ARE INFLUENCERS INFLUENCED? On the subject of influencers in general, I hope people realize that high-level influencers are constantly subjected to various outside influences themselves. Usually that comes in the form of money, like Tim Pool receiving strange amounts of sponsorship money from sources that turned out to be questionable. Other times it's in the form of threats, like the constant threats received by InfoWars hosts (including swatting, like what happened to Owen Shroyer). Where possible, influencers can also be blackmailed with compromising material, and they can be subjected to either actual honey pot traps or deep fakes that might be convincing to the public. Another vector is when employees or colleagues are offered money to turn on an influencer. Years ago, I was offered $50,000 to turn on Alex Jones. I refused. And I paid the price, as I was told that if I refused, I would be de-platformed from major online platforms, and that's exactly what happened. NOT turning on Alex Jones cost me millions of dollars in medium-term revenue for my online store, by the way. Economic de-platforming is the very first weapon of those who try to silence you. Jones himself was offered tens of millions of dollars to turn against his own audience and promote globalist agendas. He also refused, but some of his former employees took money from corporate media to smear him with fabricated information. To think that Nick Fuentes isn't being subjected to all sorts of forces, offers and potential compromising traps is to live in ignorance of how the world of content influencers actually operates. What determines the real merit of a person is how well (and for how long) they can resist the threats, the money offers and the blackmail attempts. And also to find out if they can handle "fame" (at times) and "wealth" (if they earn enough money) without losing their way and becoming arrogant or disconnected. It's actually a small subset of influencers who can navigate all these things and still come out with their integrity and humanity intact. A couple of years ago, for example, I turned down $100,000 / month from a potential sponsor in the gold space. I didn't think their pricing was honest, so I said no. In my book, the jury is still out on Nick Fuentes in the long run, but I'm praying for his success in staying the course that's true to pro-human values and true to conservative and libertarian principles. NOTE that the audiences of conservatives influencers tend to be very well informed and very sensitive to sudden changes in your posture on issues. That's why when any person suddenly changes course, it's an instant red flag among their own audience / followers. What followers expect is consistency grounded in moral principles. When influencers break that consistency, it's often a sign that they've been influenced by some outside force and convinced to alter the alignment of their speech. If I, for example, were to come out and start promoting a Big Pharma weight loss drug, I would lose my entire base of followers, because that would betray the very principles of natural health and nutrition that I've taught for 25+ years. What wise influencers realize is that integrity is your only real currency. And you can lose it in an instant if you betray your own followers, on whatever topics you make your focus.
