...The IDF says an initial assessment found that the man critically wounded was hit by an interceptor missile, which missed its target and fell to the ground.

The interceptor was directed at a drone which entered Israel from Lebanon. The army is investigating why the interceptor failed to explode in the air after missing its target.

FBI Agents Execute Search Warrant on Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles, Newschannel 5 Confirms

FBI agents executed a search warrant late last week on Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles as the first-term Republican faces continuing scrutiny over fraudulent campaign financial reports that he filed, NewsChannel 5 has confirmed.

Reached by telephone Tuesday, Ogles’ attorney declined to comment, although he did not deny that his client had been targeted for a search by federal authorities.

“I’m not going to confirm or deny that there was a search warrant issued,” the attorney, G. Kline Preston IV, told NewsChannel 5 Investigates in a brief conversation.

Details of exactly what areas were authorized to be searched remain murky, although individuals familiar with such investigations suggested the warrant may have been limited to Ogles’ electronic devices.

...Back in May, Ogles filed a series of amended campaign financial reports, admitting he had not personally loaned his campaign $320,000 as he had reported back in 2022.

Other amendments to his campaign financial reports resulted in Ogles retracting claims regarding thousands of dollars in campaign contributions and expenditures that he had previously reported to the Federal Election Commission.

That development came several months after NewsChannel 5 Investigates raised questions about whether Ogles had the financial resources to make that personal loan. Despite having reported making the $320,000 personal loan, Ogles' personal financial disclosures did not show any substantial investments — not even a savings account.

A watchdog group, the Campaign Legal Center, later filed a complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics, comparing Ogles’ conduct to disgraced New York Congressman George Santos.

Santos is now facing a criminal indictment that accuses him of reporting non-existent personal loans to his campaign in order to be eligible for other campaign contributions.

I wrote a piece 2 months ago that compared Brazil’s Jan 8th to the US’ Jan 6th, but not like how most of the media did (incessantly). Instead, I compared the similarities in the holes in the official narratives:

And, of course, social media censorship of the opposition party by the ruling party.

...Since I wrote that article on Brazil 6th, just 2 months ago, the former DC capitol police chief, who was the police chief on Jan 6th. 2020, went on record in a National Pulse exclusive, stating, “Everything appears to be a cover up.”..

“ 'Everything appears to be a cover up,” says the decorated police chief, explaining that most things to do with his department were political, specifically because he reported to politicians including then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. “Like I said, I’m not a conspiracy theorist,” Sund explains, “…but when you look at the information and intelligence they had, the military had, it’s all watered down. ....The support for the protestors by the armed services and police on January 8th, the protestors being allowed into the building, and the mobilization of unarmed protests being known to the government well in advance being turned into “Attacks on democracy” and treated like “insurrections” - points to as a form of a self-coup, also known as an a autogolpe.

A self-coup is a tactic that has been used by dictators and authoritarian governments many times throughout history to justify an expansion of power.

According to WAPO: “Between 1946 and 2022, an estimated 148 self-coup attempts took place, 110 in autocracies and 38 in democracies”

... The point of examining Brazil, and by proxy Jan 6th, is to A. give an example of why distrust in institutions is rising, and B. demonstrate how that leads to social unrest. And it also is a great way to show how American Media [and government] lies.

Israel Considering ‘Preemptive Strike’ Against Iran

Netanyahu discussed the idea in a meeting with his top officials on Sunday

Israel is considering launching a “preemptive strike” on Iran as it’s awaiting a reprisal attack for the assassination of Hamas’s political chief in Iran.

According to Israeli media reports, Israel could launch an attack on Iran if it finds an Iranian strike is imminent. The idea was discussed on Sunday night in a meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his top military and intelligence officials.

Iranian officials have made clear they will respond to the killing of Ismail Haniyeh on Iranian soil, and any Israeli preemptive strike would just escalate the situation even more.

US and Israeli officials believe an Iranian attack could happen any day , and it’s expected that Hezbollah will be involved in the operation as the Lebanese group vowed a response to an Israeli strike that killed one of its top commanders in Beirut. Iran’s allies in Iraq and the Houthis in Yemen could also join the attack on Israel.

The US has deployed additional warships and warplanes to the Middle East for the purpose of “defending Israel,” making US military assets potential targets in a reprisal attack.

Majority Of Americans Oppose Using US Troops To Defend Israel

The Biden administration has committed to defending Israel from an expected Iranian reprisal attack

The majority of Americans oppose the idea of US troops being used to defend Israel if it comes under attack by Iran, according to a poll conducted by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs that was released on Tuesday.

The poll, conducted from June 21–July 1, 2024, found that 56% of Americans oppose US troops defending Israel, while 42% support the idea. Support for defending Israel is stronger among Republicans, with 53% in favor and only 32% of Democrats in favor.

The survey also found that 55% of Americans oppose US troops defending Israel if it comes under attack by a neighboring country.

The results come as the Biden administration is vowing to defend Israel from an expected Iranian reprisal attack for the killing of Hamas’s political chief, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran. A major coordinated attack launched by Iran and its allies could result in American casualties, and the US support for Israel risks a major regional war.

The US defended Israel from an Iranian attack in April, which came in response to the Israeli bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria. The Biden administration intervened directly to protect Israel and is pledging to do so again without any authorization from Congress or any debate on the matter.

Ahead of Venezuela's election, John Bolton admitted to the Washington Post that he knew that the Trump admin's crippling sanctions and coup attempt against Venezuela would destroy its economy and force millions to flee:

🚨Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina Quits, Army Takes Over Amid Massive Protests

Sheikh Hasina has quit as Bangladesh Prime Minister and the Army has taken control amid violent protests demanding her exit. Bangladesh Army chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman told the media that the Army will form an interim government and has appealed to the protesters to return to the path of peace.

"There is a crisis in the country. I have met Opposition leaders and we have decided to form an interim government to run this country. I take all responsibility and promise to protect your life and property. Your demands will be fulfilled. Please support us and stop violence. If you work with us, we can move towards a proper solution. We cannot achieve anything through violence," he said. The Army chief also confirmed that Ms Hasina has stepped down.

The Army General said leaders of Opposition parties and civil society were present at today's meeting, and clarified that nobody from the ruling Awami League attended it.

Report: Putin Asks Iran To Avoid Civilian Casualties In Reprisal Attack On Israel

Reports also say Russia is shipping air defenses to Iran

Russian President Vladimir Putin has asked Iranian Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to avoid civilian casualties in Iran’s expected reprisal attack on Israel for the killing of Hamas’s political chief in Tehran, Reuters reported on Tuesday , citing two unnamed Iranian sources.

The sources said the message was delivered by Sergey Shoigu, head of the Russian Security Council and former defense minister. Shoigu was in Tehran on Monday and met with President President Masoud Pezeshkian.

The New York Times reported that Iran had requested air defenses from Russia in the meeting as it prepares for a potential war with Israel and the US and that Moscow had already begun delivering radars and air defense equipment.

Russia and Iran have increased military ties in recent years as a result of both countries facing heavy US sanctions, but so far, neither country has confirmed that Russia is delivering new equipment.

Brig. Gen. Alireza Elhami, the deputy commander of Iran’s air defense forces, said that the Iranian military was in the process of upgrading its air defense systems but added that Tehran is not relying on any foreign country.

❗Earlier today, the Israeli military spokesman issued a forced evacuation order for residents of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, threatening the lives of nearly 200,000 Palestinians sheltering there.

The notice says that the military will "forcefully and immediately operate" in the area, instructing residents to head to undefined "shelters" in the center of Gaza City.
