Ukrainian Special Forces Bomb Russian Base In Syria: Report

Kyrylo Budanov, the Ukrainian intelligence chief, has promised to 'destroy Russian war criminals anywhere in the world they may be'

Special forces from the Khimik group of Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) attacked a Russian military base in Syria, the Kyiv Post reported on 16 September.

The Ukrainian newspaper learned of the attack through information and video of the attack provided by the HUR.

According to a military intelligence source, the operation took place on 15 September in the southeastern outskirts of the northern city of Aleppo.

Russian forces used the base targeted by HUR special forces to manufacture and test strike UAVs, as well as to produce “camouflaged improvised explosive devices,” whose warheads were stored at the site, HUR claimed.

A video allegedly filmed by an intelligence officer and provided to the Kyiv Post shows a HUR flag is visible near the Russian base. An explosion erupts at the base a short time later, followed by the detonation of ammunition.

Haaretz: 'Either A Deal Or Escalation. Netanyahu Chose Escalation': Israelis Protest For Hostage Release Deal

'The fates of the Israeli hostages and the Gazan civilians are intrinsically linked: the war could end tomorrow, and the suffering of the Gazans would cease, if Hamas releases all hostages' said the cousin of an October 7 victim at the Tel Aviv protest

Anti-government demonstrations calling for the release of the hostages are taking place in cities across Israel. For the third consecutive week, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum is holding its rally outside the Defense Ministry headquarters in Tel Aviv, together with anti-government protesters.

🚨🤐Israel's Communications Minister: “There Is No Place for Public Broadcasting of the News, the Reform in the Communications Market Will Be Ready for Governmental Approval in November.”

This is the most dangerous government the State of Israel ever had. They are undermining the most basic foundations of Democracy - Free press and public access to information.

They want full control over what the public is made aware of. They're already abandoning our loved ones to torture and death at the hands of terrorist, when they know everyone can see their actions. Imagine what they'll be doing under the cover of silence when they know no information can be shared.

TheMcgwire pointed out this isnt the first time hes made such a statement, practically verbatum (except this time it isnt just rhetoric).

Hezbollah claims rocket attack on northern Israel - reports

Hezbollah fired medium-range rockets toward areas south of Haifa on Sunday morning local time, significantly expanding the range of its attacks against Israel, Axios reported.

The IDF said 10 rockets crossed into Israeli territory on Sunday morning local time. Most were intercepted but at least one rocket fell in Israeli territory.

Hezbollah said in a statement that a target of the attack was Israel's Ramat David Air Force base, which is located more than 30 miles from the border with Lebanon.

The group said in its statement that it had fired dozens of Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 rockets in a response to "the repeated Israeli attacks that targeted various Lebanese regions and led to the killing of civilians," Axios reported.

This is the first time since the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah that Hezbollah’s missiles crossed beyond 20km (12 miles), Al Jazeera said.

Meanwhile, residents of Israeli cities are posing for pictures with debris from the fallen rockets.
