People’s Arms Embargo’ At Travis Air Force Base
Seventy-five protesters gathered under threatening skies at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California at 6:30 am on Wednesday, November 20. Their mission: to speak out and briefly interrupt the shipment of weapons to Israel from this air base.
For 90 minutes, they showed banners such as “Stop Arms for War Crimes” and “Stop Travis: No US Weapons for Genocide. ” They delayed traffic on the busy six-lane roadway into the base by frequently pressing the button to allow pedestrian crossing. Fliers were handed out to receptive drivers. The flyers asked “Why are we blocking access to Travis Air Base and messing up your day?”. It was explained that while November 20 is World Children’s Day, weapons to Israel from Travis are being used to kill children. Bombs loaded onto planes at Travis and other US air bases have killed many thousands of children.
David Vidmar grew up on Travis Air Base. He said, “I am participating in the People’s Arms Embargo to honor my father as he would have been sickened by the indiscriminate targeting, slaughter and starvation of Gazan children and women in Israel’s genocide.”
In the second stage of the protest, protesters completely blocked the roadways into the base. Ultimately, they shut down all of the entry points to the base before Fairfield police arrived en masse and arrested those blocking the roadway. A total of 28 persons were arrested for blocking the north, south, and main entry gates to Travis AFB.
Some of those arrested were processed in a few hours. Ten persons were still in Solano County Jail six hours after the action. It is not known when they will be released. They include Toby Blome, David Hartsough and others who were organizers of this action.
Many people globally believe the US is violating international law by continuing to provide weapons for what the International Court of Justice describes as “plausible genocide”. One year ago many prominent US State Department and USAID officials criticized the Biden policy of blanket support for Israel. Yet it continues unabated. Today’s action at Travis AFB highlights the discrepancy.

China Has Developed A Surgical Cure For Alzheimers
China successfully invented a surgery for curing Alzheimer’s disease. Known as LVA surgery, it is performned on neck lymphatics. So far, there have been 42 clinical trials, all have been successes.

LVA Surgery, otherewise known as deep cervical lymphatic-venous anastomosis surgery was performed on a 76-year-old man with moderate Alzheimer's disease, his symptoms were significantly improved. The follow-up results two months after the operation showed that the old man not only had a significant recovery in memory, but also could communicate normally with others.

The theoretical basis of deep cervical lymphatic-venous anastomosis is the abnormal accumulation of Aβ-amyloid protein and abnormal phosphorylation of tau protein in the brain, which are two important causes of Alzheimer's disease

The operation uses super microsurgery technology to shunt the lymphatic circulation in the meninges, accelerate the return of intracerebral lymph through the jugular foramen at the skull base, and take away more metabolic products in the brain, thereby achieving the goal of possibly reversing brain degenerative lesions and slowing the progression of the disease.

It can be simply understood as a mechanical excretion process. The abnormal accumulation of amyloid protein in the elderly's brain is like a clogged sewer, and the "waste" cannot be transported out in time. The deep cervical lymphatic-venous anastomosis can greatly speed up the removal of "waste" and improve the removal efficiency.

On the morning of November 11, Professor Tang Juyu, director of the Microsurgery Reconstruction Clinical Research Center of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, had just completed the 42nd deep cervical lymphatic-venous anastomosis in the hospital. Because it was a minimally invasive surgery, the patient could get out of bed and move around the next day.

Among these 42 patients, in addition to restoring their memories, Tang Juyu also saw that patients who were originally indifferent and taciturn could communicate with him in a cheerful and talkative manner during the follow-up visit after the operation.

Although many patients have significant symptom improvement after surgery, experts believe that this surgery can only provide a new idea for the current treatment of Alzheimer's disease, and its specific effectiveness still needs more research to confirm.

One of the very few good things coming out of the relentless nightmare happening in Gaza is that at long last the western world is getting a clear look at Israel. The real Israel.
Not the Israel they teach you about in school. Not “the only democracy in the middle east,” where Jews were given safe haven after their victimization at the hands of the Nazis and managed to create a thriving society despite existing in a sea of savage enemies bent on their destruction.
Not that Israel. The real one. Arguably the most racist society on earth, whose existence has depended on nonstop violence, theft, tyranny and abuse since its very inception.
The real Israel, whose government is deliberately and methodically starving Palestinian civilians to death by the tens of thousands just for being the wrong ethnicity.
The real Israel, whose snipers routinely murders Palestinian children by shooting them in the head.
The real Israel, whose military is so sadistic that it created an AI system to specifically target suspected Hamas fighters when they are at home with their families, and called the AI “Where’s Daddy?” because it would be killing fathers when they are at home with their children.
The real Israel, whose soldiers cannot stop posting footage of themselves mockingly dressed in the undergarments of dead and displaced Palestinian women and playing with the toys of dead and displaced Palestinian children.
The real Israel, where Palestinian doctors are raped and tortured to death.

