Data Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities
1. Identify, gather, and analyze data to evaluate investment assets such as funds, private equity, and stocks. Develop presentations to present findings to stakeholders.
2. Maintain and enhance the asset database for all asset classes and instruments. Recommend the shortlisted assets ad-hoc.
3. Support the maintenance and development of investment strategies. Assist in data collection, auditing, monitoring of current portfolios and strategies, and research / propose new investment strategies.
4. Lead and maintain the reporting function by updating consolidation reports, developing investment proposals for prospects, maintaining current investments dashboards, etc.
5. Support marketing such as creating newsletters, following-up with clients on latest products, etc.
Qualifications
1. A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated experience or interest in investments and financial markets.
3. Self-starter, independent, and goal oriented individual. Full commitment to delivering high quality results and willingness to continuously learn new skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. PowerBI knowledge is a big plus.
5. Strong analytical and quantitative skills including analyzing large datasets, building data models, etc. Knowledge of Python or willingness to learn is a big plus.
6. Tech-savviness and willingness to implement and use tools that automate recurrent processes.
7. Proficiency with Bloomberg is a plus.
8. Fluency in English.
