Shaaban al-Dalou, 20 years old, died along with his mother after burning alive following Israel's attacks on tents next to Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
He was a software engineering student who continued studying and working hard throughout Israel's brutal war on Gaza, and he had the whole Quran memorized.
He was one of the victims caught on video in the flames with his IV still attached to his arm. He had survived the massacre committed by Israel on 6 October at a mosque outside the hospital, in which 20 Palestinians were murdered.

The Israeli air force bombed Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, killing at least four people and injuring 70 more
Israeli pilots dropped bombs on a courtyard of a hospital in northern Gaza in the early hours of 14 October, causing the tents of the displaced to catch fire and burn people alive.
The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the attack on the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza’s Deir al-Balah city killed at least four people and injured 70, many of them critically. The death toll is expected to rise.
“What happened was that we woke up to smoke, flames, fire, and burning pieces falling on the tents from every direction. The explosions terrified us in our tents and outside where we live behind Al-Aqsa Hospital,” a survivor of the attack, Om Ahmad Radi, told Al Jazeera.
“The fire trucks couldn’t get here. There were so many burned and charred bodies all over the place. The amount of fire and explosions was enormous. We witnessed one of the most horrible and brutal nights,” she explained.
Gaza’s Media Office said it was the seventh time this year that Israel has bombed the grounds of the Al-Aqsa Hospital complex and the third time in recent weeks.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent in Deir al-Balah, Hani Mahmoud, said some 20 to 30 tents burned down, trapping people inside.
“There were many people inside the tents as the fire spread who could not be saved,” Mahmoud stated. “We are looking at a large number [of deaths] as these tents are close to each other, back-to-back, and set up in a small space inside the hospital courtyard."

China, which claims Taiwan as part of its territory, has stepped up its shows of force around the self-ruled island in recent years.
Beijing: Chinese President Xi Jinping called this week for troops to strengthen their preparedness for war, state media reported today, just days after Beijing staged large-scale military drills around Taiwan.
Xi made his comments while visiting a brigade of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Force on Thursday, according to state-run broadcaster CCTV.
Xi said the military should "comprehensively strengthen training and preparation for war, (and) ensure troops have solid combat capabilities", state media CCTV reported.
Soldiers must "enhance their strategic deterrent and combat capability," Xi said.
China, which claims Taiwan as part of its territory, has stepped up its shows of force around the self-ruled island in recent years.
On Monday, Beijing had deployed fighter jets, drones, warships and coast guard vessels to encircle Taiwan -- its fourth round of large-scale war games around the democratic island in just over two years.
China's communist leaders have insisted they will not rule out using force to bring Taiwan under Beijing's control.
Xi on Thursday said the Chinese military must "strongly safeguard the country's strategic security and core interests", according to the CCTV report.
The dispute between China and Taiwan dates back to a civil war in which the nationalist forces of Chiang Kai-shek were defeated by Mao Zedong's communist fighters and fled to the island in 1949.
China and Taiwan have been ruled separately since then.

In November, Al-Shifa Hospital was invaded by the Israeli army, who evacuated its staff at gunpoint and turned the facility into a detention center.
Khan Yunis‘ Al-Nasser hospital was also stormed by Israeli troops in February. Several people were killed, including patients.
Palestinian rescue workers demanded urgent probes and international intervention following this month’s discovery of hundreds of bodies – many unidentifiable – buried in mass graves near the two hospitals.
Some of the bodies found showed signs of torture and execution. Other bodies had missing organs. Among the corpses found at the mass graves were those of children and elderly persons.

One neighbor said, “Usually there is a longer convoy, but there was very short traffic here, of only a few vehicles.”
Another neighbor described the moment of impact: “At first I thought it was the activity of our forces because there were no alarms. I was about to go back to sleep and then panic began. Neighbors said there was alert movement of security forces around one of the houses.”
An even more detailed account came from another neighbor , who lives close to the impact site. He revealed, “I live right next to the site of the impact. The time was 7:50, and we heard a buzz in the area. A few seconds later, we heard an explosion and a collision... there was a huge explosion. Rumors spread that a UFO had hit the building. We thought maybe it was an Iranian attack.”
He angrily stated, “We didn’t understand why no alarm was raised. How can we feel protected? It was not caught... After the disaster a few days ago, we built again for the event—in a similar copy, without warning, the UAV returned at a low altitude.”

Strike On Netanyahu Home ‘A Signal’ Iran Proxies Not Incapacitated, Expert Says
A recent drone strike targeting the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is sending “a signal” that Iran-backed militant groups are not “incapacitated,” despite losing senior leadership in recent weeks, according to a Middle East expert.
Daniel Levy, the president of the U.S./Middle East Project, in an interview with NewsNation Saturday, said he did not think the intention “necessarily was an extrajudicial killing of Netanyahu,” but the drone launch was a warning that Iran’s proxies — including Hamas and Hezbollah — are still formidable.
“It sends an important signal, doesn’t it,” Levy told “Morning in America” host Hena Doba on Saturday morning.
“It sends a signal that any talk that Hezbollah, as this came from Lebanon, has been incapacitated, they are done for. That’s clearly, not only premature, but basically a misreading of that reality,” he added. “I think any talk that Hamas are finished is equally misguided. It doesn’t understand what is the nature of a resistance movement rooted in the objective conditions of a people living without freedom.”
His comments come after a drone was launched from Lebanon toward Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea early Saturday. Neither the Israeli leader nor his wife were at home at the time and no injuries were reported, the prime minister’s office said.

🚨Leaked US Intelligence Documents Outline Israeli Preparations To Strike Iran
Reportedly, the leak comes courtesy of a US intelligence source
Leaked top secret documents from the Pentagon and the National Security Agency (NSA) outline Israeli preparations for a major attack against Iran, CNN reported on Saturday . The documents were published Friday on a Telegram channel, said to be affiliated with Iran, named “Middle East Spectator” that claims it received the information from a source within a US intelligence agency.
Besides the US, these documents, dated October 15 and 16, were only meant to be viewed by officials in Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, Washington’s “Five Eyes” allies. CNN cites “three people familiar with the matter,” including one that confirmed the documents’ authenticity. The documents can be viewed here and here .
The documents, including a visual intelligence report from the Pentagon’s National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, details ongoing activities being carried out in anticipation of the attack in Iran at Israeli Air Force (IAF) bases.

US officials are telling the media that the leak is “extremely serious.” At the same time, officials emphasize that it will probably not affect Israel’s plans. The US has apologized to Tel Aviv for the leak, an Israeli source told Haaretz.
