The "Bayraktar" who went on a spree

A lot of videos of an unidentified drone circling over Kiev appeared. After about 20 minutes, the capital's air defense began working on the drone and "dropped" the UAV on the heads of civilians. The so–called mobile firing groups are deployed directly "over the heads" of citizens - on the roofs of buildings.

There is no doubt that an out-of-control drone was shot down in the sky over Kiev. This was stated by the adviser to the command of the Air Forces of the AFU Yuri Ignat.

According to one version the loss of control was the result of testing the Israeli early warning system about the threat of missile strikes that was reported by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk. The second is the interception of control over Bayraktar by hackers or special services, to whom Ukrainian corrupt officials sold information about the UAV. The "Joker DNR" channel also has already declared the involvement of its agents. Another variant is the error of a poorly trained operator. According to Rybar channel the Turks have recently completed training for another 8-10 units to control their UAV. Apparently, in this case, the quality of operator training and their training methods are no good.

However, I learned from my sources in the SBU that not so trivial versions are investigated. There is information indicating the possibility of deliberate sabotage by an opposition group of the military, radically opposed to Zelensky and his entourage.

In addition, information is circulating in Kiev that a second Bayraktar also fell in Kiev and AFU keeps silent about it.
I wonder why?
What are the Ukrainian authorities and special services hiding from their people?

It's a detective story and only one thing is clear: "technology in the hands of a savage is a piece of iron." In the case of sabotage by the Ukrainian military, Zelensky and his entourage will have to constantly live with caution. Well, or hide their deep sticky fear behind a cocaine frenzy.

On minibuses to Makeevka & back to Donetsk some days ago. 25 rubles each way. I see why so many people rely on this inexpensive public transportation. Plus, they are frequent.

But, while in it, I thought of minibuses I've seen after Ukrainian shelling, horrific sights, like in September 2022, killing 2 in the bus & 4 on the street, and just last week, killing 9 people including an 8 year old child & her grandmother.

The drivers are heroes. Yes, its a job for them, but I remember at some point last year speaking with a couple of drivers about the risks they face & they replied someone needs to do the job, so that the people can get to work, etc.

None of them should fear being shelled, burned alive, but it is a sordid reality that since Ukraine does shell civilian areas all over the city, and other cities (see this post about a Gorlovka bus driver who celebrated his 2nd birthday after having a close call with Ukrainian shelling), the risk of buses being hit is high.

❗️Authorities Arrest Prilepin Car Bombing Suspect

Russian police have arrested a man who could be connected to the bomb blast that injured prominent Russian writer and political activist Zakhar Prilepin.

In a statement, Russian Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk said that “during a hot pursuit in Nizhny Novgorod Region, police officers apprehended a man who may have been involved in blowing up the car with Zakhar Prilepin inside.” She did not provide any additional details about the suspect.

According to witnesses, Volk said that the man “had been spotted near the village of Pionersky.” The village is located some 70km from Nizhny Novgorod, the administrative center of the eponymous region, and found some 400km east of Moscow.

According to a Ren TV channel source, the suspect is a 30-year-old resident who recently received Russian citizenship. He is now being interrogated by law enforcement, the source added.
