🚨🚨Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu Confirms He Was Behind Deadly Pager Attacks Against Hezbollah, Faced ‘Opposition’

...Netanyahu approved the deadly exploding pager attacks on the Hezbollah terror group back in September, his office said for the first time Monday.

A spokesperson for Netanyahu’s office confirmed that the Israeli leader gave the signoff after he claimed responsibility for the Sept. 17 massacre during a closed-door cabinet meeting, the Times of Israel reported .

Netanyahu had told ministers that senior defense officials and political figures had tried to oppose the detonation of the thousands of weaponized pagers across Lebanon but that he went ahead with the operation anyway.

“The pager operation and the elimination of [Hezbollah leader Hassan] Nasrallah were carried out despite the opposition of senior officials in the defense establishment and those responsible for them in the political echelon,” Netanyahu reportedly said during the meeting.

Trump announced new major appointments in his future administration.

The Pentagon will be headed by Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran and Fox News host Pete Hegseth, and the CIA will be led by former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe.

Two billionaires who supported Trump, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, also received posts. They will jointly lead the new US Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE).

“Together, these two great Americans will pave the way for my administration to eliminate government bureaucracy, reduce excess regulation, reduce wasteful spending and restructure federal agencies, which are essential to the Save America movement,” Trump said in a statement.

Interestingly, the abbreviation of the new department - DOGE - is a reference to the name of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, which is promoted by Elon Musk.

Trump said in a statement that the new entity will "work with the White House and the Office of the Budget to implement large-scale structural reforms."

Ramaswamy was a Republican presidential candidate and during the election campaign he harshly criticized American aid to Ukraine, calling for an end to the war as soon as possible. So does Musk.

Smotrich Says Trump Victory Gives Israel ‘Opportunity’ To Annex West Bank

David Friedman, who may return as Trump's envoy to Israel, published a book calling for the US to fund the Israeli annexation of the West Bank

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said Monday that Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election provides an “important opportunity” for Israel to annex settlements in the occupied West Bank.

“The year 2025 will be, with God’s help, the year of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria,” Smotrich said, using the biblical name for the West Bank.

The Israeli minister said he had “no doubt that President Trump, who showed courage and determination in his decisions in the first term, will support the State of Israel in this move.”

Smotrich listed steps Trump took to support Israel during his first term in office, including moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights, and declaring that illegal Israeli settlements were consistent with international law.

Smotrich, a settler himself, also holds a position in the Defense Ministry that puts him in charge of settlement expansion in the West Bank. In that post, Smotrich has overseen significant settlement expansion and the single largest Israeli land grab in the West Bank in 30 years.

ISRAEL EXPANDS WAR ON LEBANON

These Are the Criminal Allegations Involving Prime Minister Netanyahu's Office

The Israeli Prime Minister's Office is facing three investigations: Accusations of blackmail, manipulation of minutes of meetings early in the Gaza war, and intelligence leaks. Are they connected? Is Netanyahu at risk? Haaretz breaks down the probes, the suspicions and the alleged perpetrators

The Israeli Prime Minister's Office is currently the focus of three investigations concerning its conduct on matters related to the current war that raise suspicions of criminal activity.

The first probe regards the allegation that the PMO tried to amend minutes of official discussions held since the war erupted. The second involves one or more PMO officials who allegedly blackmailed an IDF officer to obtain access to sensitive documents. And the third probe, leading to the arrest of a former Netanyahu spokesperson, concerns the suspicion that the PMO leaked sensitive intelligence that may have seriously harmed national security. Here, we explain each affair in greater detail and how they are all directly or indirectly connected to one another.

What is the manipulation of the minutes affair?

For several months, the police have been investigating a suspicion that PMO officials tried to manipulate the minutes of cabinet discussions held during the war, as well as the transcripts of phone calls held by decision-makers, including Netanyahu, in the war's first days.

On Sunday, Yediot Ahronot reported that changes were also allegedly made to the minutes of a cabinet discussion about Israel's preparations for hearings at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. To date, no one has been questioned as a suspect in involvement in manipulating the minutes.

