Gad Saad is a Canadian professor, a prominent pro-Israel voice, who recently told the Epoch Times that he used to be an Israeli intelligence agent..

A couple days after this went viral, Gad Saad called for censoring the Anti-Zionist League which was drawing attention to him being a former Israeli intelligence agent. Musk’s twitter had obliged the request to censor the Anti-Zionist League.

Elon Musk had replied to Gad Saad 4 times in 2 hours, including this exchange. Elon Musk having obliged this request to “shut it down!”, responded: "I have actual Mossad Merch btw. But the CIA has some really great merch."

To me, this felt very much like the infamous “We will coup whoever we want! Deal with it.”..., as I was writing this, the Wall Street Journal published an exclusive titled, “Musk’s SpaceX Forges Tighter Links With U.S. Spy and Military Agencies”

"SpaceX is deepening its ties with U.S. intelligence and military agencies, winning at least one major classified contract and expanding a secretive company satellite program..."

... towards the end of a big article I wrote in August, titled, "The Suspiciously Convenient Timing of Covid for the Davos Elite and the WEF's 'Great Reset' — I sought to address red flags of Elon Musk’s twitter, notably “Freedom of speech, not freedom of reach” and comments on “lawful but awful” content, by Linda Yaccarino.

"If you're going to post something that is lawful but is awful, you get labeled. You get deamplified which means it cannot be shared. And it is certainly demonetized" - Linda Yaccarino on twitter policy

See what she is saying there? “Okay we won’t overtly censor you if its awful, but if we, or our advertisers, (or maybe the mossad and CIA) don’t like it, we deamplify you so nobody actually sees it”.

...Linda Yaccarino herself being picked for CEO was also subject to much scrutiny, with her corporate background and being a WEF member.

...Yet while twitter’s official policy is to limit visibility and algorithmically suppress whatever is deemed “lawful but awful” speech, Elon Musk talks out the other side of X’s mouth to say Twitter will uphold speech to the maximum extent the law allows, as he has repeatedly said since buying twitter - a claim he repeated just days ago:

...Maximum Free Speech Allowed by Law? Or “Lawful but Awful” Content Gets Censored and “Freedom of Speech, Not Reach”…. Which is it? You Can’t Have Both

I think the continued censorship (both covert and overt) a year after Musk taking over twitter, the declared “freedom of speech not reach” policy, and other red flags, such as his major companies having major contracts with the US military (and apparently now intelligence agencies), point to Musk having rebranded censorship, rather than eliminated it.

Despite censorship being abound in twitter 2.0, many still view twitter as a good faith actor trying to revive free speech, as Elon still promotes himself as the savior of free speech. Elon Musk recently tweeted a meme reemphasizing the new twitter being branded as pro free speech. He has been making a lot of tweets like this recently, really leaning into the free speech marketing as he cozies up with intelligence agencies.

And again, a bunch of accounts were censored at the same time as mine, most of which had been / were critical of Israel or Musk, or like me, both.

Even a former Mossad Chief attended the Israeli protest, taking aim at Netanyahu, and his political motives for failing to reach a deal with Hamas for the return of the hostages.

....Former Mossad Chief Danny Yatom said during the demonstration that Netanyahu was seeking to keep the war in Gaza going because "it seems to him that as long as the guns are roaring, it is easier for him to 'dissolve' his criminal trial," and that freeing the captives was not a priority for the prime minister...

....Israeli defense minister Gallant, who is seen as a political rival of Netanyahu alongside Gantz, at this time in April called for a Hostage deal to be made. Gantz was one of the officials identified by Haaretz having “increasingly believed that Netanyahu didn’t consider the return of the hostages the main mission in the war”...

A hostage deal did not pan out.

After all, Netanyahu has been sabotaging all Hostage negotiations.

....The same day the Hostage Families account made its debut on twitter, on June 4th, Mediate ran the headline: "Biden Implies Netanyahu Is Prolonging Israel-Hamas War For His Own Political Gain".

This implication by Biden echoed what many Israelis have been saying, including a former Mossad Chief as discussed earlier in the article: Netanyahu is prolonging the war for his own political agenda (implication is against the best interests of Israelis)

From my observations, the protests by the Israeli families have gotten very little attention in American media, and in discussion by Americans. I think this is by design.

