Netanyahu’s National Security Advisor Says Israel Ready to Act Against Houthis

Tzachi Hanegbi also signaled Israel could launch a war in Lebanon

Israeli National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi said on Saturday that Israel was ready to act against the Houthis in Yemen if the US and its allies do not.

“Israel is giving the world some time to organize in order to prevent this but if there isn’t to be a global arrangement, because it is a global issue, we will act in order to remove this naval siege,” Hanegbi told Israel’s Channel 12.

The Houthis have been targeting Israeli-linked commercial vessels and firing missiles and drones at Israel in response to the Israeli onslaught in Gaza. Hanegbi’s comments came after reports that said the Biden administration told Israel to leave it to the US to take care of the Houthis.

US officials have told POLITICO that the Biden administration is not planning to strike the Houthis, at least for now. The US has backed a Saudi-led coalition in a war against the Houthis since 2015, although a ceasefire has held relatively well since April 2022. Any US attacks on the Houthis could threaten the truce.

For the time being, the US is looking to form an international naval task force to get its allies to help protect commercial shipping in the Red Sea. The Houthis have shown no sign of backing down as they warned they would target any ships that are bound for Israel. On Sunday, the French military said a French frigate shot down two drones in the Red Sea that were fired from Yemen.

Leaked UFO Documents Show Us Officials' 'Mutual Meeting' With Aliens At Crash Site

The documents appear to confirm that the infamous Roswell incident, long thought to be a conspiracy theory, did indeed happen

Leaked US government UFO files appear to confirm that the infamous Roswell incident did indeed happen. The documents also allegedly revealed that US officials met with two aliens at an "official meeting" almost 20 years after the apparent alien crash that saw Roswell, the area in New Mexico where the apparent alien crash took place in 1947, become a byword for extraterrestrial activity.

It is not clear where the documents came from, but they caused a huge stir when uploaded on Reddit. The front page of the files are labeled Project Aquarius and Project Sigma, which are names that the United States government had previously confirmed for projects.

Many of the pages are redacted but on one of the pages that are clear to read, it says that on July 7, 1947 - which is the date that a UFO is said to have crash landed in the town - a “secret operation was begun to assure recover of the wreckage of this object for scientific study."

That's not where the extraterrestrial bombshell revelations end, though. It was later claimed that, on April 25, 1964, US Air Force officials encountered aliens in the New Mexico desert. Known as the Lonnie Zamora incident, a local police officer claims to have seen two people standing beside a luminous object that suddenly rose into the sky.

....the leaked documents, regardless, go into great detail about the apparent encounter. “On April 25, 1964, a USAF intelligence officer met two aliens at a pre-arranged location in the desert in New Mexico," it says as part of Project Sigma.

“The contact lasted for approximately three hours. The Air Force officer managed to exchange basic information with the two aliens. This project is continuing at an Air Force base in New Mexico.”

Civilian proportion of deaths is higher than the average in all world conflicts in 20th century, data suggests

The aerial bombing campaign by Israel in Gaza is the most indiscriminate in terms of civilian casualties in recent years, a study published by an Israeli newspaper has found.

The analysis in Haaretz came as Israeli forces fought to consolidate their control of northern Gaza on Saturday, bombing the Shejaiya district of Gaza City, while also conducting airstrikes on Rafah, a town on the southern border with Egypt where the Israeli army has told people in Gaza to take shelter.

Hamas & Hezbollah "Easily" Obtain Weapons Through Ukraine's Black Market, Iran FM Boasts

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has issued some surprising remarks claiming that Lebanon-based Hezbollah and Gaza-based Hamas can procure more weapons anytime they want utilizing the thriving arms black market in Ukraine. He suggested this is already happening while addressing a conference in Doha Monday.

He went so far as to say these groups, which the US has listed as terror organizations, can "easily" and "without much effort" get whatever they need in Ukraine.

The unusual remarks seem by design a jab and provocation aimed at Washington and its Western allies which have poured billions of dollars in defense aid into Ukraine over the last two years. These same NATO countries also tend to be Israel's biggest funders.

Joining in on trolling the US alliance, Russian state publications in English featured the Iranian top diplomat's words:

"You see, in the past - I wish to be absolutely frank with you - we used to provide all kinds of support to Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad while taking into account [both] international law and the conditions of confronting the occupier (implying Israel - TASS)," Abdollahian said at the Doha Forum, when answering a question about Tehran's support for these organizations.

That's when he said: "If you ask me where they can obtain weapons, then one of the black markets where they can get them is Ukraine." He said this as if suggesting that Tehran doesn't need to offer as much support to the groups at this point, given the immense and ongoing arms proliferation in Eastern Europe.

Abdollahian continued to describe that "Very easily, without much effort they can get whatever [they need] in Ukraine," He additionally said that if necessary, Hezbollah and Hamas currently "can produce the necessary weapons" on their own.

Privacy advocates are raising eyebrows as Professor Fraser Sampson, the former overseer of facial recognition technology in the UK, has joined Facewatch, the private company he previously green-lighted, as a non-executive director. The questionable transition has ignited concerns over a potential mass deployment of biometric surveillance cameras throughout the UK’s high streets and the revolving door between the government and the private sector.

Critics call Sampson’s career move a glaring “conflict of interest,” as he assumed his directorial role at Facewatch right after leaving his public role on October 31. As reported by The Guardian, Sampson joined Facewatch literally the next day, on November 1.

Some argue this swift transition may indicate that Sampson was brokering his Facewatch contract while still holding his public post, an act that could have infringed on his public responsibilities.
