Israeli Official Says Military Operations in Gaza Will Continue for at Least Another 7 Months

Tzachi Hanegbi, head of the Israeli National Security Council, said Wednesday (May 29) that he expects Israeli military operations in Gaza to continue for at least another seven months into early 2025.

“We expect another seven months of fighting in order to deepen the accomplishments and achieve what we have defined as ‘the destruction of the governmental and military capabilities of Hamas,'” Hanegbi said.

According to the latest numbers from Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 36,171 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s war, and the Palestinian Red Crescent estimates over 15,000 children have been killed. June 7 will mark eight months since Israel unleashed its campaign after the October 7 Hamas attack on southern Israel.

Many more Palestinians could die of starvation and disease caused by the Israeli siege, as barely any aid has entered Gaza since Israel captured the Rafah crossing on the Egyptian border on May 7.

🚨BREAKING: Jury in Trump’s “Hush Money” Trial in New York Has Found Him Guilty on All 34 Counts

The jury in former President Donald Trump's "hush money" trial in New York has found him guilty on all counts, making him the first former president in U.S. history to be convicted of a crime.

The jury of 12 New Yorkers found that Trump violated the law by falsifying business records to cover up a $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. They found him guilty on all 34 counts he faced.

The verdict was handed down in the Manhattan courtroom where Trump has been on trial for the past six weeks. The presumptive Republican nominee for president is now also a convicted felon.

Netanyahu Advisor Tells Hostage Families He Doesn’t Think There Will Be a Deal To Free Their Relatives

Tzachi Hanegbi said in a contentious meeting that the government isn't willing to end its military operations in Gaza to free the hostages

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s national security advisor, Tzachi Hanegbi, told family members of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza that he doesn’t think there will be a comprehensive deal to free all of their relatives.

Hanegbi said that the initial “humanitarian” part of a deal that’s been discussed could be reached within a few months, which could result in the release of some of the hostages. But he added that the Netanyahu government was not willing to end its military operations in Gaza to free all the hostages. Hamas’s main demand to release all the hostages has been a permanent ceasefire and Israeli withdrawal.

“The first stage of the deal, the humanitarian phase, we will be able to achieve within a few short months. It won’t take many months and not years,”
Hanegbi said, according to a report from Israel’s Channel 12. “I don’t believe that this government will succeed in completing the entire deal. This government will not take a decision on stopping the war for the return of all the hostages. We have to keep fighting in order that there won’t be another October 7 in October 2027.”

Hanegbi said that there was no plan B if the hostages were not released within a few months. “We will continue to fight in Gaza and in the north, and only then will we reassess,” he said.

According to Haaretz, a participant in the meeting reportedly asked, “So, we’re lost?” and Hanegbi replied in the affirmative.

Netanyahu has made clear that the hostages were not his priority
and that even if all of them were freed, he would continue the genocidal campaign in Gaza to “eradicate” Hamas, a goal the US does not think is realistic. Haaretz reported back in March that Israel believes only 60 to 70 of the 134 remaining hostages in Gaza were alive, and a source said they feared the number could be even lower.

Israel Seizes Entirety of Gaza–Egypt Border

The Philadelphi corridor, a lifeline to both the resistance and the people of Gaza, is now under Israeli control

The Israeli army said on 29 May that its forces took control of the Philadelphi corridor on the Gaza Strip’s southern border with Egypt.

The corridor runs along the southern edge of Rafah and includes the city’s border crossing with Egypt, which Israeli forces seized on 7 May, launching an ongoing operation.

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said on Wednesday that troops took “operational” control over the corridor that “served as an oxygen line for Hamas, which it regularly used to smuggle weapons into the area of the Gaza Strip.”

The army also claimed it found dozens of rocket launchers and at least 20 cross-border smuggling tunnels.

Troops are now stationed along most of the Philadelphi corridor, except for an area where no ground forces are present but the army said it is controlling through surveillance and bombardment.

Tel Aviv has been updating Egypt on the developments, according to Israeli media.

According to the Israeli army, Hamas placed rocket launchers along the Philadelphi corridor to prevent Israel from bombing them. The army said Hamas perceived that Israel would fear accidentally shooting into Egypt.

Three days ago, an Egyptian soldier was killed by Israeli fire at the Rafah crossing. Tension has been building, as Cairo has expressed great concern over Israel’s current operation in Rafah. The Egyptian government has yet to comment on the seizing of the corridor, something it has previously warned against.

The Philadelphi corridor, also known as the Salah al-Din Axis, and the tunnels in its vicinity are used by the Palestinian resistance to bring weapons into Gaza, while Palestinians use them to bring items for everyday needs. The corridor runs along the entirety of the southern border with Egypt.

Democrats Surprised to Learn Bombs Are Used to Bomb People

Bombs kill people. When someone provides bombs to a government at war, those weapons will be used to kill people. It's a simple fact but one that seems to have eluded Democrats.

