🚨BREAKING: MOSCOW CONCERT ATTACKERS TESTIFY THEY WERE PAID BY UKRAINE
Testimonies reveal Ukraine's clearance of a minefield near the Russian border ahead of an escape following a massacre.
"We were told to go to Ukraine in Kiev"
The terrorists were promised that it was there that they would be given 1 million rubles each.
The detainees until the last minute received instructions from their curator, who promised that they would wait for the creatures at the border and help them get to Kyiv.
In Ukraine, two corridors were prepared for fugitives at once. The Ukrainian Armed Forces cleared mines along the border areas of the villages of Chuikovka and Sopych in the Sumy region.

US Will Not Accept Chinese Imports Decimating New Industries, Yellen Says
U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned China on Monday that Washington will not accept new industries being decimated by Chinese imports, as she wrapped up four days of meetings to press her case for Beijing to rein in excess industrial capacity.
Yellen told a press conference that U.S. President Joe Biden would not allow a repeat of the "China shock" of the early 2000s, when a flood of Chinese imports destroyed about 2 million American manufacturing jobs.
She did not, however, threaten new tariffs or other trade actions should Beijing continue its massive state support for electric vehicles (EVs), batteries, solar panels and other green energy goods.
Yellen used her second trip to China in nine months to complain that Beijing's overinvestment has built factory capacity far exceeding domestic demand, while fast-growing exports of these products threaten companies in the U.S. and other countries....
"We've seen this story before," she told reporters. "Over a decade ago, massive PRC (People's Republic of China) government support led to below-cost Chinese steel that flooded the global market and decimated industries across the world and in the United States."
Yellen added: "I've made it clear that President Biden and I will not accept that reality again."
When the global market is flooded with artificially cheap Chinese products, she said, "the viability of American and other foreign firms is put into question."
Yellen said her exchanges with Chinese officials had advanced American interests and that U.S. concerns over excess industrial capacity were shared by Washington's European allies, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines and other emerging markets.
PUSHBACK
China's vice finance minister, Liao Min, told Chinese media that Beijing "has fully responded" to U.S. questions on overcapacity and expressed "grave concern" over restrictions Washington imposes on trade and investment.
Liao said China's "current competitive advantages are rooted in China's large-scale market, complete industrial system and abundant human resources," decrying the "escalation of green protectionist measures by some developed economies."
"China will not sit idly and ignore it," Liao said in remarks published on the ministry's website.
China's parliament, the National People's Congress, said in March the government would take steps to curb industrial overcapacity.
But Beijing says the recent focus by the U.S. and Europe on the risks from China's excess capacity is misguided.
Chinese officials say the criticism understates innovation by companies in China and overstates the importance of state support in driving their growth. They also say tariffs or other trade curbs will deprive global consumers of green energy alternatives key to meeting global climate goals.

Biden Says Israel Is Doing What He Asked, Signaling No Change in US Support
Israel says it's opening an additional border crossing into northern Gaza but only 'temporarily'
President Biden said on Friday that Israel was doing what he asked, signaling he has no plans to alter his policy of full-throated support for the Israeli slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza despite the killing of an American citizen and six other workers for the World Central Kitchen.
A day earlier, Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to announce and implement “a series of specific, concrete, and measurable steps to address civilian harm, humanitarian suffering, and the safety of aid workers” and said US policy would be “determined by our assessment of Israel’s immediate action on these steps.”
After the call, the Israeli government announced it would open the Erez border crossing into northern Gaza to facilitate the flow of aid but said the step would only be “temporary.” The Israeli cabinet also approved sending humanitarian supplies to Gaza through the port of Ashdod and allowing aid trucks from Jordan to transit through Israel.
It’s unclear if the Israeli steps will bring any real relief, as Gaza’s entire population is facing crisis levels of food shortages, and the US State Department has acknowledged famine may already be occurring in some areas of the Strip due to the Israeli siege. But the half-measures appear to have placated Biden.
When asked on Friday before boarding Marine One if he threatened to cut off military aid to Israel, Biden said, “I asked them to do what they’re doing.” He was also asked if he was “abandoning” Israel and replied, “Are you serious?”
Biden has approved over 100 weapons shipments to Israel throughout its genocidal campaign in Gaza despite the massive civilian casualties. The latest known package was approved on April 1, the same day Israel bombed the Iranian consulate in Damascus, killed the seven WCK workers, and left Gaza’s Al Shifa hospital in ruins.

