Israeli Tanks Shell Kamal Adwan Hospital In Northern Gaza - 10/24
The hospital director said the ICU was severley damaged by the attack
Israeli tanks shelled the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, on Thursday as patients are dying inside due to shortages caused by a 20-day Israeli siege.
According to Al Jazeera , the hospital’s director, Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, said the Israeli shelling caused “severe damage” to the Intensive Care Unit. Hours before the shelling, he warned the hospital would turn into a “mass grave” and that one patient was dying every hour because of the Israeli siege.
“There is a very large number of wounded people, and we lose at least one person every hour because of the lack of medical supplies and medical staff. Our ambulances can’t transfer wounded people. Those who can arrive by themselves to the hospital receive care. But those who don’t just die in the streets,” Abu Safia said .
Also on Thursday, the Palestinian Civil Defense agency said its rescuers were forced to suspend operations in northern Gaza. “Our work has completely stopped in the northern governorate and the situation has become catastrophic there, and the citizens there are now without humanitarian services,” the agency said.
⭕️Medical Director of currently besieged Kamal Adwan Hospital – Dr. Hussam Abu Safia:
..Abu Safia also told The Associated Press that “some medical staff members have been either killed, arrested, or injured.”
Dr. Mohammed Obeid, an orthopedic surgeon for Doctors Without Borders who is at Kamal Adwan, said on Wednesday that there were 30 people dead inside the hospital and around 130 injured patients.
“There is death in all types and forms in Kamal Adwan Hospital and north Gaza. The bombardment does not stop. The artillery does not stop. The planes do not stop. There is heavy shelling, and the hospital is targeted, too. It just looks like a movie; it does not seem real,” Obeid said.
Kamal Adwan is one of three hospitals in northern Gaza that is still somewhat functioning, and it’s the only one with a specialized neonatal unit for newborns. The Israeli military ordered the evacuation of all three hospitals at the beginning of the month as it started an ethnic cleansing campaign in the north, but the staff refused to abandon their patients.
Israel usually justifies its attacks on Gaza hospitals by claiming Hamas members are present but never offers evidence for its claims. Ninety-nine American healthcare workers who volunteered in Gaza recently said in an open letter to President Biden that none of them ever saw militant activity where they worked.

Hospitals Besieged As 'Disaster' Unfolds In Northern Gaza - 10/24
Israeli forces have continued to expel Palestinians from their homes in northern Gaza and kill those who refuse to leave
Doctors and medical officials at northern Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital warn of a disaster unfolding as Israeli forces continue to intensify their siege and bombing campaign in the northern strip.
“We cannot provide health services to the injured and sick due to the depletion of medical supplies,” said the hospital’s director, Hussam Abu Safiya, on 23 October. “More than 150 injured people inside the hospital are in critical condition, we demand the opening of a safe humanitarian corridor to bring in fuel and medical supplies before it is too late,” he added.
Doctors Without Borders surgeon Dr Mohammad Obeid said on Tuesday that there is “death in all types and forms” across the hospitals and that Kamal Adwan Hospital is under fire.
“The bombardment does not stop. The artillery does not stop. The planes do not stop. There is heavy shelling, and the hospital is targeted too. It just looks like a movie; it does not seem real,” he said...
At the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza’s Beit Lahia, which is also being blockaded by Israeli forces, officials said a patient died due to a lack of oxygen cylinders. “We are unable to go out to bury the dead patient outside the building due to the Israeli siege,” the hospital’s director, Marwan al-Sultan, told AA.
Israel continued on 23 October to forcibly expel Palestinians from their homes in northern Gaza. Videos on social media showed hundreds of displaced civilians walking through the rubble after being forced out of their homes. Footage also showed Israeli bulldozers demolishing homes in the northern city of Jabalia.

Netanyahu’s Allies Demand ‘Military Pressure’ Over Revival Of Gaza Truce Talks
Israel’s premier has approved an Israeli delegation’s trip to discuss ceasefire and exchange efforts with officials in Qatar
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition allies in the National Security and Finance Ministries continue to obstruct ceasefire and exchange negotiations, as a new round of talks is expected to take place in the coming days.
“The formation of the negotiating delegation was not in accordance with the opinion of the members of the Israeli government. The minister opposed sending any delegation on the basis that at the current stage, pressure must be continued on Hamas, especially after the assassination of Sinwar,” Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said on 24 October.
“It is forbidden to give Hamas oxygen,” he added. “[Israel must] continue working against it. This is the safe and correct path that will lead to victory and the return of the kidnapped to their homes, not the path of deals that will allow Hamas to reorganize its forces.”
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also strongly denounced the initiative to revive the negotiations and blasted Qatari involvement in the process.
“I strongly do not support the Prime Minister's decision to approve the Mossad chief's trip to the negotiations,” Smotrich said. “Qatar is an enemy state and supports Hamas and its positions in the negotiations,” he added.
“Negotiations alone will not return the kidnapped soldiers, and continued military pressure on Hamas is the best option, just as our soldiers are doing now in the northern Gaza Strip.”
Washington and Doha announced on Thursday that talks would be held over the weekend in the Qatari capital. Netanyahu’s office announced that night that Mossad chief David Barnea will head to Doha on Sunday for talks on a potential agreement.
According to Egypt’s Al-Qahera News TV, a delegation of Hamas officials has met with an Egyptian security delegation in Cairo to discuss the efforts.
Hebrew news outlet Walla reported this week that Shin Bet head Ronen Bar presented an Egyptian proposal for a temporary ceasefire in exchange for the release of the limited number of Israeli captives.

