Putin Makes Public Peace Offer to Ukraine
The Russian leader said there could be an immediate pause to hostilities
Russian President Vladimir Putin laid out four conditions for Ukraine that he said would lead to an immediate ceasefire and, ultimately, an end to the conflict. According to the Kremlin, Kiev’s neutral, non-aligned, non-nuclear status and the lifting of all Western sanctions are necessary conditions for ending the conflict.
In a speech to the Russian Foreign Ministry on Friday, Putin said that if Ukraine withdraws its forces from the four regions annexed by Moscow – Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson – then he would order a halt to operations and begin negotiations to end the war.
As well as recognizing Russia’s territorial claims to the formerly Ukrainian regions, Putin demanded that Kiev never join NATO or obtain nuclear weapons and called for an end to Western sanctions on Moscow.
The offer is the second from the Kremlin in recent weeks and comes at a crucial time in the nearly two-and-a-half-year conflict, as Moscow’s forces make slow but steady gains in the Kharkiv region. To offset Russian advantages, Kiev’s Western backers have significantly escalated their support by allowing Ukraine to hit targets inside Russia, seizing frozen Russian funds to give to Ukraine, and preparing to deploy NATO trainers to Ukraine.
Ukrainian Presidential Adviser Mykhailo Podolyak quickly rejected the Russian offer in a post on X. “There are no new ‘peace proposals’ from Russia. Entity Putin has voiced only the ‘standard aggressor’s set,’ which has been heard many times already,” he wrote. “Its content is quite specific, highly offensive to international law, and speaks absolutely eloquently about the incapacity of the current Russian leadership to adequately assess realities.”
The offer is similar to what Russia demanded in the early months of the war. At that time, Moscow was only seeking to annex Crimea. However, Russian forces have made significant advances in the years since, and the Kremlin says it will not relinquish the four regions of southern and eastern Ukraine annexed last year.

Washington ‘Cannot Verify’ Whether Israel Using US Intel to Massacre Civilians
The US has provided an 'extraordinary amount' of intelligence to Israel amid its genocidal campaign in Gaza
US lawmakers fear Israel may be using US-supplied intelligence to carry out bombings that kill civilians in Gaza, the Washington Post reported on 14 June.
Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, the US has shared “an extraordinary amount of drone footage, satellite imagery, communications intercepts, and data analysis using advanced software, some of it powered by artificial intelligence,” current and former US and Israeli intelligence officials told the newspaper.
Some US officials described Israel’s demand for more intelligence as “insatiable.”
However, given Israel’s regular targeting of civilians and repeated claims that there are no “innocent” Palestinians in Gaza, including children, this raises questions about how the intelligence is being used.
Israel has killed over 37,000 Palestinians in its horrific eight-month bombing campaign while turning huge sections of Gaza into a “moonscape.”
The Post reports that some US lawmakers worry that the intelligence provided by the US is making its way into data repositories that Israeli forces use to conduct airstrikes or other military operations and that there are no effective means of monitoring how the information is used.
The White House claims it has forbidden Israel from using any US-supplied intelligence to target regular Hamas fighters in military operations. The intelligence is only to be used for locating the captives held by Hamas and targeting the top leadership of the group, including Yahya Sinwar and Mohammad Deif.
However, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said last month that the intelligence is “not tied or conditioned on anything else,” and Israel killed 247 Palestinians during an operation to rescue four captives last week that relied in part on US intelligence.
The Post adds that “practically speaking, Israel is on its honor not to use US-supplied intelligence for proscribed purposes,” current and former US officials familiar with the intelligence-sharing relationship said.

