Nearly 42 million Americans depend on someone else to buy their food. That this situation exists at all is a national disgrace. The US empire has utterly failed its people. While billions go to Israel and Ukraine, sending bombs, missiles and seemingly unlimited funds to everyone else, and while the Trump family is getting ultra-wealthy from crypto schemes and obviously trading on insider knowledge, tens of millions of Americans can't even pay for food. The Trump admin continues to print trillions in fiat currency, further stealing purchasing power from those who hold dollars, accelerating the collapse into widespread poverty and destitution for the American people while the Military Industrial Complex is handed nearly a trillion dollars a year to waste on corruption, fraud and obsolete weapons that hardly even work. The entire promise of "America First" turned out to be a damn lie. Trump puts other nations first and the American people last. His actions are indicative of the last desperate stage of a dying empire run by those who are so isolated from the people they claim to represent, that we're not far now from a "Let them eat cake" moment.

Superabundance of intelligence does not equate to superabundance of physical elements. Those who are arguing things like, "AI automation will reduce the cost of everything to zero" are truly delusional.

You still have constraints on aluminum, copper, iron ore, etc. You still have to process iron ore to make steel. You still have to refine things. You still have to wait for food to grow, and you have to pull weeds, provide water, etc., or you'll get no crops.

AI automation doesn't magically produce physical matter out of nothing. And superintelligence doesn't automatically create instant energy abundance where all electricity is free, either. Because electricity will always have a cost associated with it, manufacturing will always cost something greater than zero.

So no, everything isn't going to "cost zero." AI automation can replace some portion of human labor with machine labor, but it can't wave a magic wand a generate a pile of copper. You're still doing to have to dig that out of the ground and refine it. And that will ALWAYS cost something.

HONEST ASSESSMENT: Political victory in the mid-terms is going to depend on these two opposing trends:

Trend #1 (favors Republicans): Exposing all the shocking levels of Democrat vote fraud, removing illegals from the country, prosecuting election fraudsters and exposing the Democrat ballot stuffing / voting machine black box operations as well as the left-wing vote fraud money laundering operations via NGOs, government grants that are laundered (USAID, former EPA grants, etc.) into campaign coffers.

Trend #2 (favors Democrats): Shocking levels of inflation in food, living supplies and every form of insurance, including health insurance. Continued money printing by the trillions. Destruction of supply chains due to Trump's precarious tariffs. Massive job losses, including jobs replaced by AI. Collapsing consumer expenditures, large-scale layoffs and even bankruptcies among retailers, e-commerce companies and service industry providers. Abundantly evident Trump favoritism of Israel over America, funneling billions to Israel while Americans suffer increasing levels of homelessness and food scarcity as the domestic infrastructure continues to sharply deteriorate.

In my mind, the question is: Will Trump and the Republicans remove enough left-wing cheating and fraud from the election process to balance out all the newly-bankrupt Americans who will likely be blaming the GOP for their dire economic reality?

I don't know the answer (too early to tell), but this is what I think are the two primary vectors that will determine the outcome of the mid-terms next year.

MY ADVICE: If Trump and the GOP don't start putting America first, and if they can't meaningfully shore up the increasingly dire economic situation that most Americans are experiencing with the "K-shaped economy" (where the rich get richer and the poor majority gets increasingly impoverished), it's increasingly likely that the Democrats could sweep the mid-terms, followed by an almost immediate impeachment of Trump (again!) in early 2027 while halting most of his political agenda.

If you knew what I accomplished with AI this weekend, you would never say, "AI is a bubble." And you would never say, "AGI is impossible."

AI is just barely getting started. The mainstream tech consumer audience truly has no idea how far AI tech has already advanced in the dev teams building the next gen of frontier models.

Recursive reasoning, advancements in FP16 implementation, text token compression into efficient images, etc... these are each groundbreaking milestones but pale in comparison to what's coming.

I have intentionally watched about a dozen videos of people complaining that AI doesn't work, claiming that "vibe coding" always fails, that AGI is impossible, etc., and you know what? It's like listening to flat earthers trying to deny that our planet is a sphere. Every single person who I've heard complain about vibe coding appears to be terrible at prompt engineering and doesn't understand basic coding structures, database structures, capabilities and limitations of computing systems, etc. "Vibe coding" isn't the problem. It's the human who doesn't know how to vibe code that's the issue.

They remind me of the people in the 1980s who swore off word processors on PCs, saying, "Using a typewriter is easier." Or people who said Lotus 123 was a waste of time because "I can do it faster with a calculator and a sheet of paper." That echoes of scribes arguing that the printing press was blasphemy and would allow too many people to read unapproved material, and that reading and writing should be limited to a specific social class of the wealthy elite.

Each person can of course choose to live in the past, but they can't stop the progress of AI technology and its profound implications for augmenting and in many cases replacing human intelligence.

Food banks across the country are seeing unprecedented demand for food assistance, and we are starting to see videos depicting isolated acts of violence surrounding food thefts in grocery store parking lots.

Never forget the saying, "Nine meals away from anarchy." For many Americans on food assistance, if the SNAP program isn't funded within the next few days, those nine meals are going to count down quickly. In my assessment, it seems as if the Democrats actively want to engineer a severe food scarcity crisis among their support base, most likely in order to try to twist the narrative into blaming Trump for their own hunger.

But it's not Trump's fault that 42 million Americans (not all of whom are even U.S. citizens) are living on food stamp benefits funded by taxpayers. We are clearly at a crisis inflection point in this country, and it looks to me like Democrats are seeking to exploit this for maximum political carnage, even as their own support base goes hungry.

Aside from all this, the SNAP program needs to be radically reformed to: 1) Reject SNAP benefits for non-citizens. 2) Disqualify all processed foods, soda pop, junk food, etc., from being purchased with food stamp benefits. Basic food staples only (along with quality infant nutrition, which hardly exists at retail in the USA). Recipients should cook their own meals at home.

I use Linux on my workstations that crunch content data, and Linux is far more reliable and more private. Even better, most flavors of Linux are free and open source.

You should migrate from Windows to Linux. By far the EASIEST Linux variety to choose, that looks almost exactly like windows, and that works intuitively and almost seamlessly, is "Linux Mint" that you can download for free at LinuxMint.com (the "cinnamon" flavor of the most common variety).

Download it, flash it to a USB drive, boot to USB, install Linux Mint with a dual boot, and you can always boot back to your old Windows, or boot to the new Linux Mint (your choice). Once you have Linux Mint installed, Microsoft can no longer spy on you and your photos and documents, activities, browser logs, etc.

Make the switch. Give Bill Gates the finger. Use Linux instead of Windows.
