🇮🇹 An illegal Iraqi migrant attempted to kidnap a 5-month-old baby boy right out of his baby seat in the Italian city of Latina.

The mother fought for her child's life and screamed before the father pinned him down.

"I realized that he really wanted to do a terrible thing," said the father.

The mayor of the city, Matilda Celentano, said she was "deeply shocked... Latina must be and will remain a city where families can feel safe."

This all comes less than a month after a Romanian migrant attempted to kidnap a one-and-a-half-year-old girl at the entrance of a supermarket in Bergamo, Italy.

In Italy, 38% of arrests and reports related to kidnapping involved foreign nationals — a group that represents just 9% of Italy’s resident population.

Europeans are importing a child kidnapping crisis, as evidenced by these statistics.