Protests Calling for Gaza Exchange Deal, Early Elections Sweep Israel
Protesters say Prime Minister Netanyahu is not seeking to free the captives held in Gaza and instead wishes to continue the war
Tens of thousands of Israelis took to the streets in protest of the Netanyahu government on the evening of 6 April, calling for early elections and demanding an immediate deal to secure the release of the 133 captives still held by Hamas in Gaza, Haaretz reported.
Protests took place in multiple Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Be'er Sheva, Haifa, and Caesarea, and were joined by members of the captives' families...
Protesters chanted, "Police, police, who exactly are you guarding," and "Ben-Gvir is a terrorist," referring to Itamar Ben Gvir, the National Security Minister who has opposed a deal with Hamas to reach a ceasefire and release the Israeli captives.
Five protesters were run over by a driver who refused to obey police orders when encountering the demonstrators...
In Jerusalem, Sharon Sharabi, whose brother Yossi was taken captive by Hamas but killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza and whose other brother Eli is still captive, said that the agreement between the state and its citizens was "violated on October 7. It doesn't matter if they are religious or secular, right-wing or left-wing, Ashkenazi or Sephardi."
....Former Mossad Chief Danny Yatom said during the demonstration that Netanyahu was seeking to keep the war in Gaza going because "it seems to him that as long as the guns are roaring, it is easier for him to 'dissolve' his criminal trial," and that freeing the captives was not a priority for the prime minister...
In the protest in Haifa, former Shin Bet head Ami Ayalon said that "the military campaign in Gaza has reached its limit."
"Our soldiers are forced to re-occupy places that were occupied a few weeks ago and become police forces for a population full of rage and hatred," he added.
Adina Moshe, who was taken captive by Hamas on 7 October but released following a temporary ceasefire deal in November... directed her comments at Netanyahu, saying: "I want you to know that if they don't come back, their blood is on your hands. You betrayed us... you will remain forever guilty."
... Yael Or, the niece of the captive Dror Or, blamed the government for failing to reach a deal. "Netanyahu continues to torpedo a deal for the release of the hostages as they die in captivity," she said.

Right Time To Do A Hostage Deal, Says Israel's Defence Minister
Israel's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said Monday it is the right time to do a hostage deal with Hamas, a day after the military pulled out troops from Gaza's main southern city.
With indirect talks between Israel and Hamas on a Gaza truce and a hostage deal going on in Cairo, Gallant told Israeli army recruits that, "I think we are at an appropriate moment" to do a deal with the Islamist militants, six months into the war.
"The relentless pressure on Hamas and the position of strength from which we come into this campaign, allow us flexibility and freedom of action," he added, according to a statement issued by his office.
"There will be difficult decisions and we will be ready to pay the price in order to get the hostages back, and then return to fighting."

Iran Thwarts ISIS Terror Attack Planned for Eid Al-Fitr
Iran has been the target of multiple attacks by extremist groups in recent months
Iranian police arrested on 6 April a senior ISIS operative and two other members of the group accused of planning a suicide attack during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr celebrations for the end of Ramadan.
The police arrested Mohammad Zaker, known as “Ramesh,” and the men following a gunbattle in Karaj, west of the capital, Tehran.
The arrests come after Iranian security forces battled militants from Jaish al-Adl, a separatist ethnic Baluch group, for nearly 17 hours on Thursday. Gunbattles with the militant group, which has received support from the US and Israel in the past, left ten security officers and 18 militants dead.
The US and Israel have been accused of using ISIS and other extremist groups as proxies to attack their enemies in the past, including toppling the Syrian and Iraqi governments between 2013 and 2015.
Last month, an ISIS affiliate in Afghanistan claimed credit for an attack on a Moscow theatre in which gunmen opened fire with automatic weapons at concertgoers, killing at least 144 people.

