According to Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alpraslan Bayraktar, a long-dormant pipeline project between Turkiye and Qatar could be revived following the collapse of the Assad government, as reported by Anadolu Agency.

Bayraktar said the pipeline could be possible if Syria "achieves its (territorial) integrity and stability."

"If so, that line must be safe" he said adding that "there are many projects to produce."

Turkiye and Qatar have long sought to restore the natural gas pipeline project, which would connect European countries and Turkiye to Qatar through Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria.

The former government in Syria opposed attempts by Qatar and others to restore this pipeline. Many believe this was among the reasons why Arab and western governments decided to support and facilitate efforts to overthrow the government and divide the country.

Dave Smith: If There Is One Lesson That Every Sane Person Should Take From The Last Decade Of American Politics, It’s That You Can’t Just Shriek “Racism” As A Substitute For An Actual Argument. It’s A Despicable Thing To Do And It Doesn’t Work.

When People Have Legitimate Grievances, Calling Them A Bigot Does Not Magically Make Those Grievances Go Away, It Only Makes Those People Angrier People With Legitimate Grievances. Normal People Will See This And Be More Persuaded By The Side That Has A Point Than The Side That Baselessly Smears People.

This is also true when the accusation is antisemitism. People have every right to object to Israel’s horrific treatment of the Palestinian people and the outrageous levels of influence a foreign government has over our domestic politics. If you are genuinely concerned about a rise in hatred of Jews, your number one priority should be to allow people to express these very legitimate grievances. The last thing in the world you would want to do is smear the people, who do not hate Jews but have these grievances, as antisemites.

Calling Candace Owens “antisemite of the year” is a joke. It’s every bit as stupid as woke 20 yr olds calling Ben Shapiro racist for citing crime stats. Even worse, it’s done by non 20 year olds, who claim to understand the lesson I just mentioned about baseless accusations of bigotry. It’s often done by people who have themselves been the victims of these smears.

If you have a problem with views that Candace or anyone else has, here’s a novel idea: You have to actually take on their arguments. Just shrieking “racist” is for pathetic children.