Indiana Cop Used Facial Recognition Scans To Preform Non-Work-Related Searches
The use of Clearview’s facial recognition tech by US law enforcement is controversial in and of itself, and it turns out some police officers can use it “for personal purposes.”
One such case happened in Evansville, Indiana, where an officer had to resign after an audit showed the tech was “misused” to carry out searches that had nothing to do with his cases.
Clearview AI, which has been hit with fines and much criticism – only to see its business go stronger than ever, is almost casually described in legacy media reports as “secretive.”
But that sits badly in juxtaposition of another description of the company, as peddling to law enforcement (and the Department of Homeland Security in the US) some of the most sophisticated facial recognition and search technology in existence.
However, the Indiana case is not about Clearview itself – the only reason the officer, Michael Dockery, and his activities got exposed is because of a “routine audit,” as reports put it. And the audit was necessary to get Clearview’s license renewed by the police department.
In other words, the focus is not on the company and what it does (and how much of what and how it does, citizens are allowed to know) but on there being audits, and those ending up in smoking out some cops who performed “improper searches.” It’s almost a way to assure people Clearview’s tech is okay and subject to proper checks.
But that remains hotly contested by privacy and rights groups, who point out that, to the surveillance industry, Clearview is the type of juggernaut Google is on the internet.

The Day the West Defined ‘Success’ as a Massacre of 270 Palestinians
Israelis dance in the streets, the White House hails a ‘daring’ operation, Rishi Sunak expresses relief. How carnage in Gaza has become the new normal
Israel hasn’t just crossed the Biden administration’s pretend “red lines” in Gaza. With its massacre at Nuseirat refugee camp at the weekend, Israel drove a bulldozer through them.
On Saturday, an Israeli military operation to free four Israelis held captive by Hamas since its 7 October attack on Israel resulted in the killing of more than 270 Palestinians, many of them women and children.
The true death toll may never be known. Untold numbers of men, women and children are still under rubble from the bombardment, crushed to death, or trapped and suffocating, or expiring slowly from dehydration if they cannot be dug out in time.

US Worried Israel Will ‘Proactively’ Spark Full-Blown War With Hezbollah: Report
Cross-border tensions intensified after Israel assassinated a top resistance commander in southern Lebanon this week, prompting Hezbollah to launch a massive barrage of rockets
Senior US officials say that the government is concerned that Israel plans to make a “proactive move” against the Lebanese resistance on its northern front and spark a full-blown war “without a clear strategy,” according to a report by Hebrew daily Walla.
“The US fears that Israel will make a proactive move that will lead to a war with Hezbollah or will be dragged into such a war without a clear strategy and without thinking a few steps ahead about the consequences of such a scenario,” Israeli journalist Barak Ravid quotes the unnamed US officials as saying.
Washington has intensified diplomatic efforts to avert such a scenario, with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin recently conveying these fears to his Israeli counterpart, Yoav Gallant. According to Ravid, Washington’s concerns mainly stem from the possibility of getting dragged further into the simmering conflict.
“We are seeing an increase in activity in [Israel’s] north, and we don’t want things to escalate into a broader regional conflict … That was something that the secretary spoke with Mr Gallant about at length yesterday,” Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said on Thursday.

The strike resulted in the most casualties of any Israeli attack since the start of the war on 8 October.
Israeli warplanes fired missiles, destroying a three-story house and damaging nearby buildings located between the towns of Jannata and Deir Qanoun al-Nahr near the coastal city of Tyre (Sur).
The female victims were Sally Salaiki, who worked as a paramedic with the Amal Movement, and Dalal Ezzedine. The twenty injured included children and infants, who were taken to hospitals in Tyre for treatment.
...The overnight strike comes amid a broader escalation of the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel this week.
In an airstrike on Tuesday, the Israeli army assassinated Talib Abdallah, the highest-ranking Hezbollah official killed since the start of the war.
In response, Hezbollah fired hundreds of rockets and missiles at multiple Israeli military bases and critical positions on Wednesday. On Thursday, Hezbollah launched missile attacks against nine Israeli army sites simultaneously, the largest rocket attack of this kind since October.

Many people were furious with me, with some of the feedback being that I am a “commie” and a “leftist” for criticising a world leader that many perceive to be against the NWO.
I believe my angle to be one that never underestimates the NWO, and one that inspires people to look deeper and be more diligent.
We have a chance for humanity to win, but not if we blindly follow and hear only what we want to hear.