After voting to send bombs to the Israeli military, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D–Mass.) condemned the Israeli military for killing Palestinian civilians with an American-made bomb. And after urging the Israeli military to use smaller munitions, the Biden administration found itself scrambling to deal with a mass civilian casualty event caused by one of those smaller weapons.

On Sunday (May 25), the Israeli Air Force bombed Tel al-Sultan, a neighborhood of Rafah that Israel had previously designated a safe zone for fleeing civilians. The Israeli government claimed the airstrike successfully killed two senior Hamas commanders. But a fire started by the bomb spread through the densely-packed tent city, burning to death at least 45 people, including 12 women, eight children, and three elderly. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the civilian deaths were a "tragic mistake."

British doctor James Smith called the fire "one of the most horrific things that I have seen or heard of in all of the weeks that I've been working in Gaza." CNN found pieces of a GBU-39/B Small Diameter Bomb, a type of 250-pound bomb that the U.S. military had rush-shipped to Israel following the Hamas attacks last October, with serial numbers from a California manufacturer.

"The Israeli bombing of a refugee camp inside a designated safe zone is horrific," Warren stated on social media. "Israel has a duty to protect innocent civilians and Palestinians seeking shelter in Rafah have nowhere safe to go. Netanyahu's assault of Rafah must stop. We need an immediate cease-fire."

Last month, Warren had voted for a $26.38 billion U.S. military aid package to Israel, as Rep. Thomas Massie (R–Ky.) pointed out. "Ma'am, you voted to send those bombs to Israel," he wrote in a response to Warren's statement.

🇨🇳 China-Arab Ties Strengthen Amid Multipolarity and Geopolitical Shifts

Chinese-Arabian relations, particularly with Saudi Arabia and the UAE, are rapidly growing due to the multipolarity trend, US pressure on China and conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza.

At the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized China's commitment to partnership for peace and stability.

The forum saw the participation of leaders from Egypt, UAE, Bahrain and Tunisia. Additionally, China and Russia have positioned themselves as leaders of BRICS, which now includes UAE and Egypt, with Saudi Arabia also invited to join.

Arab states have shown more support for China’s peace plan for Ukraine than Western proposals, with Saudi Arabia suggesting China as a key intermediary for a Gaza ceasefire.

Here is the economic foundation for this Arab-Chinese rapprochement:

🌏 China sources over one-third of its oil from six Gulf Cooperation Council members, with only Russia supplying more than Saudi Arabia (85.9 million metric tons in 2023).

🌏 A significant portion of Saudi-Chinese oil trade is conducted in ‘petro-yuans’, attributed to "geopolitical risks," according to Silk Road Fund chairman Zhu Lun.

🌏 De-dollarization and expansion of Arab-Chinese trade to the non-energy sectors were the goals set by Xi during his visit to Riyadh in December 2022. He called for more investment in AI and green tech.

🌏 In June 2023, Riyadh signed a $5.6 billion deal with a Chinese electric carmaker to establish a joint venture in Saudi Arabia.

🌏 Xi proposed creating a "joint space debris observation center" and developing space aircraft for scientific and passenger missions with Arab countries.

🌏 At the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, China signed Belt and Road cooperation agreements with all 22 Arab countries and the Arab League, implementing over 200 major projects benefiting nearly 2 billion people. China expects diplomatic support from Arab nations on the Taiwan issue.

US Hegemony Threatened As Saudis, UAE, India Ignore Threats of Sanctions, Turn to Russia/China — The Mcgwire / PsyopDaily

....Conclusion

The AIIB and BRICS will likely play a large role in the new economic world order discussed in my last publication from a week ago.
The AIIB already has half of NATO signed on, and is gaining traction with the Silk Road Belt and Road initiative.... BRICS members South Africa and India have remained relatively neutral, although... they are looking to cozy up with the Russia/China axis.... The same goes for the gulf states, although they are not BRICS [now Saudi Arabia is]

As Saudi Arabia is seeking to abandon the Petrodollar, India is seeking to phase out the dollar as a reserve currency in trade with Russia, the dollar’s reserve currency status faces a great threat... as multiple countries bolster relations with Russia and Chin... and defy the US’s wishes and implicit or direct threats, this could embolden others to do the same in the future-dismantling US hegemony. We could be witnessing the fall of the US empire, and its reserve currency, coincided by the rise of an emerging power structure and world economic system in which BRICS nations rise as the new dominant power of the globe.

May 28th — New Israeli Attack on Displacement Camp Kills Scores of Gazans, Third One in Two Days

The attack targeted an area where Palestinians have fled to as a result of indiscriminate bombardment on the southern city of Rafah

Israeli forces committed another massacre near Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah on the afternoon of 28 May, killing over 20 Palestinians in the third attack of its kind in two days.

