The context: a Bedouin community of 600 was displaced from the Jordan Valley in January. Settlers moved in during Passover. The site was advertised as "newly cleansed."
When the people who built and ran Israel's security apparatus are using that language, the strategic argument for settlement expansion has a serious problem.
