Because of social media and Internet, everyone now has access to a lot of experts in our field who are more than happy to help. A few tips that I follow personally.
👉Whenever you approach any of them make sure you give a short introduction about yourself before you ask your query. I have got a lot of messages without introduction. Although their queries are genuine but it is not appropriate to not give a short introduction.
👉 More information you provide more help they will be able to provide. More specific your query is more useful the answer will be for you.
👉One more important thing is not to misuse the access you have. Before you send that message / mail, take a pause and confirm if it is appropriate to the person directed.
👉 Most people are willing to help if you frame the right question and present it properly.
👉 Be patient. If you do not get a reply send a gentle reminder.
👉 Do not send images on WhatsApp or Telegram for reporting. Most people will not be comfortable on reporting scans on images. If you have a specific query which cannot be solved by discussion with your colleagues and seniors, you can forward the study.
👉 Remember accessible does not mean available.

Dear all!
Thank you for being part of the RadioGyan community.
Many residents and radiologists and residents message me with their queries. I try to answer all of them but please do understand that I am a working professional just like all of you. I have a deadlines to meet like all of you, especially being a fellow in a busy radiology department. There is routine work, research work and the website (with all its social media channels). At times it becomes difficult to answer all the queries and I have skipped a few of them. In the upcoming days I will try to answer all the ones that I have received so far. Apologies to those whose queries have not been answered so far.
If you have any question you would want to ask, please feel free to ask here: https://radiogyan.com/contact/
The questions here are organised and this would be the preferred way to contact me. The messages get lost on Telegram and WhatsApp so it is difficult to track them.
Alternatively you can ask it in our telegram group: https://t.me/radiogyan . There may be others who can answer your query, which will not only be quicker, but they may have a better answer than I have.
Check the previous queries and answers : #AskRG
Please keep in mind these things before you message: https://t.me/radiogyan/11640
