The RLC encourages all Republicans to fight for the principles of liberty and unite behind President Trump. Per our bylaws, this endorsement passed a majority vote by our national board, and was approved by over 2/3 of our active state chapters.

Vote Yes on Prop 135!

Proposition 135 is an important measure to limit the Governor’s emergency powers. It automatically terminates emergency declarations after 30 days, unless the legislature extends it. Current law allows emergency declarations to last 120 days before the legislature can act.

All across the country, we’ve seen Governors abuse their emergency powers and violate our constitutional rights, all under the guise of a public health “emergency.” We must impose limits on the Governor’s emergency powers.

We must pass Prop 135 to put this limitation into the Arizona Constitution, where it will be safeguarded from future politicians who may want to take our liberties. In short, Prop 135 allows the people, through their Representatives, to protect their liberties from tyrannical executive actions.

We urge all Arizonans to vote yes on Prop 135.

Principled leadership matters. Sen. Warren Petersen is one of the few legislators the RLC-AZ has scored on all eight of our scorecards. He is leaving the Arizona Legislature with a 95%. Under his leadership, the scores of the entire Senate Republican caucus have been higher. Sen. Petersen's commitment to principled governance is why the RLC-AZ has endorsed him to be our next Attorney General. In honor of his exemplary track record, we have issued Sen. Petersen our first Legislative Achivement award.

Principled leadership matters. Rep. Rachel Keshel has a lifetime score of 92% highlighting her commitment to liberty. This year, she was our highest scorer in the Arizona House with a 99%. The RLC-AZ awarded Rep. Keshel the 2026 Champion of Liberty award for the best voting record in the Arizona House this year.