Brazil's Jan. 8th: Riot or Protest? Revisiting In Wake of Bolsonaro Being Banned From Running For Office
Why were the Brazilians protesting? Despite what most of the mainstream media was reporting, it wasn’t just a tantrum because Bolsonaro loss. At least the millions of Brazilians who believe election fraud occurred don’t believe so… They have a specific demand. Millions of Brazilians wanted a public audit of the source code used in the election machines...
The armed forces of Brazil concluded that election fraud was not able to be ruled out. Much of Western media coverage on this topic doesn’t even give mention to this fact, let alone highlight it...
“The request from the Ministry of Defence was completely ignored by Justice Moraes”...This isn’t the only role she has played in polarizing Brazil and causing millions of Brazilians to feel disenfranchised. EVEN THE NEW YORK TIMES acknowledges the dangerous centralization of power that occured under Moraes’ direction, which has resulted in what many have perceived to be flagrant abuses of power.
The fact that most of the media refuses to acknowledge or address the protestors demand to audit the source code, or to provide background context —such as the blatant judicial overreach in the form of court-ordered censorship of political content— is inherit to an underlying factor in the growing distrust for institutions.
To reiterate, if you read most Western mainstream publications on Brazil’s Jan 6th-like event, you will find the protestor’s demands are rarely given anything more than a passing, dismissive mention.
The nuances of Brazil’s supreme court in terms of judicial overreach, especially in regards to social media, is extremely import to address when talking about the issue....
The Brazilians were demanding a *public* audit, to make the code open source, and media pundits gaslight and point to private audits to deflect from the demand, while failing to give any reason why the code can’t be open source, let alone a valid one. (A wise man once said nothing at all). But it isn’t just the question of election integrity that led to the events of the 8th. As stated, an interplaying factor was what millions of Brazilians are deeming to be judicial overreach by the Supreme court...
These corporate pundits preach about the sanctity of democracy... but don’t mention the breaches of the principles of democracy inspiring the protests in the first place...
On June 30th, it was reported that Brazil’s supreme court, the TSE, had barred Bolsonaro from running for office for 8 years...
In Moraes’ world, banning political opposition from running for office isn’t banana republic behavior…no…questioning the integrity of closed source elections, or demanding greater transparency in the electoral process is the behavior of banana republics. Likewise, according to Judge Moraes, banning the former president from running for office reflects “faith in democracy”.
Millions of Brazilians feel totally and utterly disenfranchised. Suppressing and squashing skepticism of closed source electoral code isn’t pro democracy. Censoring anybody for political speech let alone sitting congressmen, for daring to question the logistics and integrity of non-transparent democratic institutions and processes….isn’t pro-democracy. Banning the previous president Bolsonaro, who lost by a slim margin, from running again for almost a decade, isn’t pro-democracy.
Yet all of this has been done in the name of “protecting” democracy. What, who, is really being protected? Democracy, or the illusion of democracy? And what, who, is really being attacked? Democracy, or the civil and consitutional rights of the Brazilian people?

Netanyahu Says ‘There Is a Date’ for Rafah Invasion
The State Department says it hasn't been briefed on the plans
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that “there is a date” set for Israel’s plans to attack the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah but did not share when it would be.
“This victory requires entry into Rafah and the elimination of the terrorist battalions there. It will happen – there is a date,” Netanyahu said.
His comments came a day after the Israeli military withdrew troops from areas of southern Gaza, including the city of Khan Yunis, which was left in ruins.
Israeli Defense Minster Yoav Gallant said the purpose of the withdrawal was to prepare for the invasion of Rafah. Any Israeli assault on Rafah would incur huge civilian casualties as over one million Palestinians are packed into the city, and many are sheltering in tents on the street.
The Biden administration has expressed opposition to Israel’s plan to attack Rafah, but it doesn’t appear to be threatening any serious consequences if it happens. In response to Netanyahu’s comments about a date being set, the State Department said Israel has not briefed the US about the potential operation.