The real Israel, who has damaged or destroyed 94 percent of the healthcare facilities in Gaza with hundreds of targeted attacks.
The real Israel, whose military forces target medical staff so methodically that doctors and nurses in Gaza reportedly change out of their uniforms when they leave the hospital in order to avoid assassination.
The real Israel, who hates truth so much that it has been killing historic numbers of journalists in Gaza while preventing foreign journalists from entering the enclave.
The real Israel, who has been knowingly attacking the locations of humanitarian aid workers.
The real Israel, whose citizens are so warped and twisted that they attend boat tours to cheerfully witness the devastation in the Gaza Strip.
The real Israel, whose citizens set up blockades to prevent aid trucks from getting to starving civilians in Gaza while they enjoy barbecues and set up bouncy castles and cotton candy machines for their children.
The real Israel, whose TikTok influencers started a viral trend mocking the suffering of civilians in Gaza.
The real Israel, whose citizens will travel to another country and tear down Palestinian flags and sing about how there are no children left in Gaza and then cry victim when people fight back.
This is the real Israel, in all its glory. And it is good that it is being seen.
The sooner everyone stops supporting this freakish, murderous society and begins insisting that normal human values win out over the demented forces which keep it going, the sooner there can be peace in the region. And the better off our entire species will be.

UN Envoy: Israel’s Attack On Syria’s Palmyra May Be Deadliest Yet
Death toll continues to soar in airstrikes, at least 82 reported slain
Yesterday, Israel attacked the ancien t Syrian city of Palmyra. The initial death toll was 36, making it already one of the deadliest strikes in years. That toll has only continued to soar as rescue efforts continue, however, and the latest figure is at least 82 were killed .
Details still aren’t totally clear on the matter. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claimed that 53 Syrians were among the slain, along with dozens of foreign nationals. They said that the slain were linked to Iraq’s al-Nujaba Movement, a Shi’ite paramilitary group.
Whatever the case, UN deputy special envoy to Syria Najat Rochdi told the UN Security Council that this is likely the deadliest single Israeli attack on Syria in history. Rochdi was testifying about the escalation of Israeli attacks on Syrian soil, which have also spiked this month.
Israel has a long history of attacking Syria, and there are several hundred incidents in the past several years. In January 2021, Israel attacked military positions along the Syria-Iraq border, killing 57 people.
This attack though is deadly to the point that there is no obvious incident in Israel’s long history of attacking Syria that would have a higher toll. That this is just one of several attacks not part of any specific war only adds to the concern about the escalation.

A new report from Britain's Sky News provides details of Adnan al-Bursh's death by torture in Israel's Ofer Prison
A Sky News investigation published on 16 November has revealed new details surrounding Israel's torture and murder of the famous Palestinian surgeon from Gaza, Adnan al-Bursh, at Ofer Prison in the occupied Palestinian West Bank last May.
A fellow Palestinian prisoner at Ofer told the British news channel that Israeli guards severely tortured Dr Bursh and then left him to die alone, naked from the waist down, in the prison yard.
The prisoner, who previously knew the doctor in Gaza, provided the new details in a deposition to lawyers from HaMoked, an Israeli human rights organization.
“In mid-April 2024, Dr Adnan Al-Bursh arrived at Section 23 in Ofer Prison. The prison guards brought Dr Adnan Al-Bursh into the section in a deplorable state. He had clearly been assaulted with injuries around his body. He was naked in the lower part of his body,” the prisoner's deposition states.
“The prison guards threw him in the middle of the yard and left him there. Dr Adnan Al-Bursh was unable to stand up. One of the prisoners helped him and accompanied him to one of the rooms. A few minutes later, prisoners were heard screaming from the room they went into, declaring Dr Adnan Al-Bursh (was dead).”

Report: US And European Officials Discussed Giving Ukraine Nuclear Weapons
Western officials are less concerned that Russian President Vladimir Putin will escalate the conflict before Donald Trump takes office
According to the New York Times , US and European officials have discussed a range of options they believe will deter Russia from taking more Ukrainian territory, including providing Kiev with nuclear weapons. The outlet reports that Western officials believe the Kremlin will not significantly escalate the war before Donald Trump is sworn in as President in January.
American officials who were briefed on the intelligence community’s assessments told the Times that weapons will not alter the challenging situation that Kiev is currently facing. “US spy agencies have assessed that speeding up the provisions of weapons, ammunition and matériel for Ukraine will do little to change the course of the war in the short term,” the Times reports.
Desperate to bolster Ukraine’s standing in the war before the transition of power on January 20, the Biden administration is looking at a range of serious escalations. “US and European officials are discussing deterrence as a possible security guarantee for Ukraine, such as stockpiling a conventional arsenal sufficient to strike a punishing blow if Russia violates a cease-fire.” The article continues, “Several officials even suggested that Mr. Biden could return nuclear weapons to Ukraine that were taken from it after the fall of the Soviet Union.”
According to some officials who spoke with the Times , the administration believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin won’t significantly escalate the war until Trump returns to the Oval Office.
“But the escalation risk of allowing Ukraine to strike Russia with US-supplied weaponry has diminished with the election of Mr. Trump,” adding,” Biden administration officials believe, calculating that Putin of Russia knows he has to wait only two months for the new administration.”
