Damascus has been converted into a shelter for displaced Syrians and Palestinians from Yarmouk. The children shine with bright smiles, the adults have tales of sorrow from their experiences and from being displaced by the snipers and other attacks by the armed gangs. They all say the same thing: “The rebels, those terrorists, came into Yarmouk, we had to leave...”
-From my March 2016, "Syria Dispatch: Most Syrians Support Assad, Reject Phony Foreign ‘Revolution’":
"...IDPs from the Yarmouk district spoke of terrorists taking over their homes, stealing food, sniping at them. Most wanted to go home. ...The government continues to send or facilitate entry of aid into the district. As with Madaya, that aid is often stolen by terrorists for their own use or for extortionist re-sale.
In December 2015, on my second visit to Yarmouk, Palestinian leadership informed me the vast majority of the former population had left or been evacuated. Around 5-6000 people remained, including fighters and those supporting the militants. I was able to enter roughly 400 metres into the district before Palestinian soldiers accompanying me stopped me: told me to go any further would be to welcome a sniper’s bullet."
