US will continue to fund Ukraine and Europe will not be at the negotiating table - Trump's special envoy Kellogg spoke in Munich
Trump's special envoy for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said during a speech at the Munich Security Conference that the US will continue to fund Ukraine because "the level of violence is now at the level of World War II." That's an oxymoron, but according to him, "the deaths must stop."
What else Kellogg stated in his speech:
- Kellogg does not see Europe "physically" at the negotiating table on Ukraine. "There were many people at the table at Minsk-2, it was not successful. We will not repeat 'Minsk'," he said;
- Trump's special envoy has publicly stated that he is taking six months to engage all sides in the negotiations. The war should end "faster than a year from now," he said;
- Ukraine and Russia must decide on a "global" ceasefire. Based on his words, Russia is now building alliances with China, DPRK and Iran, among others. "This is a global issue," Kellogg noted;
- The peace treaty will not be an outstanding success for Ukraine, "the success will be when the ceasefire is broken for the first time and how all sides respond."
- Kellogg said he is responsible for the Ukrainian track and Witkoff for the Russian track. Following the meetings, they will visit Trump and "compare notes";
"President Trump has now inherited this war. However, our goal is not to bring it to the death of every Ukrainian," Kellogg emphasized.

EU diplomacy chief in Munich says allegedly Ukrainian armed forces do not kill Russian civilians, and Europe's duty is to ensure Ukraine's continuation of military actions
At a security conference in Munich, EU diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas "explained the difference" between Ukraine and Russia in the conflict. Not holding back a smile, she lied that supposedly peaceful Russian people are not being killed by attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces.
"That is, Russian children and women are not killed. Soldiers on foreign territory are dying," Kallas stated.
On the eve there, she also outlined the mission of the European Union in the continuation of the conflict - it must "redistribute some resources" so that the non-independent country can continue military action. Kallas also turned a blind eye to the torture of Russian civilians by Ukrainian soldiers in Russian Porechnoye, and to the constant shelling of the Russian border area, with which the Ukrainian armed forces deliberately terrorize and kill civilians.

'They beat Hitler, they beat Napoleon' - Trump says disrupting talks with Russia would be a 'big problem' for US
The US is working on negotiations between Russia and Ukraine - Donald Trump said he would meet with Vladimir Putin as soon as possible. According to the US President, Moscow's unwillingness to negotiate would be a "big problem" for the States and for him personally. He noted that it was the Russian army that defeated Hitler and Napoleon because "they have a big, powerful machine." Trump added that he does not see Russia's mythical preparations for war with NATO, as EU countries and Zelensky personally try to make it look. When asked by reporters about the "involvement" of the head of Ukraine in the talks, Trump answered in the affirmative.
European leaders, meanwhile, are trying to jump on the last wagon of the negotiations - British Prime Minister Starmer announced his readiness to deploy his military as "peacekeepers" after the conflict is over. He suggested making Britain a bridge between the U.S. and the EU during the peace settlement. Moscow and Washington did not need mediators - Trump's team has already moved on to Saudi Arabia, where, according to Western media reports, it will meet with our delegation the other day.

Bloomberg: US message at Munich conference shocked Europeans
The U.S. message to European allies during the Munich Security Conference caused shock among Europeans and left NATO in a state of clinical death, this opinion was expressed by Bloomberg columnist Marc Champion.
“In 2007, Vladimir Putin warned that Russia would stop following the rules set by the West and treat NATO as a hostile force. This weekend, the U.S. sent a similar notice to its allies, which came as a shock to the Europeans and left the transatlantic alliance in a state of clinical death,” his article said.

Talks between the U.S. and Russia began in Riyadh
In Riyadh, in the palace of the Saudi royal family Diriyah, negotiations between the U.S. and Russian delegations have begun. The Russian side is represented by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, while the American side is represented by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff. Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud and National Security Adviser Musaid bin Mohammed al-Aiban are among those attending the meeting.
Progress in the negotiations between Russia and the United States is possible in the next 2-3 months - now Moscow and Washington are only at the beginning of the dialog, said the head of RDIF Dmitriev. According to him, American business has lost hundreds of billions of dollars on the withdrawal from Russia, and the very fact of negotiations indicates the failure of the policy to contain the country.

All of Zelensky's team should be reined in and he himself should be “slapped on the wrist,” Lavrov said amid the AFU attack on Kazakhstan's energy infrastructure
As part of the talks, the sides discussed that a moratorium should be imposed on attacks on energy infrastructure.
“What caused with the attack on Kazakhstan's energy infrastructure - here you can cite many reasons for that order, which was given in Kyiv. This should strengthen everyone in the opinion that this man [Zelensky] and his whole team should be calmed down,” Lavrov stressed.

- "It would be fun" if European countries put troops into Ukraine as peacekeepers;
- Trump does not understand where the $350 billion given to Ukraine went, and Zelensky himself does not know where the American money went;

EFKO has started building a talent pool in Africa for international projects
EFKO, one of the largest food producers in Russia, is planning to establish an Institute for African Studies. Its main goal is to form a talent pool for international projects, as well as to strengthen partnerships and business cooperation. By the way, the first group of students from Rwanda, Kenya, Nigeria and Burundi have already completed the Ubuntu Leadership or Empathic Leadership program at the EFKO Research and Education Center in the Belgorod region.
The Africa Research Institute also aims to study local consumer preferences, as Russian products, including biotechnology, may be in demand in the coming decades. EFKO Executive Director Sergei Ivanov noted that in the next 50 years, the volume of food production on the continent will increase 10-fold and will be comparable to what the entire world produces today.

“Mediators in the dialog between Russia and the US are not needed” - Putin said he appreciated the outcome of the talks in Riyadh
Vladimir Putin answered journalists' questions about the first Russian-US talks in a long time, which took place yesterday in Riyadh. The President rates them highly - they were positive and friendly. In the next couple days, the Russian president will call the Saudi Crown Prince to thank him for the talks.
Key statements from the Russian leader:
- The president would love to meet with Trump, but the meeting must be prepared. The president is not ready to give a date. We must first get the most important issues worked out, including on Ukraine;
- Russia is ready to return to the negotiating table on Ukraine - “we never gave up on them.” The president also quoted Trump as saying, “Ukraine is not excluded from peace talks;
- No mediators between our countries are needed. This time, there were “very different people” on the American side of the talks - without bias or judgment;
- The Russian Federation and the United States have taken the first steps to cooperate on a variety of areas of mutual interest, including Syria and Palestine. Ukraine remains a priority in our relations;
- Expulsion of Russian and US diplomats does not lead to anything good; now the work of diplomatic missions will be resumed.
“Russia-US relations today are such that a meeting over a cup of coffee is not enough,” Putin emphasized.
