As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political career is in peril due to his failure to prevent the October 7 Hamas attack on southern Israel, the Israeli leader has been meeting with members of his Likud party to ensure continued support.

According to Israeli media, in these meetings, Netanyahu has sold himself as the only one who can prevent the creation of a Palestinian state and stand up to pressure from the Americans.

“I am the only one who will prevent a Palestinian state in Gaza and [the West Bank] after the war,” Netanyahu told Likud lawmakers, according to Israel’s Kan public broadcaster.

Netanyahu has come under fire from his political opponents over his previous strategy of helping prop up Hamas to prevent a Palestinian state. In a now-infamous quote from 2019, Netanyahu said anyone “who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas and transferring money to Hamas.”

Trudeau Supports Partnership With EU For Digital ID Push, Suggests it Will Help Curb Online “Disinformation”

Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, a proponent of centralized control, has finalized a controversial collaborative digital partnership with the European Union. This agreement exhibits full commitment to the introduction of a digital identity system in Canada and the government is pursuing it, in part, under the guise of fighting online “disinformation.”

The Trudeau government’s announcement delineates the terms of the Canada-EU Digital Partnership, which aims not only to institute digital credentials for Canadians but also to bolster cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

The contentious partnership insists on a joint effort from Canada and the EU to bolster their respective bilateral and multilateral cooperation in forums like the G7 and the G20.

“The Digital Partnership will allow Canada and the EU to have a stronger common voice in multilateral fora, where appropriate, and bring jointly developed solutions to international partners and advance our joint strategic priorities,” the announcement states.

The G20, an influential conglomerate of the globe’s 19 major countries and the EU, has previously encouraged exploring the creation of “digital public infrastructure,” including potential digital identification systems and perhaps even a centralized digital currency.

Israel claims that the baby crib presented to Elon Musk during his visit to the kibbutzim in the Gaza Envelope was "caught in the middle of a Hamas attack with a child inside."

After analyzing the footage, the Turkish Communications Center for Combating Disinformation determined not only that the crib showed no signs of damage, but also that the shell casings allegedly fired by Qassam fighters were not in the crib when the governor of New Jersey visited on 12 November.

Furthermore, the shell casings are 7.62x51 ammunition from the MG3, a Merkava machine gun. This aligns with previous recent reports that show that Israeli forces fired on the kibbutzim themselves on 7 October, leading to the wide scale devastation caused in the settlements.

Negotiations Underway in Qatar to Extend Gaza Truce

Al Jazeera reports a few day extension is likely

Intense negotiations are underway in Qatar aimed at extending the truce between Israel and Hamas that’s due to expire on Thursday.

The initial four-day truce began on Friday and was extended another two days. Despite reports of minor clashes, the pause in fighting has held relatively well, and the two sides were expected to swap more prisoners last Wednesday.

According to Al Jazeera, the current negotiations being mediated by Qatar are focused on how long the truce will be extended and how many hostages and prisoners will be released. The temporary ceasefire will likely be extended for another few days, but a lasting deal is not expected as Israel continues to vow to continue its military operations.

“After this phase of returning our abductees is exhausted, will Israel return to fighting? So my answer is an unequivocal yes,” Netanyahu said on Wednesday. “There is no way we are not going back to fighting until the end.” Previous reports have said the longest Israel is willing to pause the war is 10 days.

Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and India appear to be distancing from western powers as they expand their relations with Russia and China

....this development by Aramco is parallel and connected with the Saudi’s recent consideration of breaking away from the petrodollar standard and accepting the Yuan. In the face of shifting allegiances, and defiance of US expectations, the future of geopolitical relations is uncertain, although the trend paints a picture of the US losing allies as Russia and China gain momentum.

The AIIB and BRICS will likely play a large role in the new economic world order discussed in my last publication from a week ago. The AIIB already has half of NATO signed on, and is gaining traction with the Silk Road Belt and Road initiative. China is this year’s BRICS summit leader, for the 14th summit. BRICS members South Africa and India have remained relatively neutral, although in this author’s opinion they are looking to cozy up with the Russia/China axis and its emerging economic network as they realize that their neutrality makes them out to be an apparent enemy of the US and the NATO alliance — judging by the threats of sanctions by the latter. The same goes for the gulf states, although they are not BRICS.

...India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Africa, and others yet to be as entangled, could simply be biding their time as they seek a smooth transition. While India and the Gulf have been scolded and threatened by the US for continuing to trade with Russia, many countries on the peripheral, such as Germany, continue importing Russian oil.

