Hostage Families: Jonathan Greenblatt has been using the plight of our family members to create consensus for war, despite the fact that we are getting beaten in the streets calling for a ceasefire & hostage deal.

Greenblatt refuses to hold Netanyahu accountable, doing his dirty work in America.

Claiming that Hamas and Hamas alone is responsible for the war continuing while we and other hostage family members have been saying for months that Netanyahu has been torpedoing deals is a subversion of our will.

Israeli Military Recovers Six Bodies Of Israeli Hostages In Gaza

According to Israeli media, five were killed by Israeli airstrikes

The Israeli military said Tuesday that its forces recovered the bodies of six Israeli hostages in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.

According to Ynet , initial findings show that five of the Israelis were killed as a result of a nearby Israeli airstrike. The strike caused a fire, which flooded the tunnel where they were held with carbon monoxide, killing the five Israelis and Hamas guards that were holding them. The other hostage was shot, according to an autopsy.

According to Axios , there are now 109 hostages remaining in Gaza, but about half are presumed dead. In response to the news of the six bodies being recovered, a group representing hostage families called for a deal with Hamas.

“The immediate return of the remaining 109 hostages can only be achieved through a negotiated deal. The Israeli government, with the assistance of mediators, must do everything in its power to finalize the deal currently on the table,” the Hostage Families and Missing Forum said in a statement.

Family members of the six men whose bodies were recovered blamed their deaths on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been working to sabotage the chances of a deal with Hamas.

Zelensky Says Kursk Invasion Shows Russia’s Red Lines Are A Bluff

The Ukrainian leader is urging the US and its NATO allies to support long-range strikes inside Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Monday that the Ukrainian assault on Russia’s Kursk Oblast shows that Moscow’s red lines and threats of retaliation are a bluff.

Zelensky made the comments while criticizing the US and its NATO allies for not allowing Ukraine to use Western-provided weapons to launch long-range strikes inside Russian territory.

“We are witnessing a significant ideological shift – the naive, illusory concept of so-called red lines regarding Russia, which dominated the assessment of the war by some partners, has crumbled apart these days,” he said.

The Ukrainian leader claimed that if Ukraine had been allowed to fire NATO weapons deep inside Russia, it wouldn’t have had to launch the offensive in Kursk . He also claimed that long-range strikes would stop Russia’s gains in eastern Ukraine, which have become more rapid amid the fighting in Kursk.

“You must realize, both here and in the capitals where you work, that Ukraine is separated from stopping the advance of the Russian army at the front by only one decision, which we expect from our partners. And this is a decision on long-range capabilities,” he said.

Biden Approved Nuclear Strategy To Prepare For Nuclear War With Russia, China, And North Korea

The strategy also focuses on China for the first time

President Biden approved in March a new nuclear strategic plan that includes preparations for a simultaneous nuclear war with Russia, China, and North Korea, The New York Times reported on Tuesday.

The US nuclear strategy is updated about every four years or so and is highly classified. The Times described the new strategy as the “first to examine in detail whether the United States is prepared to respond to nuclear crises that break out simultaneously or sequentially, with a combination of nuclear and nonnuclear weapons.”

US officials, including Pranay Vaddi, an arms control official on the National Security Council, have made public comments about the changes to the strategy. Vaddi said in June that the new strategy emphasizes “the need to deter Russia, the [People’s Republic of China] and North Korea simultaneously.”

The strategy also focuses on China for the first time, as the Pentagon has claimed China could increase its nuclear stockpile to 1,500 by 2035. Current estimates put China’s arsenal at about 500.

China’s arsenal is still just a fraction of what the US and Russia possess. The State Department said in July that the US has 5,748 warheads, including 2,000 that are retired and awaiting dismantlement.
