US, UK, France, Jordan Team up To Defend Israeli Airspace

Israel’s allies have detailed their participation in the interception of Iranian fire during Operation True Promise

The US army said on 15 April that it shot down dozens of drones and several missiles launched from Iran and Yemen during Tehran’s Operation True Promise.

The statement condemned Iran’s “unprecedented, malign, and reckless behavior” and said the US “remains postured to support Israel’s defense against these dangerous actions.”

...On Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed his country’s participation in intercepting projectiles launched at Israel during the Iranian attack. Macron added that France’s involvement occurred “at Jordan's request” as French jets were flying in Amman’s airspace.

Amman said in a cabinet statement the day before that ‘’some unidentified flying objects that entered our airspace last night were dealt with and intercepted to prevent endangering the safety of our citizens and inhabited areas.''

It added that “fragments fell in multiple locations during this incident without causing any significant damage or injuries among citizens.” Jordan faced significant backlash from citizens, who criticized Amman’s endangerment of the Jordanian population in order to prevent Iranian fire from reaching Israel.

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said on Sunday that the British Royal Air Force (RAF) shot down “a number” of Iranian drones during the attack on Israel.

“We pay tribute to the bravery and the professionalism of our pilots flying into the face of danger to protect civilians,” Sunak said.

Iran’s attack began late on 13 April and extended into the early hours of the following day. It came as a response to the destruction of the Iranian consulate in Syria early this month, which killed several top officials and advisors.

The main targets were the Nevatim airbase – from where Israeli jets took off to attack Iran’s consulate on 1 April – and Israeli intelligence centers in the Jabal al-Sheikh heights between Syria and Israel’s territory, Iran’s army said.

Israel confirmed that the Nevatim base was damaged.

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said on Sunday Iran attacked with over 120 ballistic missiles, 170 drones, and more than 30 cruise missiles.

As a Christian who knows Bishop Mar Mari personally, I would like to issue a personal statement of forgiveness for the perpetrator, as I know the Bishop would want of everyone.

As Christians, we do not hold hatred in our hearts. We seek justice and truth, and truth will prevail here.

The Bishop is a defender of Palestinians and has spoken of their suffering. He values all life as Jesus does. He is anti-war. He is anti-NWO. He understands there are evil forces in this world working to further divide everyone and cause hatred.

As the Military Industrial Complex and the war-mongers push for WW3 by stoking hatred amongst the communities, the peacemakers continue to call for peace.

We won’t take the bait.

Christ is King.

Did The Cradle hurt Israel's feelings?

🤔

Israeli ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan said yesterday that Israel is "NOT a frog in boiling water."

Who says it is?

Well, The Cradle did actually, 3 weeks ago, in an exclusive analysis called 'How do Iranians boil a frog?' written by Shivan Mahendrarajah.

The analogy, and our video on it, went viral in multiple languages.

The article likens Iran's measured, long-game approach to Israel - to boiling a frog, one degree at a time.

Now, Gilad Erdan, the UN's consummate showman, has taken the frog narrative right to the UN Security Council.

We're always happy to put words in Israel's mouth.

Israeli War Cabinet Tears at the Seams Following Iranian Strikes

The National Security Minister and Defense Minister have clashed on multiple occasions in the past year regarding how to prosecute its war on Gaza and policy toward West Bank settlers

Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to fire Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on 15 April, after the Israeli army began preparations to dismantle the illegal Gal Yosef outpost in the occupied West Bank.

“Defense Minister Gallant’s decision to evacuate and destroy buildings on the Gal Yosef farm where 14-year-old Benjamin Achimeir was murdered, even during the week of shiva [mourning], represents terrible obtuseness, moral confusion, security folly, and a violation of the dignity of the dead,” Ben Gvir said.

“Instead of establishing and approving more farms and expanding Jewish settlement, we surrender to the enemy,” the far-right minister said, declaring that “the time has come for the prime minister to consider replacing Minister Gallant.”

The dispute between Ben Gvir and Gallant, both members of Israel's war cabinet, comes amid efforts to plan a response to Iran's retaliatory attack on Israel on Saturday. Iran launched hundreds of drones and missiles at Israeli military bases in response to Israel's attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus earlier this month.

National Security Minister Ben Gvir has called for Defense Minister Gallant to be fired multiple times over the past year for what Ben Gvir views as Gallant's mistakes in prosecuting the war on Gaza and insufficient support for Jewish settlers in the West Bank, including their use of violence against Palestinians.

Jewish settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are illegal under international law but remain legal under Israeli law. However, outposts such as Gal Yosef are also illegal under Israeli law. Settlers establish outposts on stolen Palestinian land, hoping the outposts will later be legalized under Israeli law and grow into becoming settlements.

Fourteen-year-old Benjamin Achimeir went missing from the Gal Yosef outpost on Friday. He had been grazing sheep, and the sheep returned to the farm without him, Israeli police said.

Today is the deadline for the US Government to submit its assurances to the UK courts in the case of Julian Assange.

The USG was offered to provide assurances that Mr. Assange would be granted First Amendment protections and that he will not face the death penalty once on US soil, if extradited.

The assurances can be reversed at any time, and the US has broken assurances in previous extradition cases.

It makes no undertaking to withdraw the prosecution's previous assertion that Julian has no First Amendment rights because he is not a U.S citizen. WHAT CAUSED THE UAE STORMS & TORRENTIAL RAIN? YES, IT WAS CLOUD SEEDING — Grazia

The NCM confirmed "six trips" for cloud seeding were conducted

Extensive rainfall and storms took over the UAE on Tuesday with work-from-home orders being issued by the government for public sector employees and schools.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) warned residents about the heavy rains that started in the early hours of the day.

Strong winds and torrential downpours were reported in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, while videos of golfball-sized hail in Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain and parts of the UAE capital also circulated online.

Rain in the UAE: Did cloud seeding cause the storms?

GRAZIA Middle East spoke to a meteorology expert from the NCM, who confirmed that cloud seeding operations had been conducted in the last 24 hours.
The representative also shared details on how many of the trips took place.

“Whenever there are clouds in the sky, we conduct cloud seeding operations. From yesterday till today [Tuesday afternoon], we carried out six trips,”
he said.

It was also confirmed but the representative that we will see a drop in temperatures in the UAE due to the cloud seeding.

Arabian Business: UAE Heavy Rains, Thunder, and More: Inside the NCM’s Cloud Seeding Missions

In an exclusive interview with Arabian Business, UAE Research Program for Rain Enhancement Science (UAEREP) Director Alya Al Mazrouei discusses cloud seeding missions, rainfall targets and more

The UAE’s cloud seeding missions have seen tremendous success over the past two decades, positioning it as a leader in the space and one of the first Gulf countries to adopt this technology to increase rainfall and combat water scarcity – especially during the summer months.

In an exclusive interview with Arabian Business, UAE Research Program for Rain Enhancement Science (UAEREP) Director Alya Al Mazrouei discussed the process behind these cloud seeding missions, the country’s rainfall targets, and more.

Cloud seeding is a technique used in the UAE to increase rainfall. This is done by putting tiny particles into clouds, which help water droplets come together and form rain.

The UAE National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) is in charge of the UAEREP which controls the cloud seeding operations. They focus on specific clouds in the northeast mountains where it’s more likely to rain in the summer....
