RAF spy planes have been flying over Gaza since December 2023 to help locate Israeli hostages taken by Hamas

Intelligence gathered by RAF spy planes flying over Gaza could be used as evidence against Israel in The Hague, it is understood.

Surveillance aircraft have carried out almost daily missions over the 25-mile-long Gaza Strip to try to help the Israelis find hostages captured by Hamas on 7 October.

But any video or images the aircraft obtained of suspected war crimes committed by either Israel or Hamas could be handed over to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

“If the ICC came to us and said, we think there has been a war crime in this area and do you have any footage, would the UK government offer that? Yes, absolutely,” a military source told The Times.

An ICC prosecutor sought arrest warrants for Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as his defence minister Yoav Gallant and several Hamas leaders in May - but these have not yet been approved by the court’s judges.

...Between October 2023 and June 2024, the Met Police’s counter-terrorism unit received 158 reports of war crimes relating to the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Recent footage showed a Palestinian teenager being burned alive while attached to an IV drip following an Israeli airstrike on a hospital complex.

Aid workers in Gaza have described daily seeing burned toddlers screaming in pain because there are not enough painkillers and children with severed limbs and their brains exposed after being hit in bombings.

The RAF was said to have been flying over Gaza on the day that Israel killed seven international aid workers who were in a World Central Kitchen convoy.

Report: Shin Bet Warned Of Possible Hamas Assault Hours Before October 7 Attack

Approximately three hours prior to the Hamas’ attack in southern Israel on October 7, Shin Bet warned other elements of the police and security establishment that a potential assault emanating from the besieged Gaza Strip could be imminent.

The Kan public broadcaster and Channel 12 news reported the internal security service sent a “top secret” notification to the National Security Council, Mossad, and police that Israeli SIM cards Shin Bet had previously circulated within the group’s ranks as part of an operation had been activated “in a number of Hamas battalions.” There was no solid quantification of how many SIM cards were activated in the warning, but as the Times of Israel notes each battalion presumably contains hundreds of fighters.

The Shin Bet operation involving the cards was launched to provide an early warning for future Hamas attacks against Israel. The automatically generated alert was sent to situation rooms staffed 24 hours a day, contradicting past police claims about never receiving any warning, per Israeli media....

Israel Kills Four Palestinian Journalists In One Day

The Israeli army recently claimed that several Al Jazeera journalists were members of Palestinian resistance factions

The Israeli army killed four Palestinian journalists in Gaza on 27 October, bringing the number of journalists killed by Israel since the start of the war in the besieged strip up to over 182.

The journalists’ names are Saed Radwan, Hamza Abu Salima, Hanin Baroud, and Nadia al-Sayyed.

Three of them were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Asmaa School in the Al-Shati camp west of Gaza City.

The deaths of Nadia Al-Sayyed and another journalist, Abdul Rahman Al-Tanani, were announced later.

“The number of martyred journalists has risen to 182 journalists, male and female, since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza, after the assassination of journalists: Nadia Imad al-Sayyed, who works with radio stations and media outlets, and Abdul Rahman Samir al-Tanani, who works for the Zaman and Sawt al-Shaab radio stations and several media outlets,” the Government Media Office in Gaza said in a statement.

Earlier, the Government Media Office called on the international community to “deter the occupation and prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes and pressure it to stop the crime of genocide and the crime of assassinating Palestinian journalists.”

Israel has continued to target Palestinian journalists in Gaza.

The Israeli army claimed in a statement [in] October [few days ago] that six Al Jazeera journalists are members of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement. Among them are Anas al-Sharif and Hossam Shabat.

10/25 — Israel Kills Three Lebanese Journalists In 'Intentional Targeted Assassination'

An Israeli strike early Friday targeted a site in south Lebanon where 18 staff members from seven different media organizations were present

Israeli warplanes fired two missiles at a guesthouse used by journalists and staff in southern Lebanon early on 25 October, killing three members of the Al Mayadeen and Al Manar TV media crews and injuring others.

Beirut-based Al Mayadeen network announced the killing of its staff photographer Ghassan Najjar and broadcast engineer Mohammad Reda in the attack.

Hezbollah-affiliated Al Manar TV reported the killing of its cameraman, Wissam Qassem, in the same Israeli strike.

An Al Mayadeen correspondent in southern Lebanon, Fatima Fattouni, confirmed that the strike hit a cluster of houses used by journalists, photographers, and technicians from various TV news channels in the village of Hasbaya.

Fattouni confirmed that the targeting was carried out “by two missiles from a warplane that directly targeted more than one journalistic team.”

Mourners Eulogize Israeli Soldier For His Desire To ‘Take Revenge’ Against Palestinian Women And Children

Shuvael Ben-Natan, a West Bank settler who murdered a Palestinian olive harvester, was killed by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon last week

An Israeli soldier who was killed in Lebanon was fondly remembered at his funeral for his desire to “take revenge” against Palestinian women and children in Gaza, Israeli media has reported.

Shuvael Ben-Natan, a 22-year-old Israeli reservist and West Bank settler, was killed while fighting Hezbollah last week. “You entered Gaza to take revenge — as much as possible. [Against] women, children — everyone you saw. As much as possible. That’s what you wanted,” Ben-Natan’s brother, Uriah Ben-Natan, said at the funeral, according to The Times of Israel .

“May the people of Israel be worthy of pursuing your vengeance – blood vengeance, not revenge by burning homes, trees, and vehicles,” Uriah added.

A soldier delivered a eulogy at the funeral and called Ben-Natan a “goofball” for burning down a house in Gaza. “You were the happiest and biggest goofball in the platoon. We realized this for the first time when you set a house on fire without approval in order to boost morale,” the soldier said.

Another speaker at the funeral fondly recalled when Ben-Natan shot and killed a Palestinian who was harvesting olives with his children in October 2023. “I was so impressed by you,” the speaker said, according to Haaretz . “There were cursed olive harvesters, terrorists, and the pathetic Israel Defense Forces didn’t realize what was happening. You shoot, you talk, you drive them away.”

World Bank Bureaucrats Lost Track Of At Least $24B In Funds Fighting Climate Change: ‘Could Be Twice Or 10 Times More’

Bungling World Bank bureaucrats lost track of at least $24 billion bankrolling the battle against climate change, according to a bombshell report by a left-leaning charity group.

An investigation by Oxfam revealed “poor record-keeping practices” by the DC-based international lender that resulted in anywhere between $24 billion and $41 billion in misplaced funds.

The agency’s audit showed “a lack of traceable spending” over the past seven years — partly because of an oddball accounting practice in which the bank accounts for its climate financing at the time of a project’s approval rather than at the time of project completion, according to the report released last week.

“This is like asking your doctor to assess your diet only by looking at your grocery list, without ever checking what actually ends up in your fridge,” said Kate Donald, the head of Oxfam’s Washington DC office.

A World Bank insider, speaking on condition of anonymity, suggested the figure for the missing money “could be twice or 10 times more.”