Nicaragua Takes Germany to ICJ for ‘Failing To Prevent Genocide
Managua's lawyers accused Berlin of taking a 'Pontius Pilate-like' stance by arguing that, despite arming Israel, they are not directly involved in the mass murder of Palestinians in Gaza
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) held a public hearing on 8 April to consider Nicaragua’s request for provisional measures against Germany over its support for Israel’s campaign of genocide in Gaza.
“My task this morning is to set out some of the facts underlying the dispute between Nicaragua and the Federal Republic [of Germany] brought before the court," German lawyer Daniel Muller said at the start of the hearing, representing the Central American nation. He stressed that the case focuses on Managua's demands that Berlin stop arming Israel and reverse its decision to stop funding the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
“To put it simply, the highest German officials have recognized that the situation in Gaza raises doubts about the respect of elementary rules of international law and that these questions need to be addressed,” Muller said. “Yet, while we speak, the export of German weapons and military equipment to Israel likely to be used to commit these grave violations of international law is continuing,” he added.
Muller also highlighted that Germany’s suspension of funding to UNRWA “jeopardized” vital aid for displaced Palestinians, as the country was the second largest donor to the agency after the US.

Scotland Police May Be Forced To Make Budget Cuts To Deal With Authoritarian Speech Complaints
Thousands of speech "crimes" have been reported since the controversial law was introduced last week.
Police Scotland is grappling with potential budgetary pressures and service reductions. David Threadgold of the Scottish Police Federation (SPF) has raised concerns about the financial impact of the Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act. According to him, the legislation has already led to an overload of calls, with over 6,000 logged since its enactment. This influx of reports, he fears, will necessitate cuts elsewhere in the police budget.
Threadgold’s worry centers on the unforeseen costs of handling these cases, particularly the overtime payments for control room staff. He believes these expenses will reverberate throughout the year, affecting other police services. Calum Steele, former general secretary of the SPF, echoes these concerns. As reported by The Scotsman, Steele criticized Police Scotland’s preparation for the Act, calling it “negligently unprepared” and pointing out that the additional costs were predictable.

🚨BREAKING: Russia Opens 'Financing Terrorism' Probe Implicating Western Countries
Russia on Tuesday opened a probe into "financing terrorism" that implicates Western countries, saying funds received by US firms in Ukraine -- including one that employed Joe Biden's son -- were used for "terrorism acts" in Russia.
The announcement came with Moscow continuing to blame the West and Ukraine for the attack on a concert hall last month that left 144 dead.
The attack on the Crocus City hall has been claimed by the Islamic State group and US officials have said they warned Moscow of an imminent attack.
Moscow's Investigative Committee said it was "investigating the sources of income" worth millions of dollars and the "involvement of specific individuals from government officials and public commercial organisations of Western countries".

🚩 New Peer-Reviewed Japanese Study Finds A ‘Statistically Significant Increases in Age-Adjusted Mortality Rates of Cancer’ After mRNA Vaccination
“No significant excess mortality was observed during the first year of the pandemic (2020). However, some excess cancer mortalities were observed in 2021 after mass vaccination with the first and second vaccine doses, and significant excess mortalities were observed for all cancers and some specific types of cancer (including ovarian cancer, leukemia, prostate cancer, lip/oral/pharyngeal cancer, pancreatic cancer, and breast cancer) after mass vaccination with the third dose in 2022. AMRs for the four cancers with the most deaths (lung, colorectal, stomach, and liver) showed a decreasing trend until the first year of the pandemic in 2020, but the rate of decrease slowed in 2021 and 2022. This study discusses possible explanations for these increases in age-adjusted cancer mortality rates.”

Top Israeli Officials Panic Over Wind-Down of Gaza War
The frustration follows a mass Israeli troop withdrawal from Gaza, which has left behind only a few hundred soldiers in the strip
Tensions continue to boil within Israel’s government as far-fight parties are expressing frustration over the slowdown of the war in the Gaza Strip.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir of the Otzma Yehudit party said on 8 April via his X account that if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “decides to end the war without an extensive attack on Rafah in order to defeat Hamas, he will not have a mandate to continue serving as Prime Minister.”
The Religious Zionist party’s Bezalel Smotrich called on Monday for the prime minister to immediately convene a meeting of the security cabinet in order to discuss the current state of the war in Gaza.
“The only forum authorized to make significant decisions in war is the full [security] cabinet, but unfortunately, this is not how things are happening,” Smotrich said in a statement.
“We are seeing decisions being made in the smaller [war] cabinet without approval, without updating the full cabinet, under international pressure that is harming the war’s momentum and our security interests,” he added.
The statements by Ben Gvir and Smotrich come one day after a withdrawal of the bulk of Israel’s troops from Gaza, which Hebrew media referred to as an official end to the Israeli ground operation in the strip, until further notice.
On Sunday evening, Israeli Army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi addressed the withdrawal, saying, "We still have a lot of forces in Gaza, and the war is long."
One brigade has been left in Gaza following the withdrawals, which were described by journalist Sherit Avitan Cohen as a “prelude” to operations in Rafah. Hundreds of soldiers remain in Gaza to secure the Netzarim corridor – which cuts the strip in half and is used by Israeli forces to prevent the return of the displaced to north Gaza.
Cohen added, however, that operations in Rafah have been postponed several times, and nobody knows why.
Israel had initially planned for a full-scale assault on the desperately overcrowded city – which is holding over a million besieged Palestinians, most of whom were displaced from other areas of Gaza. Washington has been pressuring Israel to carry out limited raids and “counterterrorism” operations in the southernmost city.

