Israeli Troops Bombard, Besiege Northern Gaza As 'Generals' Plan' Unfolds

Israel issued evacuation orders for all of northern Gaza overnight in an effort to complete the ethnic cleansing of the remaining 300,000 civilians there

The Israeli military is carrying out a major military operation in Jabalia camp in Gaza as part of a broader operation to forcibly expel the remaining 300,000 Palestinians in northern Gaza to so-called humanitarian zones in the south of the enclave.

The Israeli military said troops from the 162nd Division’s 401st and 460th armored brigades encircled Jabalia camp overnight and were operating in the area “following intelligence on Hamas operatives and infrastructure, alongside efforts by the terror group to regroup there.”

The siege on Jabalia follows a night of heavy Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling on northern and central Gaza, killing dozens, including a strike on a mosque sheltering displaced people in Deir al-Balah early Sunday that killed at least 19 people, Palestinian officials said.

The overnight bombing and shelling was likened by residents to the bombing carried out at the start of the war on Gaza...

“The operation will continue as long as necessary while systematically striking and thoroughly destroying the terror infrastructure in the area,” the Israeli military said.

The operation marked the fourth invasion of Jabalia by the army since the start of the war a year ago.

Amid the invasion and siege of Jabalia, the army issued evacuation orders to civilians from the entire north of Gaza, including Gaza City, telling them to flee south to the so-called humanitarian zone of Al-Muwasi near Khan Yunis.

The army demanded that Palestinians evacuate on the two main roads leading south, Salahuddin Street in the center of the strip and Rashid Road on the coast.

Some 300,000 Palestinians remain in Gaza’s north and have refused to obey multiple Israeli orders to abandon their homes in over a year of war.

Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip issued a statement Sunday telling Palestinians in north Gaza not to obey Israeli threats and to move to the nearest neighboring residential area until the danger has passed so they can return to their homes as soon as possible.

“We affirm the falsehood of the occupation’s claims regarding the existence of safe areas in the southern Gaza Strip, as all governorates of the Strip are under attack, and the occupation is committing crimes and massacres against citizens in all areas without exception, including the tents of the displaced,” the statement said.

Israel’s latest push to empty northern Gaza appears to be an effort to ethnically cleanse northern Gaza and starve anyone, including civilians and Hamas fighters, remaining by imposing a total siege on the area.

Itzik Zuarets, a journalist for Israel's state broadcaster Kan, said the so-called “Generals' plan” is now being carried out.

...Since I published part 3 of this series on December 3rd, my central thesis points developed have been further substantiated.

...My thesis was that Israeli leadership had existing motivations to allow Oct 7th to happen and purposely fail to act on intelligence indicating an attack was to occur, and that leadership indeed do just that. The motivation for allowing Hamas’s attack to take place was the pretext for retaliation, in the form of depopulating Gaza and paving the way for expanding Israel’s territory and establishing Jewish settlements in Gaza - in line with the Greater Israel agenda.

In this piece I aim to compile important developments along the lines of my already-developed thesis points, as it has been 6 months since I published part 3, and there has been lots of developments, such as Israel refusing to cooperate with the UN’s independent investigation of Oct 7th in April.

...Another noteworthy development that occurred towards the end of writing this piece was the IDF admitting in late May that Netanyahu “Was Warned 4 Times in 2023 About How Enemies Saw Internal Discord”, as described in a Times of Israel Headline.

...Other facets of this “war” will be covered, such as Netanyahu’s declining popularity and the growing protests in Israel led by family members of the hostages (appropriately) accusing Netanyahu of not prioritizing a hostage deal, which ties in with the Hannibal directive. As I have grown fond of saying, The Hannibal Directive never ended.

In March, high ranking Israeli officials stepped forward to condemn Netanyahu for sabotaging hostage negotiations.

Netanyahu Declares 'Obligation To Respond To Iran' As Army Readies 'Significant' Attack

As Tel Aviv rushes toward its latest escalation in the regional war, Washington has called on its allies to avoid striking Iranian oilfields

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a recorded message on 5 October in which he pledged to strike back against Iran for its massive retaliatory attack that pummeled several Israeli military bases earlier this week.

"Twice already, Iran has fired, and we have intercepted hundreds of missiles from the largest ballistic missile attack in history. No country in the world would have accepted such an attack, and neither will Israel, and we will respond to these attacks," the premier said as Israeli warplanes continued to rain down fire on civilian infrastructure across neighboring Lebanon.

Netanyahu claimed that over recent weeks the army “began to fulfill the promise I gave to the residents of the north. We eliminated [Hezbollah chief Hassan] Nasrallah and the top echelon of Hezbollah … Although we have not yet completed the removal of the threat, we have clearly changed the course of the war and the balance of the war – until our arms are still outstretched.”

The Israeli premier, who faces war crimes and genocide charges from the International Criminal Court (ICC), stressed that his nation is "determined to defend itself against any threat. That includes the threat from Iran, which is behind all the attacks on us — from Gaza, from Lebanon, from Yemen, from Iraq and Syria — and of course, from Iran itself."

Earlier in the day, military authorities in Tel Aviv announced that the response to Iran's retaliation for Israel's bombing of the presidential guesthouse in Tehran in July would be “serious and significant,” and that it was devoting much of its time to planning it.

Now the question is, since Israel and Hamas were BOTH preparing for “all-out war” in the months leading up to October 7th, as pointed out in Part 1…… WHY THE #%&$ WOULDN’T ISRAELI LEADERSHIP TAKE INTELLIGENCE INDICATING AN ATTACK SERIOUSLY…. let alone repeated intelligence from multiple sources, internally within the nation’s security forces, as well as externally (Egyptian and US intelligence as well).

Moreover……. WHY WOULD INTELLIGENCE OFFICERS AND OBSERVERS WARNING OF THE ATTACK BE THREATENED WITH COURT MARTIAL FOR DOING THEIR JOB PROPERLY AND WARNING OF THE ATTACK BASED OFF SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE AND ASSESSMENT?

Many dismiss talk of intelligence failure as simply a result of arrogance and hubris, which maybe would satisfy to potentially explain a dismissal of intelligence from one or two source, but..

When you have multiple internal and external intelligence sources repeatedly warning for a year an attack was being planned.. With internal intelligence providing detailed intel indicating why junior intelligence thought that an attack was on the horizon, with details of the training, and even the attack plans..

and those internal sources were threatened with court martial for continuing to warn despite prior warnings falling on deaf and dismissive ears..

It is hard to simply write off the intelligence failure as an incidental failure, a series of unfortunate coincidences.

Especially when in the months prior to October 7, Israel was already publicly integrating AI with their military in preparation for “all-out war”, and Hamas was threatening “all-out war”.

Why would contingencies and countermeasures NOT be put in place in the event the indications of an attack turned out to be true - even if senior leadership found it improbable?

So while Israel felt the need to prepare for “all-out war” by integrating AI with military equipment in July months before Oct 7th, WHY did Israeli leadership not feel the need to take seriously multiple intelligence officers and sources providing intelligence and warnings indicating an attack?

It is a simple question. And I cannot find anything but a simple answer. Israeli leadership wanted the attack to happen.

From the very beginning of Israel’s assault on the Gaza Strip, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken had his hands on the steering wheel. After October 7, Blinken was the first senior U.S. official to arrive in Israel, on October 11.