The suspicions arose after Netanyahu's former military secretary, Avi Gil, contacted Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara over six months ago. According to a report in Yediot Ahronot, Gil did so after PMO officials alerted him that colleagues had tried to tamper with some of the minutes at the end of several classified meetings.

The PMO denied the report, calling it a "total lie, something that never happened."....

This relates to the lawsuit against the military, Shin Bet, and Israeli police by the Nova festival survivors, as the “emergency consultations” are part of the lawsuit as referenced above.

Trump Nominates Rep. Elise Stefanik As Ambassador To UN

Stefanik is a staunch Israel supporter and led the charge smearing college protesters as 'antisemitic'

President-elect Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that he has nominated Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) to be his ambassador to the United Nations, a pick that is a victory for the hawks.

Stefanik is a staunch Israel supporter and Iran hawk who has said there should be no conditions on US military aid to Israel. “There is no excuse for an American president to block aid to Israel,” Stefanik told the Israeli Knesset earlier this year in a speech where she bashed President Biden for delaying a single shipment of 2,000-pound bombs.

Stefanik led the charge against college students protesting against US support for Israel, smearing them as “antisemitic” for opposing Israel’s onslaught in Gaza even though many demonstrators were Jewish themselves.

“I led the charge to expose this moral rot of antisemitism infecting our supposed most elite higher education institutions,” Stefanik told the Israeli Knesset.

Placing Stefanik at the UN is a clear sign that the Trump administration will continue Biden’s policy of covering for Israel at the UN. Stefanik has previously accused the UN of being “antisemitic,” a claim constantly made by Israeli officials.

Trump Picks Tulsi Gabbard For Director Of National Intelligence

Gabbard has opposed US involvement in the Ukraine war since the start of Russia's invasion

President-elect Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he selected former Hawaii Congresswoman Lt. Col. Tulsi Gabbard to be his Director of National Intelligence (DNI).

Gabbard, a member of the National Guard, was in Congress from 2013-2021. A former Democrat, she recently announced she was joining the Republican party and endorsed Trump in his race against Vice President Kamala Harris.

Gabbard has been an opponent of US involvement in the Ukraine war since Russia launched its invasion. “This war and suffering could have easily been avoided if Biden Admin/NATO had simply acknowledged Russia’s legitimate security concerns regarding Ukraine’s becoming a member of NATO, which would mean US/NATO forces right on Russia’s border,” she wrote on X on February 23, 2022.

During a presidential run in 2020, Gabbard made opposing “regime change wars” central to her campaign. She staunchly opposed US involvement in Syria and made a trip to the country in 2017 to go on a fact-finding mission. While in Syria, she met with President Bashar al-Assad, enraging hawks in Washington.

Gabbard also made clear during her campaign that while she opposed regime change wars, she was a hawk when it came to the war on terror. “When it comes to the war against terrorists, I’m a hawk,” she said in 2016 . “When it comes to counterproductive wars of regime change, I’m a dove.”

The UN warned that the amount of aid entering Gaza has plummeted to its lowest level since the start of Israel's ethnic cleansing campaign

The US government has confirmed it will not limit arms shipment to Israel despite worsening famine conditions in Gaza, walking back an official warning issued last month by top officials to “pressure” Tel Aviv into lifting its blockade.

State Department spokesman Vedant Patel told reporters on 12 November that the progress to date must be “supplemented and sustained” but that “we at this time have not made an assessment that the Israelis are in violation of US law” by blocking the entry of food, water, and medicine for two million Palestinians.

“We are not giving Israel a pass,” Patel stressed, adding that “we want to see the totality of the humanitarian situation improve, and we think some of these steps will allow the conditions for that to continue progress.”

According to sources who spoke with Axios reporter Barak Ravid, outgoing State Secretary Anthony Blinken this week chose to continue “to press the Israelis on the issue instead of suspending weapons supplies.”

Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin last month sent a letter to top Israeli officials giving them 30 days “to ensure noncombatants have access to food and other necessities.”