If the Israeli protests were front and center... I think there would be much more hesitation to support Netanyahu & Co, even amongst those who fashion themselves pro-Israel. More may see that Netanyahu and Israel's far right are leading Israel off a cliff

I think that many of those in America blindly in support of Netanyahu and the ruling government would potentially see things differently if they understood the opposition to Israeli leadership is being led by Israel families, and why that is happening..

Again, it is easy for the people on the right, lost in cultural conditioning and partisan expectations, to dismiss college protestors calling for a ceasefire as “blue haired marxist Hamas supporters”, but it would not be so easy to dismiss the family members of the victims of Oct 7th as Hamas.. Not that Netanyahu’s allies in the Likud party haven’t tried.

US and Venezuela Agree to Improve Ties

A top Venezuelan negotiator reported that Caracas and Washington agreed to work on improving the relations between the two nations. The US has waged an economic war and supported multiple coup attempts against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

In a post on X, President Nicolas Maduro’s top negotiator Jorge Rodriguez said the two sides agreed to a “willingness” to “improve relations” during an initial meeting. The negotiator wrote that the US and Venezuelan teams agreed to continue the talks.

The US has maintained sanctions on Venezuela for over a decade. Under President Donald Trump, the economic war escalated to a maximum-strength attempt to destroy the Venezuelan economy and lead to the overthrow of Maduro. Additionally, during the Trump presidency, the US-backed Juan Guaido, who made several unsuccessful overt coup attempts.

The Biden White House has largely continued Trump’s policy. At times, Biden has engaged Caracas in talks but conditioned all sanctions relief in Venezuela to comply with US dictates in Venezuelan presidential elections. Previous negotiations between Caracas and Washington broke down when Venezuela disallowed the US-preferred candidate to run for president.

The economic war on Venezuela has pushed Caracas into developing ties with other nations sanctioned by the US, including Iran. The sanctions have also impoverished the Venezuelan people, contributing to tens of thousands of deaths.

Reuters: Efforts To Secure Gaza Ceasefire and Hostage Release Gain Momentum

Efforts to secure a ceasefire and hostage release in Gaza gathered momentum on Friday after Hamas made a revised proposal on the terms of a deal, and Israel said negotiations would continue into next week.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the head of the Mossad intelligence agency returned from an initial meeting with mediators in Doha, the capital of Qatar, and that negotiations would continue next week.

"There are still gaps between the sides," Netanyahu's office said.

Earlier, a source in Israel's negotiating team, speaking on condition of anonymity, said there was now a real chance of achieving agreement.
Those remarks were in sharp contrast to past instances in the nine-month-old war in Gaza when Israel said conditions attached by Hamas were not acceptable.

He said Hamas was no longer demanding as a pre-condition an Israeli commitment to a permanent ceasefire before signing an agreement, and would allow negotiations to achieve that throughout a first six-week phase...

Hamas said it had told Hezbollah it had agreed to a ceasefire proposal in Gaza and that the Lebanese group's leader had welcomed the step, two sources familiar with the matter said.

"If there is a Gaza agreement, then from zero hour there will be a ceasefire in Lebanon," said one of the sources, an official in Hezbollah

European Country Joins SCO

Belarus has become the tenth member of the bloc based around Russia-China-India cooperation

Belarus has officially become a full-fledged member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), an economic and security bloc covering most of Eurasia and accounting for more than 20% of global GDP.

Membership documents were signed during the opening of the organization’s summit in Astana, Kazakhstan, on Thursday. The announcement was made by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, whose country is chairing the SCO in 2024. He noted that Belarus “completed all the necessary procedures on the way to full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in a short period of time.”

Founded in 2001, the SCO includes India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and now Belarus, with several other countries playing the role of observers.
The bloc’s goals are to strengthen relations between member states and promote cooperation in the political, economic, scientific, cultural, and educational fields.

...As you can see the first quarter of 2023 saw rapid momentum in expression of interest to join BRICS. More countries sought to coordinate intentions to join BRICS+ as well as seeking greater cooperation with alternative institutions challenging the west such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO) and New Development Bank(NDB).

....And interest in BRICS and BRICS adjacent organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperative Organisation (SCO) and New Development Bank(NDB) would keep growing, as would bilateral trade in national currencies.
