New Common Curriculum – All Radiology courses will follow the same standardized syllabus set by NCAHP.
*No More Diplomas* – 🎓 Diploma courses in Radiology will be discontinued from 2026–27.
✅ Only Graduate (B.Sc.) and Postgraduate (M.Sc./M.A.Sc./Advanced) courses will continue.
*Better Recognition* – The new system ensures national-level recognition for radiographers and professionals.
*Governance* – Every university must set up a Board of Studies for Allied & Healthcare courses.
*Monitoring* – State Allied & Healthcare Councils and State Health Departments will supervise compliance.
🔹 *Why This Change?*
✔ To bring uniformity in education across India
✔ To give stronger professional identity to radiographers
✔ To align with the NCAHP Act, 2021 and global healthcare standards
🔹 *Who Must Follow This?*
🏫 All institutions, 📚 students, 🏢 universities, 🌐 councils & 🏛️ governments.
⚠️ *Important for students currently in Diploma courses:* You can continue till completion, but no new admissions will be allowed in Diploma Radiology from 2026–27 onwards.
💡 This is a mandatory reform – ensure you are updated about your course pathway.
