You get to promise shit to your constituents, get to DC and then basically do whatever the hell you want. You get to completely backstab the people who sent you there, do nothing but line your own pockets, vote against all things American, suck Israeli dick, funnel money through Ukraine and get rich.
When it comes election time again and your constituents are pissed off, all you have to do is go to them, say a few anti-woke things, talk about God, country, how woke and backward Democrats are and promise some bullshit about the border you never intend to fix.
The people are retarded as all hell and instantly forget about all the fuckery and back-stabbing you did and say, "Well it's better to vote for a Republican than a Democrat, and if I don't vote at all it means a Democrat wins!"
The crayon eaters vote for you again and it's back to DC to fuck the American people some more. Yeah I tell ya, pretty sweet gig indeed, damn if I had no soul I'd think of running for Republican office myself.

Polish President Says Country Is Willing to Host NATO Nukes
The leader of Poland said Warsaw was willing to host nuclear weapons from a NATO country in response to Russia moving strategic arms into Belarus. The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk called the proposal “absolutely massive.”
In an interview with Fakt, Polish President Andrzej Duda expressed his willingness to host NATO nuclear weapons. “I must admit that when asked about [hosting nuclear weapons], I declared our readiness. Recently, [Russia] has been relocating its nuclear weapons to Belarus,” he said. “If our allies decide to deploy nuclear weapons as part of nuclear-sharing also on our territory to strengthen the security of NATO’s eastern flank, we are ready for it.”
Duda went on to say that he expects some but not universal access to nuclear weapons if they are moved onto Polish territory. “We don’t have such a tradition. There has never been, unless my memory serves me wrong, such complete universal access to weapons in Poland.” He continued, “We can discuss loosening some of the shackles of requirements in this area, but I would be cautious about completely universal access to weapons.”
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk appeared alarmed by the leader’s remarks. “I would also like any potential initiatives to be, first of all, very well prepared by the people responsible for them and (I would like) all of us to be absolutely positive that we want it,” the prime minister explained. “This idea is absolutely massive, I would say, and very serious (and) I would need to know all the circumstances that have led the president to make this declaration.”
The Polish foreign affairs minister was also critical of Duda’s proposal, saying, “This would be a very serious decision, all the circumstances of which should be discussed, primarily in the Council of Ministers. So far, there has been no such discussion at the Council of Ministers.”
Previously proposed by lower-level Polish officials, moving NATO nuclear weapons further eastward would likely be seen as highly provocative by Russia, especially as Poland hosts the AEGIS Ashore missile defense system. While those launchers are ostensibly intended for air defense, the AEGIS is also capable of firing nuclear-tipped Tomahawk missiles for offensive operations. The Kremlin said the presence of the AEGIS system in Poland, and an additional battery in Romania, presents a strategic threat to Moscow.

Like, why do we allow that to continue?”

I am still trying to fully understand the political situation in Hungary ahead of the European elections in June, but I find the opposition leader Péter Magyar’s rise to this position potentially suspect.
Péter Magyar is the ex-husband of the former Minister of Justice Judit Varga, who served under the current Prime Minister Viktor Orbán (Fidesz). Varga resigned from the position last year at around the same time she announced she was divorcing her husband Péter Magyar. Earlier this year, Varga withdrew completely from public life and returned her parliamentary mandate after it was made public she co-signed a controversial pardon.
In late March this year, Varga’s ex-husband, Péter Magyar, leaked a recording of a private conversation between the two of them from last year, alleging corruption within the current Orbán government.
Péter Magyar, who was once closely affiliated with the Fidesz elite, is now a main challenger to Viktor Orbán.
This is just scratching the surface of the situation. And it’s important to remember that the previous opposition leader Péter Márki-Zay, who ran against Orbán in 2022 and lost, received HUF 1.8 billion from a US think-tank, Action for Democracy. Action for Democracy was created in February 2022 just before the Hungarian elections in April that year.

In what is certainly an important moment for the BRICS alliance, Russia and China have completely ditched the US Dollar for trade. Indeed, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has recently stated that the economic bilateral relations between the two countries have undergone near-complete de-dollarizaiton.
The abandonment of the greenback in these trade dealings has been a continued goal for the economic alliance. Now, more than 90% of the nation’s bilateral trade dealings are settled in either the yuan or ruble. Subsequently, the two countries are now set to continue those efforts that have heeded monumental results.