According to Gaza’s Civil Defense spokesman, four artillery shells targeted tents for displaced Palestinians in the coastal Al-Mawasi area south of the strip and west of Rafah. Gaza’s Health Ministry said at least 20 were killed in the attack, carried out with artillery shells.

..Footage shared on social media showed scores of bodies on the ground as people nearby screamed and prayed.

Just hours earlier, Israeli artillery and tank fire targeted tents in the Tal al-Sultan area in northwestern Rafah, the same area where a massacre was committed by Israel on Sunday.

“Seven people were killed, and others were injured, as a result of artillery shelling that targeted tent camps for displaced people … in Tal al-Sultan area, northwest of the city of Rafah,” WAFA news agency reported on Tuesday.

The deadly attack on Tal al-Sultan came as Israeli forces are pressing ahead with their operation in Rafah, which began on 7 May and has forcibly displaced one million Palestinians.

At least 40 Palestinians were killed on 26 May in Israeli airstrikes on a tent camp in northwestern Rafah.

The Israeli attack on Sunday evening used over six missiles, and left several women and children dead. The area targeted had been designated as a safe zone by Israel and was sheltering thousands of displaced Palestinians.

The massacre came two days after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to halt its military offensive in Rafah as part of the ongoing genocide case filed by South Africa.

People in the US, France, Turkiye, and elsewhere took to the streets on 27 May in protest against Israel’s violence.

Las Vegas Alien Video Shows 2 ‘Beings’ Using ‘Cloaking’ Device, Says Expert

A Las Vegas alien video shows at least two “beings” using a “cloaking device” in a backyard, according to a veteran crime scene reconstruction analyst, Fox News reported.

Detailed analysis of Las Vegas alien video by expert Scott Roder
Scott Roder, who has testified in many high-profile criminal cases, analyzed the video of the reported alien sighting in Las Vegas, examining it frame by frame.

Roder worked with Jim Quirk, a reporter who runs the Extraterrestrial Reality podcast, to recreate the scene in the Las Vegas backyard on April 30, 2023. Quirk shared videos and images with Fox News Digital.

He pointed out that in one second of the video, which contains 30 frames, there is a “head… with smoke around it,” which he described as “some sort of cloaking device,” moving into the top right corner of the video and looking over the fence.

“I applied the same principles that I would apply to any kind of homicide investigation,”
said Roder, who testified in cases like Oscar Pistorious’ murder trial. “At this particular time, with what we’ve seen here, is proof of a couple of things. That these entities… are real. They’re there. This is not fake. This is not a fraud.”

Shortly thereafter, Angel Kenmore called 911, reporting that he saw a “tall, skinny alien creature with greenish color,” about 8 to 10 feet tall, hiding behind their forklift in the backyard.

Government Sacrificing Hostages, Families Say, Following Fraught Hanegbi Meet

Top Netanyahu aide reportedly told families moves being driven by polling; Likud MK apologizes after accusing hostage's brother of using situation to promote political agenda

Relatives of hostages held in the Gaza Strip accused the government on Friday of “sacrificing” their loved ones, after a heated meeting attended by some of the families Thursday in which National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi reportedly said Israel would not end the war in Gaza for a deal to save all the abductees.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum also panned Likud MK Hanoch Milwidsky, who accused the brother of hostage Itzik Elgarat of using his suffering to promote an anti-government agenda.

One perspective on Trump's conviction.

Prosecutors Got Trump — But They Contorted the Law

The following are all undeniable facts.

"“No man is above the law.” It’s become cliché, but it’s an important point, and it’s worth pausing to reflect on the importance of this core principle. But it’s also meaningless pablum if we unquestioningly tolerate (or worse, celebrate) deviations from ordinary process and principle to get there. The jury’s word is indeed sacrosanct, as I learned long ago. But it can’t fix everything that preceded it. Here, prosecutors got their man, for now at least — but they also contorted the law in an unprecedented manner in their quest to snare their prey."

US and UK Launch Round of Heavy Airstrikes on Yemen

The US and the UK launched multiple airstrikes in Yemen, the first time the two countries launched a joint heavy bombing on the country in over three months.

Yemeni media reported that five airstrikes hit Yemen’s Red Sea province of Hodeida and that a radio building was hit in one of the strikes, and at least two people were killed in the al-Hawk district. A communications network in the neighboring Taiz province was also reported to be targeted.

US Central Command said that its forces “alongside UK Armed Forces conducted strikes against 13 Houthi targets” in Houthi-controlled Yemen, which is where most Yemenis live. CENTCOM said that it also conducted unilateral strikes that it claimed destroyed eight Houthi drones in Yemen and over the Red Sea.

The British Defense Ministry said that its forces “participated in a joint operation with US forces against Houthi military facilities to degrade their ability to persist with their attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.”

The bombing marks the fifth time that the US and the UK launched joint airstrikes on Yemen since January.
