Although I despise his politics, I don't have any issue at all with Zohran Mamdami eating rice with his fingers. (In Taiwan, I learned to eat rice with wooden sticks.) I don't have an issue with people wearing keffiyehs or any other head dress. What I have an issue with is the systematic murder of innocent women, children, doctors, food aid workers and other civilians, IN ANY CONTEXT, initiated by anyone. This is actually a genius move to force Ukraine to the peace negotiating table: The US is suspending its supply of weapons to Ukraine as part of its “America first” policy, Washington's envoy to NATO Matthew Whitaker has told Fox Business. 155mm artillery shells? No soup for you! Stinger missiles? No soup for you! Patriot missile interceptors? NO SOUP FOR YOU!
Of course, those weapons will instead be sent to Israel because there's always plenty of soup for Israel, right? In any case, Ukraine is running out of options and will soon be forced to negotiate what are effectively its terms of surrender to Russia.
