As Israel looks to disengage from the south of Lebanon after a month of direct battles with Hezbollah, the US embassy has been working around the clock to ignite civil strife inside the country
The US embassy in Lebanon has blocked the establishment of a humanitarian air bridge between Baghdad and Beirut, insisting instead that any humanitarian aid for those displaced by the Israeli war be delivered via Jordan “for inspection first,” according to a report by Lebanese daily Al Akhbar.
Washington reportedly also threatened Lebanon's national airliner, Middle East Airlines (MEA), with sanctions if its planes were used to transport those wounded by Israel's terror attack that caused communication devices to explode across the country.
Furthermore, the US embassy in Lebanon receives a “daily manifesto” of all passengers traveling through Beirut airport from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Tel Aviv is awaiting Tehran's retalitation for its 26 October attack on Iranian radar and anti-aircraft batteries
The Pentagon is sending additional bomber aircraft and Navy warships to West Asia to strengthen the US presence in the region, US officials announced on 1 November.
The AP reported that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered several B-52 Stratofortress bomber aircraft, tanker aircraft, and Navy destroyers to deploy to West Asia, citing four US and defense officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.
The officials stated that an aircraft carrier, the USS Abraham Lincoln, and its warships are preparing to leave the region. The additional bombers and warships are allegedly being sent to fill the gap until a replacement aircraft carrier arrives.
The announcement comes as tensions remain high between Iran and Israel. The Israeli Air Force attacked anti-aircraft batteries and radar sites across Iran on 26 October.
The US has vowed to defend Israel, which is now awaiting Iran’s retaliation.

Israeli intelligence estimates that the Iranian response could be launched from Iraqi territory in the coming days
Washington has warned Tehran that it “won't be able to hold Israel back” if the Islamic Republic retaliates to Tel Aviv’s attack against a number of Iranian military sites last month, US and Israeli officials told Axios on 2 November.
"We told the Iranians: We won't be able to hold Israel back, and we won't be able to make sure that the next attack will be calibrated and targeted as the previous one," the US official told the outlet.
The report claims the message was passed along via Switzerland. Iran and the US have not commented.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei warned on the same day that Israel will receive a “tooth-breaking” response for its actions against the Islamic Republic “and the rest of the resistance front.”
“We will do whatever is necessary in confronting arrogance, whether in terms of military and armament or politically. The Iranian people and officials will never hesitate in facing global arrogance and the criminal apparatus ruling the world order,” the Supreme Leader went on to say.

'Final Distress Call' From Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital As Israel Turns Facility Into Kill Zone
The UN has warned that tens of thousands of Palestinians face 'imminent death' in the north of Gaza due to indiscriminate Israeli attacks on hospitals and shelters and a complete blockade on food and medicine
Officials from Gaza's health ministry on 4 November issued a “final distress call” about the dire situation developing in north Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital, which has been under a violent siege by the Israeli army for the past several weeks.
“Perhaps a last distress call: The occupation forces continue to heavily bombard and destroy Kamal Adwan Hospital, affecting all of its facilities. There are numerous injuries among the medical staff and patients, and the medical teams are unable to move between the hospital departments or save their injured colleagues,” the statement reads.
"It appears that a decision has been made to execute all the staff who refused to evacuate the hospital."
Heavy artillery fire has been hitting the hospital over the past several days, causing injuries to patients and staff, including those in the pediatrics ward and the intensive care unit (ICU).
Doctors told reporters that a four-day-old child was the only survivor of an Israeli attack at the hospital's ICU.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid accused the Prime Minister of carrying out an 'influence operation' against the families of Israelis still held captive in Gaza
Israeli police have arrested a top aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and four others for allegedly leaking classified information to foreign media, court documents released on 3 November revealed. The intelligence allegedly claimed Hamas was planning to smuggle Israeli captives from Gaza to Egypt.
Opposition leaders say the intelligence was leaked to take pressure off Netanyahu to reach a ceasefire deal with Hamas that would bring home the roughly 100 Israeli captives still held by the Palestinian resistance movement. It is estimated that roughly 70 remain alive.
Netanyahu has repeatedly sabotaged ceasefire talks with Hamas since the start of the war on 7 October last year, despite heavy pressure from the families of the captives to reach a deal.
Court documents released on Sunday identified Eliezer Feldstein, an aide to Netanyahu, as one of several people being detained and interrogated over the leak of “classified and sensitive intelligence information.” The names of the other four detained persons have not been cleared for publication by Israel's military censors.
The intelligence was leaked to two foreign media outlets, the Jewish Chronicle in the UK and Bild in Germany, both of which published stories about the leaked intelligence. The Jewish Chronicle later retracted its story.