Throughout the last several years, the BRICS economic alliance has held firm to the hope for de-dollarization in the global south. Majority of Israelis Mistrust Gaza Resettlement Plans
The annexation, ethnic cleansing, and establishment of Jewish settlements in Gaza are among Israel's war aims
A new poll from the Israel Democracy Institute found that just a fifth of Israelis, 19 percent, believe that Israel should establish Jewish settlements in a conquered Gaza Strip when the current war ends, Haaretz reported on 22 April.
The number increased to 22.5 percent for Jewish Israelis, which the institute notes has declined by 3 percent since December 2023. Support for the building of settlements in Gaza was highest among Israel's Haredi Jews (ultra-Orthodox) at 52 percent.
For religious Zionists, 39 percent said they support resettlement; for self-identified traditional Jews, 28 percent claimed to support it; and for secular Jews, seven percent said they support it.
Shortly after Israel's war on Gaza began in October, indications emerged suggesting the ethnic cleansing and annexation of Gaza and the rebuilding of the Gush Katif settlement bloc was a major war aim of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet.
When asked what should be done now that most of Israel's forces have left Gaza, 33 percent of Israelis said control of the besieged enclave should be transferred to an international force, 24 percent said that a small number of Israeli troops should continue to occupy Gaza to maintain military control, and 13 percent said that it should be handed over to the Palestinian Authority (PA).
Prime Minister Netanyahu has rejected both the PA and an international force controlling Gaza following the war.
...The institute also examined the claim that Israelis are not aware of the massive destruction in Gaza caused by Israel's unrelenting bombing campaign, which has entered its seventh month and killed over 34,000 people. The poll found that 87 percent of Jewish Israelis and 68 percent of Arab Israelis said that they had seen a few or many images or videos of the destruction.
“In other words,” the poll authors said, “the claim regarding the lack of exposure in the Israeli public would seem to be ungrounded.”

The annexation, ethnic cleansing, and establishment of Jewish settlements in Gaza are among Israel's war aims
A new poll from the Israel Democracy Institute found that just a fifth of Israelis, 19 percent, believe that Israel should establish Jewish settlements in a conquered Gaza Strip when the current war ends, Haaretz reported on 22 April.
The number increased to 22.5 percent for Jewish Israelis, which the institute notes has declined by 3 percent since December 2023. Support for the building of settlements in Gaza was highest among Israel's Haredi Jews (ultra-Orthodox) at 52 percent.
For religious Zionists, 39 percent said they support resettlement; for self-identified traditional Jews, 28 percent claimed to support it; and for secular Jews, seven percent said they support it.

The report highlighted significant transaction volumes originating from countries like Argentina and Venezuela, where citizens face hyperinflation and stringent financial controls.

Sanaa expressed outrage after hundreds of bodies were found under Gaza’s Nasser Hospital, calling it an ‘unparalleled level of Zionist hate’
Yemen’s armed forces threatened on 22 April to expand military operations against Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea, Arab Sea, and Indian Ocean following the discovery of mass graves in Gaza’s Nasser Medical Complex.
“For the seventh month in a row, the genocidal crimes of the Israeli enemy continue, the latest of which is the brutal massacre in the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis,” the armed forces said via a statement on Yemen’s Al-Masirah channel.
The statement continued, “the genocidal crimes that the Palestinian people are facing in Gaza and the occupied West Bank reflect an unparalleled level of Zionist hatred and crime.”
The statement by Yemen called to “escalate their operations in the Red Sea,” adding that Sanaa continues its full support for the people of Gaza.
On Sunday, over 200 bodies were found across two mass graves located in Khan Yunis’ Nasser Medical Complex. Gaza’s Government Media Office announced that about 700 victims are expected to be found.
“We found in the Nasser Complex corpses without heads and bodies without skins, and some of them had their organs stolen,” the media office said. “The occupation executed dozens of displaced, wounded, sick, and medical staff.”
Yemen’s statement said that the west was to blame for the continued crimes on Gaza, saying, “If it hadn’t been for US and western support, the shameful Arab silence, and powerlessness of the UN, the Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people would not have occurred.”
The Yemeni armed forces have overwhelmed the forces they deem to be enemies of Palestine. Earlier in April, Yemen’s attacks led to the French Aquitaine-class FREMM frigate Alsace’s retreat from the Red Sea following the ship’s complete exhaustion of munitions.
...Earlier in April, the Yemeni armed forces drones announced its targeting of two Israeli ships, MSC Darwin and MSC Gina, and two US ships, Maersk Yorktown and a warship, in the Gulf of Aden.

Although battles may continue, the regional war that started on October 7 ended on April 13 with Iran's strikes on Israel. Just as the Syrian war ended in September 2015 when Russia's airforce entered Syrian skies.
