Iran's ambassador to Lebanon was among over 1,000 people injured in the mysterious attack
Hundreds were injured across Lebanon on 17 September after an apparent attack on the country’s telecommunications networks caused pagers to explode.
Local reports indicate that a majority of the victims are members of the resistance movement Hezbollah. An unofficial toll says as many as 1,200 people were injured, some critically.
Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency reported that the country’s ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was also injured by one of the exploding devices...

In a since-deleted post on social media, the media consultant and former spokesperson for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Topaz Luk, hinted that Tel Aviv was behind the mysterious attack.
“This didn’t age well,” Luk commented on an X post that claimed the premier would not make any major move against Lebanon before his trip to New York next week. The comment was deleted a short while later.
Earlier this year, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah warned resistance members of the risks associated with using smartphones, calling them a “spy device that can be controlled” and urging fighters to “throw them away.”

Hostage Families: Countless Paid Accounts Just Like The One Below With Tens And Hundreds Of Thousands Of Followers Keep Spewing Poison Against The Hostages And The Hostage Release Deal Which Is The Only Way To Save Their Lives. It Is Vile And Shameful.
To be clear - What this man is saying actually literally means he does not care about the hostages at all.
It's saying: "Yea, I know they're being raped, starved, beaten. I know they can't breath in those death tunnels deep underground where no one can hear them scream. I know they're slowly dying in agony, and I know they'll be executed the second the IDF approaches. But, I'm just not comfortable with doing what needs to be done to save them."
That's what these types of accounts are doing. And worst of all, they're promoting this twisted sick attitude for pay. Money. They truly do not care about the hostages' lives. They are in it for fame and fortune.
They also blatantly lie about the hundreds of thousands of concerned Israeli citizens who've been taking to the streets, risking arrest and police violence against them, all because they really do care about the lives of the hostages.

Israel’s Attorney General reportedly refused Netanyahu’s request and said the ICC would not be deceived by the ‘blatant ploy’
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has attempted to launch a “fake” investigation against himself and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in a bid to stave off arrest warrants sought by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against them, according to Hebrew media.
The Channel 12 reports said Netanyahu asked his Justice Minister Yariv Levin to request that Israeli Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara open and then close an investigation to create the appearance that Israeli courts are investigating allegations against Tel Aviv at the ICC.
“Netanyahu and Justice Minister Yariv Levin asked the Attorney General to open an internal criminal investigation to thwart ICC arrest warrants, but the Attorney General refused to open an unjustified, fake investigation,” the Hebrew news outlet reported on 11 September.

A New York federal judge denied bail to Sean “Diddy” Combs at an arraignment hearing on Tuesday (Sept. 17), leaving the once-powerful rapper and music executive behind bars as he awaits trial on sweeping allegations of sexual abuse.
The charges, unsealed earlier on Tuesday , accuse Combs of running a decades-long racketeering conspiracy that included sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson and bribery. If convicted on all the charges, he potentially faces a sentence of life in prison.
At an initial hearing Tuesday in front of a packed Manhattan courtroom, Combs formally pleaded not guilty to each of the three charges he’s facing. His attorneys also requested that he be released on a $50 million bond, saying he’d surrender his passport and submit to constant monitoring.

Turkish media recently revealed that Ukrainian agents offered HTS leaders in Idlib a 'drones-for-fighters' deal
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on 12 September accused Ukrainian intelligence agents of “actively recruiting Islamist militants” in northwest Syria and the Sahara and Sahel regions of Africa “to carry out terrorist operations.”
“Now there is information that Ukrainian envoys, those of Ukrainian intelligence, are in the Idlib de-escalation zone on the territory of Syria, where they are recruiting militants of Jabhat al-Nusra, now called Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), to involve them in new hideous operations planned,” the Russian foreign minister said during a roundtable discussion with heads of diplomatic missions in Moscow.
“They are already looking further south, to the Sahara–Sahel zone of the African continent, where they are also carrying out terrorist attacks on government troops of numerous countries together with recruited extremists,” he added.
Lavrov also pointed to Ukraine's alleged role in “recruiting radical Islamists” who were behind the bloody terror attack at Moscow's Crocus City Hall earlier this year.
“The investigation is still underway, but it has already revealed evidence that the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry was involved in the preparation of the terrorist attack. In particular, the escape routes of the killers across the Russian–Ukrainian border were planned in detail,” Lavrov said.

