Job description

We are seeking 5 skilled and motivated MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineers (1 senior engineer 8 years of experience and 4 mid level engineers 3-4 years of experience) to join our data center call center team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the operation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in data centers in the USA. This role requires effective communication with clients and collaborators, ensuring that all engineering investigation of faults and alarms and help he operation team in identifying the related responsible parties, get on call with them and assist until the problem is resolved with best practices and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

A. Coverage
Availability: 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including holidays.
Support Channels: phone, email, and remote access (Teams, VPN, or site systems).
Response Types:
Level 1: Advisory support for operations staff (guidance on alarms, SOP/EOP procedures).
Level 2: Remote technical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Level 3: Vendor escalation, controls adjustments, and sequence-of-operations verification.


B. Systems Covered
Electrical: UPS, PDU, switchgear, ATS, generator controls.
Mechanical: CRAH/CRAC, chiller plants, pumps, VFDs, valves.
Controls: BMS, EPMS, PLCs, networked control systems.
Environmental: Sensors, monitoring systems, leak detection, etc.


C. Responsibilities
Provide on-call engineer within 15 minutes of contact for initial triage.
Review control sequences, Basis of Design (BOD), and as-built documentation to advise on safe operation.
Support field teams during alarm or system faults, verifying proper sequence of operations.
Directly contact OEM or service vendors on behalf of the operator when deeper diagnostics or field dispatch are required.
Assist with OEM Return Material Authorization (RMA) and warranty processes, including:
Verifying eligibility and coverage of failed components.
Providing supporting documentation (logs, fault data, photos).
Coordinating with OEM representatives for replacement or repair approval.
Tracking status and ensuring timely closure of RMA cases.
Maintain escalation log: issue description, time received, response actions, vendor contacts, resolution.
Participate in root-cause analysis reports for critical incidents.
Advise on procedural or controls modifications post-incident.


Qualifications

1- Senior Engineer: 8 years of experience. Engineering degree. Experience in BMS/EPMS/facility management/systems troubleshooting and resolution/operations management
2- mid level Engineer: 3-4 years of experience. Engineering degree. Experience in BMS/EPMS/facility management/systems troubleshooting and resolution/operations management
