Israeli Troops Prevent North Gaza Residents From Returning To Their Homes As Part Of Ethnic Cleansing Plan
Haaretzreports the Israeli military is carrying out a partial 'general's plan' under pressure from Israeli political leadership
The Israeli military is preventing residents of Jabalia in northern Gaza from returning to their homes as part of an ethnic cleansing campaign, Haaretz reported on Wednesday.
The report said the military is blocking the return of approximately 50,000 residents of Jabalia due to pressure from Israeli political leadership. It said the Israeli army acknowledged it’s carrying out a partial implementation of the “general’s plan,” which calls for a complete ethnic cleansing of all areas of Gaza north of the Netzarim Corridor, a strip of land controlled by the Israeli military.
As part of the ethnic cleansing campaign, Israel has cut off virtually all aid deliveries into northern Gaza since the beginning of October, and no aid has reached Jabalia or the areas around it. The Haaretz report said senior Israeli military and Shin Bet officials acknowledged the general’s plan violates international law but are claiming the partial implementation does not, even though it has involved a starvation blockade and large-scale attacks on civilians.
The report said residents of Jabalia “will only be allowed to return after Israeli security control over the area is complete, including designating parts of it demilitarized buffer zones.” However, the general’s plan does not say Palestinians can return to the north once they’re cleansed, and Israeli soldiers have been destroying buildings in Jabalia, so they have nowhere to go back to.
The completion of the general’s plan could pave the way for Jewish settlements in Gaza, an idea favored by many Israeli ministers and members of the Knesset. At a “resettle Gaza” conference held on Monday, May Golan, a member of Netanyahu’s Likud party and the minister for social equality, called for a new “Nakba” in Gaza.

The US embassy in Lebanon has blocked the establishment of a humanitarian air bridge between Baghdad and Beirut, insisting instead that any humanitarian aid for those displaced by the Israeli war be delivered via Jordan “for inspection first,” according to a report by Lebanese daily Al Akhbar.
Washington reportedly also threatened Lebanon's national airliner, Middle East Airlines (MEA), with sanctions if its planes were used to transport those wounded by Israel's terror attack that caused communication devices to explode across the country.
Furthermore, the US embassy in Lebanon receives a “daily manifesto” of all passengers traveling through Beirut airport from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

US Warns Tehran It ‘Can’t Restrain’ Israel If Iran Retaliates: Report
Israeli intelligence estimates that the Iranian response could be launched from Iraqi territory in the coming days
Washington has warned Tehran that it “won't be able to hold Israel back” if the Islamic Republic retaliates to Tel Aviv’s attack against a number of Iranian military sites last month, US and Israeli officials told Axios on 2 November.
"We told the Iranians: We won't be able to hold Israel back, and we won't be able to make sure that the next attack will be calibrated and targeted as the previous one," the US official told the outlet.
The report claims the message was passed along via Switzerland. Iran and the US have not commented.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei warned on the same day that Israel will receive a “tooth-breaking” response for its actions against the Islamic Republic “and the rest of the resistance front.”
“We will do whatever is necessary in confronting arrogance, whether in terms of military and armament or politically. The Iranian people and officials will never hesitate in facing global arrogance and the criminal apparatus ruling the world order,” the Supreme Leader went on to say.

They are called "Orruda 2024", referring to the names of two birds: the Russian eagle (Oryol) and the Indonesian mythical bird Garuda.
The word reflects the countries' intention to conduct the exercises "wing to wing" as they say.