Pennsylvania Faces Scrutiny Over Secretive Partnership With CISA Amid Free Speech Concerns
Amid concerns raised over possible incursions on free speech, The Federalist’s appeal for a more transparent look into the Pennsylvania Department of State’s partnership with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) , has been met with significant resistance. The State Department has declined to relinquish pertinent documents and correspondence linked to its collaboration with the agency, which has previously been implicated in operations suppressing free expression.
The Federalist had discovered the state’s partnership with CISA, the pro-censorship government organization , a move purposed to counter threats jeopardizing elections, to include what is being deemed as “misinformation.” However, repeated attempts to derive a clearer understanding of what this partnership entails through Pennsylvania’s Right To Know Request (RTKR) have been largely unmet.
The Federalist has lodged an appeal against the state’s decision to keep critical information under wraps, unearthing a similar pattern with House Judiciary Chairman, Jim Jordan. He had earlier in the year pointed out that CISA had failed to meet their subpoena obligations over similar concerns relating to the dubious partnership.

Turkiye Bombs US-Proxies In Northeast Syria Following Ankara 'Terror Attack'
Turkish officials blamed the attack at the state-owned defense company on Kurdish militants affiliated with the PKK
Turkiye conducted several airstrikes and artillery shelling across US-controlled north and east Syria late on 23 October, targeting positions held by the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The attacks targeted several villages and sites in the Syrian provinces of Aleppo, Raqqa, and Hasakah. One of the attacks hit an SDF military outpost in the countryside of the city of Al-Malikiyah, at the Syrian–Turkish–Iraqi tri-border region. Turkish artillery also hit SDF sites in the village of Umm al-Kaif in the countryside of the town of Tal Tamr, northwest of Hasakah.
According to field sources who spoke with Sputnik, Turkish artillery shelling hit the villages of Al-Sayyada, Aoun Al-Dadat, Al-Tukhar, and Al-Daraj.
On Thursday, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the attacks killed at least “27 members of military formations operating in SDF-controlled areas,” three soldiers from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), and at least four civilians.
For its part, Turkiye's Ministry of National Defence said 32 targets in Syria and Iraq were “destroyed” in the aerial offensive without providing details on the locations that were hit. Officials added that “all kinds of precautions” were taken to prevent harm to civilians.

Earlier this evening, Netanyahu's office claimed that the Israeli prime minister has "welcomed Egypt's willingness" to push for an agreement to release the Israeli captives in Gaza. Following meetings in Cairo, Netanyahu supposedly instructed the head of the Mossad to go to Doha, Qatar to promote several initiatives, with approval of the cabinet members.
—
In response, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir's Office stated that he opposes sending a delegation, that this is not in accordance with the opinion of the Israeli government, and that military pressure on Hamas must continue – rather than giving it time to reorganize.
—
Similarly, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich expressed his strong opposition to the Mossad chief's trip to Doha, and slammed Qatar's participation in the talks. He called Qatar an "enemy state," as it supports Hamas and funds Al Jazeera, which is severely harming Israel's image. Smotrich reiterated that negotiations alone will not return the captives, and that military pressure is required, praising Israel's actions in northern Gaza.

❗Sources informed Tasnim that no rockets have hit IRGC military centers in western or southwestern Tehran, clarifying that the sounds heard were due to army air defense activity at three locations around Tehran in response to Israeli military action. More details on the explosions will be announced soon.

The WSJ article claims Russia is providing targeting data to Houthis, which disrupts trade and hurts the West. WSJ connects Houthi story to the North Korea troops story.
This is how propaganda works. Bring these two narratives together to create a big threat that must be confronted.
WSJ claims that as Putin causes chaos on two fronts (Korean Peninsula and Middile East), he successfully distracts from the Ukraine war, as a desperate Russia is...RUNNING OUT OF WEAPONS.
Via WSJ:
Story timed as BRICS Kazan summit is ongoing.

Palestinian Authority Rejects UAE Role In Post-War Gaza: Report
The PA advocates the unity of Palestinian territories – the West Bank, Gaza, and east Jerusalem – under a single Palestinian political, geographical, and legal sovereignty
The Palestinian Authority (PA) refuses any UAE involvement in Gaza's governance after Israel's war on Palestinians in the enclave ends, a high-ranking Palestinian official has told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.
“The Emirati plan reached us through American channels, and we rejected it through those same channels,” a high-ranking Palestinian official who requested anonymity told the Qatari-owned paper.
Hussein al-Sheikh, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), conveyed the PA's stance directly to the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara Leaf, during her recent visit to Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas refused a meeting with Leaf after learning she had no new proposals.
“We informed the US that the alternative to the Emirati plan is the unity of Palestinian territories – the West Bank, Gaza, and east Jerusalem – under a single political, geographical, and legal sovereignty, with the PLO as the sole legitimate representative,” said the official.
