First recorded usage of the term 'transhumanism,' from New Bottles for New Wine (1950) by Julian Huxley, the first director of UNESCO:

"We are already justified in the conviction that human life as we know it in history is a wretched makeshift, rooted in ignorance; and that it could be transcended by a state of existence based on the illumination of knowledge and comprehension, just as our modern control of physical nature based on science transcends the tentative fumblings of our ancestors, that were rooted in superstition and professional secrecy.

The human species can, if it wishes, transcend itself — not just sporadically, an individual here in one way, an individual there in another way, but in its entirety, as humanity. We need a name for this new belief. Perhaps transhumanism will serve: man remaining man, but transcending himself, by realizing new possibilities of and for his human nature."
Sorry for that confusing post of Frodi's pagan anti-Christian comments!

I was trying to save it off because I’m considering a response… And hit the wrong button.
Chardin's view here is parallel to one that Rothbard identified as at the root of Marxism and other leftist worldviews:

"So man and God will be united in some cataclysmic species unity. Each individual will also be united with every other individual in one blob."

This eschatological perspective flows from a flawed creatology (doctrine of creation) which Rothbard here calls the "mystical" approach:

"The orthodox Christian position is that [a perfect] God created the universe out of pure love. … The mystical approach is that [an imperfect] God created the universe out of felt need, out of what Mises would’ve called felt uneasiness – God was lonesome."

This leads them then to the doctrine of alienation.

The solution to alienation? Re-merge into the blob!

Mistake in this post: https://t.me/thuletide/2560

Apparently Huxley did not coin the term transhumanism. He took it from the Jesuit Catholic humanist, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who was a pretty weird guy. Teilhard believed that the human soul is fundamentally a product of the material world, advocated for a materialist one-world religion, and believed that the technological singularity would awaken the "spirit of the earth" and create a "Noosphere" (mind-sphere), which is a sphere of conjoined consciousness that envelops the entire earth. So, kinda like The End of Evangelion (if you've seen that movie - if not, sorry for the forthcoming spoiler) where all life gets mushed into goop and becomes one singular hivemind.

Anti-natalism is one of the most inorganic trends out there. As far as I can tell, it's almost entirely because of propaganda in popular culture. Most people's instincts naturally guide them towards wanting children.

Young women grow up constantly hearing about "getting educated" and "building their career," and hearing about how pregnancy will "ruin their bodies" and how scary and risky it is—it's almost all bullshit, of course—but what do you expect from young people when they're constantly bombarded with this messaging?

My wife gave birth with no drugs, no interventions, and everything went fine. Modern medical interventions are fine in case of emergency, but most C-sections are medically unnecessary.

People had children during the Great Depression. They had children during war. They had children during every horrible event you can think of throughout history.

There's no "perfect time" to have kids, there's always some kind of inconvenient factor—if you want kids, just do it!
"To achieve the noble end of smushing humanity into formless goop, Teilhard advocated a one-world religion, something that has been promoted by the United Nations cabal for decades"

It's almost like when we said the Western media lies about absolutely everything because they place perception management above reality, we were 100% correct. I have zero respect, ZERO, for anyone peddling the MSM line at this point. You're a joke. You're their toy.
Thuletide didn't mention my "favorite" moment in the history of the left and pedophilia. Look at who signed this!

Apparently the new cuckservative narrative is that the Leftist ideologues who are teaching toddlers about ass sex and trannies aren't "grooming" them, and that calling these Cultural Marxists 'groomers' is "harmful" and "discredits the Right."

https://twitter.com/njhochman/status/1511361505861713928

Firstly, the concept of "gender" was invented in the 1950s by a literal pedophile and backed up by pedophilic experiments. So, anyone teaching this shit to kids is teaching a pedophile ideology.

Secondly, the Left have been trying to normalize pedophilia for at least the last century. They've published thousands of openly or tacitly pro-pedophile articles and have been sexualizing kids in media for god knows how long.

Finally, both teachers and the rainbow contingent were already responsible for astronomical amounts of child rape per capita BEFORE they started indoctrinating children with this pedophile ideology.

Even if you discount all of the above, indoctrinating kids into the rainbow agenda is the definition of grooming. They are sexualizing children, which primes them for sexual abuse. It's not like they're teaching them about the biological impact of puberty. They're teaching them about sodomy and dildos.

And even if you discount that too, then it's still intellectual grooming into a harmful ideology and harmful behaviors, like a drug dealer grooming kids into buying fentanyl.
Funny!

But about the "never made a mistake" I would point you to the intro video that plays if you go to my YouTube channel!

People with YouTube channels may have noticed some quite savage suppression in the algo at the moment. People who watch YouTube may have noticed that their home page is messed-up with YouTube suggesting random pop culture content and music over more politically minded people.

I've seen this before a few times, at the beginning of the Covid saga and during the American election and now we have it again, because of the situation in Ukraine. When the system is feeling under stress or dealing with a crisis it uses the algorithm to boost feel-good and banal content while suppressing the wrong political or cultural commentary.

In other words they've taken it upon themselves to regulate the amount of Soma being dished out to the masses.
I feel passionate about fighting the black pill.

We have hope that we will restore our heritage.

In fact, we will go beyond it because you never really go back, you go forward to something higher.