The announcement came hours after an Israeli terror attack involving the detonation of thousands of pagers across Lebanon
Israeli army radio announced on 18 September that its elite 98th Division will be redeployed from Gaza to the northern front, just one day after Tel Aviv’s deadly terror attack involving the detonation of pager devices across Lebanon.
The announcement also coincides with fresh Israeli army threats of an imminent operation in Lebanon.
“Peak alertness in the north – in the [army] it has been decided: the elite 98th Division will move to the northern arena. The division was planned to continue fighting in the Gaza Strip, but in the last day it was decided to divert it to the north,” army radio correspondent Doron Kadosh said via X on Wednesday.
The chief of the Israeli army’s Northern Command, Major General Ori Gordin, said on 18 September that Israel is “determined” to escalate against Lebanon.
“The mission is clear: We are determined to change the security reality as soon as possible. The commitment of the commanders and the troops here is complete, with peak readiness for any task that will be required,” Gordin said.

Israeli General Claims 'Conditions Favorable' For Lebanon Buffer Zone
Some in Israel also want to occupy and ethnically cleanse southern Lebanon to establish Jewish settlements
Major General Ori Gordin, the head of the Israeli army’s Northern Command, has recommended the creation of a security buffer zone under Israeli control in southern Lebanon, Israel Hayom reported on 16 November.
According to sources from the Hebrew newspaper, Gordin argued in private meetings with the army leadership that the conditions were favorable for creating such a buffer zone for several reasons.
Gordon claimed that many members of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan commando unit have been killed or withdrawn from the border over the past 11 months of fighting.
He added that roughly 80 percent of civilians had been evacuated from the southern Lebanese villages that Israeli troops would occupy as part of a buffer zone.
The Major General said the primary objective is to end Hezbollah attacks on northern Israeli settlements, which have also been evacuated.

At 11 P.M. Wednesday, a Ramle man was shot to death in the street. At around midnight, a woman was killed in a car in the city's Jawarish neighborhood. Toward dawn, a man from Jdaideh-Makr was shot dead on a motorcycle and later Thursday morning, a 19-year-old man seriously wounded his mother in Kafr Qasem. At 5 P.M., a hand grenade was thrown at a shop in Ramle: A woman and her 8-year old daughter, a 10-year old boy and a 24-year-old woman were killed. And Friday, there was another homicide in Tira.
Seven Arab citizens were killed in Israel in under 24 hours of "governance." As the grenade was tossed into the store, the responsible cabinet minister and the police commissioner met to finalize the new police appointments that will strengthen National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's grip on the police.
Since then, a bomb has exploded in a car in Acre, and a young man and a 5-year-old girl have been wounded by gunfire in Jisr al-Zarqa. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 210 violent deaths in Israel, 168 of them members of the Arab community. Instead of dealing with the accusations, during a PR tour of the scene in Ramle, the minister in charge chose to blame the attorney general and silence the media.
The police also prefer to focus their resources on the political persecution of the anti-government and pro-hostage deal demonstrators. Over the past month, the police arrested demonstrators holding silent protests in the form of a picnic near the homes of cabinet members and lawmakers ;refused to release dozens of protestors from custody, on the orders of "certain ranks"; arrested and quickly charged a 27-year-old woman who allegedly threw a ball of sand at Minister Ben-Gvir; dismantled a tent encampment in support of the hostages; shoved the aunt of murdered hostage Carmel Gat; and, on Friday afternoon, arrested three women for distributing flyers in a synagogue.

There’s no indication that any of the recipients responded, officials said, and several media organizations approached over the summer with leaked stolen information have also said they did not respond. Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign called the emails from Iran “unwelcome and unacceptable malicious activity” that were received by only a few people who regarded them as spam or phishing attempts.
The announcement is the latest U.S. government effort to call out what officials say is Iran’s brazen, ongoing work to interfere in the election, including a hack-and-leak campaign that the FBI and other federal agencies linked last month to Tehran.
