Now, I’m as liberal as the next person and I absolutely support free speech, but this kind of repugnant blood libel is exactly why we need to be having some serious conversations about how far the right to free speech ought to go. We can’t have deranged fascists running around our society fomenting genocidal violence by spouting extremist rhetoric like “Don’t drop bombs on babies” and “It’s wrong to intentionally assassinate journalists.”

It makes me feel unsafe when people say such things, because I do not agree with the things they are saying. And, as we all know, the universe revolves around me and how my feelings feel. I therefore fear we have reached an unfortunate juncture in our society where we’ve no choice but to censor the internet, prohibit pro-Palestine demonstrations, ban TikTok, and make it illegal to be a Zoomer. The only alternative is to allow horrifying radicalization like what we just witnessed here to continue.

Chaotic Scene at White House: Zelensky Pledges "Victory" in Ukraine as Biden Tells Reporters to “Hush Up, OK?!"

Simply judging by the somewhat chaotic scene of Zelensky at the White House, the Ukrainian leader is no longer the star of the show as he was in the war's first year. The press primarily peppered Biden with questions.

Even Biden's words struck a more dour tone than previous meetings with Zelensky: "I don’t want you giving up hope," the US President told Zelensky. "We’re going to stay at your side." This after Zelensky dubiously tried to push a message of "Ukraine can win"—a narrative which as the Financial Times noted Ukrainian citizens themselves are in increasing disbelief of. Biden still gave out another $200 million of what's left before DoD funding runs dry for the year.

“Hush up, OK?! I got one more thing to say. I’ve just signed another $200 million drawdown from the Department of Defense for Ukraine," Biden told reporters.

The powers that shouldn’t be know exactly how to push our buttons and pull our strings. They know how to distract ... how to make us think our ideas are our own....

These organized criminals direct more of our lives than any of us could ever begin to imagine...

While this isn’t a particularly positive realization, it can be a useful lens to look through while watching events unfold, perusing social media, reading the news, and critically observing our own feelings and actions...

Stay vigilant. Simply having an awareness that an incredible amount of what we see around us is most likely controlled is better than not.

WEF Likens “Misinformation” To A Cybersecurity Issue In Calls For More Action

According to a recent study by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and allied organizations, cybersecurity concerns are taking on new dimensions. Misinformation and disinformation disseminated via the internet are now being framed as key challenges in ensuring “cybersecurity.” The troubling report was launched on December 5 and designated as “Cybersecurity Futures 2030: New Foundations.”

The study postulates the future of cybersecurity lies rather in safeguarding the integrity and source of data. This introduces a novel perspective on the significance of locating and quashing fabricated information, cynically tagged as “mis”- or “dis-information” held in the cybersecurity domain.

Various international conferences, both virtual and geo-located, were instrumental in shaping the insights of the study. Sessions held across the world, in conjunction with an online gathering inviting participants across Europe, were supposedly catalysts in outlining the futuristic, hypothetical scenarios catapulting cybersecurity to 2030.

September Flashback - Newsweek: Nearly 90 Percent of the World Isn't Following US on Ukraine

Our familiar system of global political and economic alliances is shifting, and nothing has made this change clearer than the varied reactions to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. While the United States and its closest allies in Europe and Asia have imposed tough economic sanctions on Moscow, 87% of the world's population has declined to follow us.

Economic sanctions have united our adversaries in shared resistance. Less predictably[entirely predictable as I predicted it in March of 22'], the outbreak of Cold War II, has also led countries that were once partners or non-aligned to become increasingly multi-aligned.

Nowhere is the shift more apparent than in energy markets where, unlike with currencies, governments cannot simply print what they need. Here the web of sanctions becomes a sieve.

March 2022 Flashback: US Hegemony Threatened As Saudis, UAE, India Ignore Threats of Sanctions, Turn to Russia/China

Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and India appear to be distancing from western powers as they expand their relations with Russia and China

....this development by Aramco is parallel and connected with the Saudi’s recent consideration of breaking away from the petrodollar standard and accepting the Yuan. In the face of shifting allegiances, and defiance of US expectations, the future of geopolitical relations is uncertain, although the trend paints a picture of the US losing allies as Russia and China gain momentum.

....Conclusion

The AIIB and BRICS will likely play a large role in the new economic world order discussed in my last publication from a week ago. The AIIB already has half of NATO signed on, and is gaining traction with the Silk Road Belt and Road initiative. China is this year’s BRICS summit leader, for the 14th summit. BRICS members South Africa and India have remained relatively neutral, although in this author’s opinion they are looking to cozy up with the Russia/China axis and its emerging economic network as they realize that their neutrality makes them out to be an apparent enemy of the US and the NATO alliance — judging by the threats of sanctions by the latter. The same goes for the gulf states, although they are not BRICS.

...India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Africa, and others yet to be as entangled, could simply be biding their time as they seek a smooth transition. While India and the Gulf have been scolded and threatened by the US for continuing to trade with Russia, many countries on the peripheral, such as Germany, continue importing Russian oil.

As Saudi Arabia is seeking to abandon the Petrodollar, India is seeking to phase out the dollar as a reserve currency in trade with Russia (and likely its trade partners such as China in the future), the dollar’s reserve currency status faces a great threat. Saudi Arabia’s departure from the standard it was instrumental in creating could embolden other countries to follow suit. Likewise, as multiple countries bolster relations with Russia and China(Or allies of theirs, such as the UAE meeting with Syrian president Assad), and defy the US’s wishes and implicit or direct threats, this could embolden others to do the same in the future-dismantling US hegemony. We could be witnessing the fall of the US empire, and its reserve currency, coincided by the rise of an emerging power structure and world economic system in which BRICS nations rise as the new dominant power of the globe.
