This picture shows 6 young men of the Panzergrenadier of the SS-Armored Division Hitlerjugend lined up to be awarded with the Iron Cross.

The SS-Armored Division Hitlerjugend became a division in 1943. It enlisted its soldiers from the youth wing fraction of the NSDAP, the "Hitlerjugend".

Some of these soldiers have been reported to be up to 15 years young, showing an incredible ideological conviction from young age.

On June 2nd, I encourage everyone to participate in a Decoration Day ceremony. Engage in reflection or demonstration commemorating Canada's fallen in the same manner as our ancestors. Take time to remember those who fell at Ridgeway, Red River, and Paardeberg.

This past weekend, Second Sons Canada club President visited the Québec division for some sparring and social time.

Today we celebrate Victoria Day/La Fête des Patriotes, that since 1845, has served as a common celebration for English and French Canadians alike.

The French and English civilizations led the world in human achievements for centuries and their respective accomplishments are unmatched in history.

Once thought impossible, the union of these legendary peoples is the foundational cornerstone of Canada, and their spirit in our blood is why we will always possess the innate ability for greatness. Never forget this.

ON THIS DAY, we honour Queen Victoria, Mother of the Dominion, and heroic Dollard des Ormeaux, who gave his life defending Canada at Long Sault. Happy Victoria Day!