As Saudi Arabia is seeking to abandon the Petrodollar, India is seeking to phase out the dollar as a reserve currency in trade with Russia (and likely its trade partners such as China in the future), the dollar’s reserve currency status faces a great threat. Saudi Arabia’s departure from the standard it was instrumental in creating could embolden other countries to follow suit. Likewise, as multiple countries bolster relations with Russia and China(Or allies of theirs, such as the UAE meeting with Syrian president Assad), and defy the US’s wishes and implicit or direct threats, this could embolden others to do the same in the future-dismantling US hegemony. We could be witnessing the fall of the US empire, and its reserve currency, coincided by the rise of an emerging power structure and world economic system in which BRICS nations rise as the new dominant power of the globe.

US Government Officials Sought To Censor Narratives and Interfere In 2020 Election, Newly Released Emails Show

Department of Homeland Security officials and contractors urged censorship not just of “disinformation” but of stories they didn’t like

Yesterday Public and Racket published the first installment of the CTIL Files, documents that show the birth of the Censorship Industrial Complex through the work of military and government contractors in what they called the “Cyber Threat Intelligence League,” or CTIL, for short. The story went viral on X, formerly Twitter, and on Substack. All told, the story has been viewed millions of times.

Now, newly released Department of Homeland Security (DHS) emails, obtained by the House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green and Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Accountability Chairman Dan Bishop, suggest that the federal government’s methods of information control closely resembled those developed and promoted by CTIL. These methods amounted to an attempt at election interference.

The trove of documents obtained by Public provides a window into the real motivations behind anti-disinformation work performed by DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Far from being about protecting truth and removing falsehoods, government-backed censorship has always been about narrative control. This censorship is part of a larger political influence operation to shape public opinion and quash dissent.

US government officials deny this. In his deposition for the Missouri v. Biden censorship lawsuit, Brian Scully, the head of CISA’s Mis- Dis-, and Malinformation (MDM) team, insisted that the agency had merely engaged in “switchboarding,” not censorship. Switchboarding was a process in which CISA simply forwarded “misinformation” from election officials to social media companies. Scully and CISA claim they were not involved in companies’ decisions to censor content.

The CISA-funded non-profit, Center for Internet Security (CIS), also sent alleged misinformation to social media companies. CIS has previously claimed that its definition of election mis- and disinformation did not include “content that is polarizing, biased, partisan or contains viewpoints expressed about elections or politics,” “inaccurate statements about an elected or appointed official, candidate, or political party,” or “broad, non-specific statements about the integrity of elections or civic processes that do not reference a specific current election administration activity.”

But the DHS emails reveal that CISA and CIS did, in fact, consider such content to be subject to censorship. The emails show that CISA and its non-profit partners reported political speech to social media companies, including jokes, hyperbole, and the types of “viewpoints” and “non-specific statements” that CIS once claimed it would not censor.

Using the pretext of “election security,” DHS sought to censor politically inconvenient speech about election legitimacy. Why were officials seemingly influenced by CTIL’s approach to disfavored narratives and “cognitive security”? What precisely was going on?

Apr. 3rd, 2020 - Henry Kissinger published a piece titled “The Coronavirus Pandemic Will Forever Alter the World Order” that warned governments that maintaining public trust in institutions would be a challenge, and that how well the government responds to the crisis would be integral to how the public perceives governments in the post-pandemic world.

..To summarize Henry Kissinger’s advice for American policy in April of 2020:

1. Develop new experimental products , and “commensurate vaccines across large populations"

2. Lockdowns for businesses and schools are necessary, but will further hurt economy. Maybe the government imposing the lockdowns can bail people out

3. Individuals can’t survive on own, they need “security” and “order” for their own good, even if its despotic because it’ll be for “economic well being” and “justice”.

The notorious statesman would go on to conclude by essentially saying that the world’s elite need to pick their battles and put their geopolitical and ideological differences aside in order to overcome Covid :

”The world’s democracies need to defend and sustain their Enlightenment values [defined as security, order, economic well-being, and justice]. A global retreat from balancing power with legitimacy will cause the social contract to disintegrate both domestically and internationally. Yet this millennial issue of legitimacy and power cannot be settled simultaneously with the effort to overcome the Covid-19 plague...”

On April 9th of 2020, the Hill ran the headline: “Kissinger’s Post-Pandemic World Order and the Demise of the Chinese Communist Partyt”.

"In his two recent books, “On China” and “World Order,” Kissinger describes the geopolitical dynamics of the past half-century. He sees the changes as having laid the groundwork for a massive shift in world influence from the United States and the West to the People’s Republic of China.

It is a revolutionary transition that he played a major, if not dominant, part in arranging as an adviser to eight U.S. presidents and, simultaneously, to five supreme leaders of Communist China…