Israel to Condition Short-Term Gaza Ceasefire on US Backing for Rafah Op: Report
Ceasefire talks in Cairo remain deadlocked as the Palestinian resistance has accused Tel Aviv of being 'stubborn' by not agreeing to a sustainable ceasefire and a full withdrawal from Gaza
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich convened an urgent meeting of the Diplomatic-Security Cabinet on 9 April to discuss two conditions the ultranationalist official wants to set in exchange for a six-week ceasefire in Gaza.
According to Israel Hayom, Smotrich's first condition will be to secure US commitment “to back Israel's return to combat after a six-week ceasefire, particularly supporting the necessary action in Rafah.”
His second condition is to hinder the return of displaced Palestinians from the south to the north of Gaza “in a way that would allow Hamas to reorganize and maintain its force.”
The two proposals will be put to a vote at the cabinet meeting, according to the Israeli daily.
Smotrich's move is the latest sign of deepening divisions within the Israeli leadership after the country withdrew its forces from south Gaza, temporarily opened a second land crossing for the entry of humanitarian aid, and expanded the role of negotiators to reach a ceasefire deal.
The sudden change of pace sought to allay international condemnation for the genocide of tens of thousands of Palestinians and the bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
Nevertheless, embattled Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday night announced he had set a date for the ground invasion of Rafah, Gaza's southernmost city where 1.5 million Palestinians are taking shelter.
“Victory [over Hamas] requires entering Rafah and eliminating the terrorist battalions there. This will happen. There is a date,” Netanyahu said in a video statement.
Earlier in the day, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir expressed frustration with the decision to wind down the genocide in Gaza, saying via social media that if Netanyahu “decides to end the war without an extensive attack on Rafah in order to defeat Hamas, he will not have a mandate to continue serving as Prime Minister.”

Israel Lets AI Decide Who Dies in Gaza
The IDF is increasingly reliant on artificial intelligence to mark Palestinians for death – innocent or not
The Israeli military has employed yet another AI-based system to select bombing targets in the Gaza Strip, an investigation by +972 Magazine has revealed. The new system has generated sweeping kill lists condemning tens of thousands of Palestinians, part of the IDF’s growing dependence on AI to plan lethal strikes.
Citing six Israeli intelligence officers, the Tel Aviv-based magazine said the previously undisclosed AI system, dubbed ‘Lavender,’ has played a “central role in the unprecedented bombing” of Gaza since last October, with the military effectively treating its output “as if it were a human decision.”
“Formally, the Lavender system is designed to mark all suspected operatives in the military wings of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), including low-ranking ones, as potential bombing targets,” the outlet reported, adding that “during the first weeks of the war, the army almost completely relied on Lavender, which clocked as many as 37,000 Palestinians as suspected militants – and their homes – for possible air strikes.”
However, while thousands have been killed in the resulting air raids, the majority were “women and children or people who were not involved in the fighting,” the officers told the magazine, noting that Israeli field commanders often rely on the AI system without consulting more substantial intelligence.
“Human personnel often served only as a ‘rubber stamp’ for the machine’s decisions,” one source said, adding that many commanders spend a mere “20 seconds” reviewing targets before approving strikes – “just to make sure the Lavender-marked target is male.”

I’ve known for 10 years that Israel specifically targets women, children, journalists, disabled, medics and volunteers. Others have known for 20 or 30 years. Im glad the rest of the world is finally finding out.
