Russia Says Moscow Terrorist Attack Has Connection to ‘Ukrainian Nationalists’
The Russian Investigative Committee says it has evidence the gunmen received money that was traced back to Ukraine
Russian investigators said Thursday that they found evidence connecting the terrorist attack on a concert hall outside Moscow to “Ukrainian nationalists.”
“Investigators have verified information that large amounts of money and cryptocurrency that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack received trace back to Ukraine; the funds were used in preparing the crime,” Russia’s Investigative Committee said in a statement, according to Russia’s TASS news agency.
“Investigators’ work with the detained terrorists, the examination of technical equipment that was seized from them, and the analysis of information about financial transactions prove their connection to Ukrainian nationalists,” the statement added.
The ISIS affiliate based in Afghanistan, known as Islamic State – Khorasan Province, or ISIS-K, has taken credit for the shooting at Crocus City Hall, which killed over 140 people. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said “radical Islamists” carried out the attack but also suggested there was a link to Ukraine.
The US said from the very beginning that the attack was carried out by ISIS-K and dismissed the idea that Ukraine was involved. In response to the Russian Investigative Committee statement, the White House accused the Russians of being “manure salesman.”

The Israeli government, from its head to its most junior member, refuses to admit that many of those who live in Gaza are civilian noncombatants and that about half of the Strip's inhabitants are children. The public media debate in Israel also ignores this element of the situation in Gaza. After the death toll in the Strip, according to the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry, passed the 32,000 mark, including over 12,000 children, the discourse remained indifferent; even the discussion of humanitarian aid focuses on Israeli interests, without considering the human element.
The amount of food that is currently entering Gaza is insufficient for human survival, Francesco Cecchi, a professor of epidemiology and international health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine told Haaretz (Neta Ahituv, Haaretz Hebrew edition, March 27). According to the United Nations, the entire population of the Gaza Strip, some 2.3 million people, is suffering from high levels of acute food insecurity, and about one in four is on the brink of famine.
There are an estimated 50,000 pregnant women in the Gaza Strip, who are at high risk. About 90 percent of them suffer from catastrophic food insecurity; the rate is similar among nursing mothers, according to a statement by the World Health Organization in November. In recent weeks, the Gaza Health Ministry has reported 27 deaths from malnutrition, 23 of them children. The situation is the worst in the northern Strip, where 15.6 percent of children under the age of 2 who were screened in shelters and health centers – one out of six – were found to be acutely malnourished.
To address the criticism, the government is promoting the establishment of a multinational force to secure the introduction of humanitarian aid to the Strip. Its role will be to temporarily guard the pier that the Biden administration is building off the coast of Gaza and the convoys of trucks transporting the aid within the Strip. The establishment of the multinational force has two goals: to weaken Hamas' control so that its people will not be involved in aid distribution and to help Israel deal with the American pressure to expand the aid and improve the way it is delivered to residents.

Israel Deploys Facial Recognition Program, Utilizes Google Photos, in Gaza
Surveillance of citizens lacks consent, risks misidentifying individuals as militants.
The sweeping implementation of a facial recognition initiative is stirring controversy in the Gaza Strip, with the government of Israel reported to have utilized this technology to create a surreptitious database of Palestinian individuals. As disclosed by The Times, this utilization of biometric technology occurred without the informed consent or awareness of the Palestinian populace.
Following the incidents of October 7, Israeli intelligence put this program into motion with two key technological allies: an in-house tool fashioned by Corsight, a firm from Tel Aviv, and Google Photos. The operational goal was the identification of persons linked with Hamas.
The Israeli Defense Forces’ Unit 8200 stepped up surveillance post the October 7 attacks, scrutinizing Hamas’s social media videos, and security footage to identify potential targets. The Israeli military operatives also solicited help from detained Palestinians to identify Hamas affiliates from amongst their community members.
Bragging about its ability to identify individuals even with less than half of the face visible, Corsight became instrumental in Israel’s facial recognition endeavors. It used these photographs to develop a sophisticated tool of identification for Israeli enforcement officers in Gaza. The military further expanded this database by setting facial recognition-enabled checkpoints on primary roads used by Palestinians to flee south. An officer divulged to the Times that the aim was to create a “hit list” of active participants in the October 7th attack.
However, there have reportedly been instances when Corsight’s technology ended up misidentifying innocents as potential Hamas cohorts. Of note is the misidentification of Mosab Abu Toha, a Palestinian poet, who was apprehended at an Israeli checkpoint while attempting to travel to Egypt with his family. Abu Toha, according to the military’s system, was a wanted persona. Following a two-day duration of interrogation and abuse, he was summarily released back into Gaza sans an exoneration or explanation.
To bolster Corsight’s endeavors, the military has leveraged Google Photos – a freely available tool. Armed with a voluminous “known persons” database, intelligence officers are making use of Google’s photo search function to identify individuals, even when only a fraction of their facial features are discernible or visible.

US Approves Billions in More Bombs and Fighter Jets for Israel to Support Gaza Slaughter
A White House official reaffirmed that US aid to Israel is unconditional
The Biden administration has approved billions of dollars worth of bombs and fighter jets for Israel to support the slaughter and starvation of Palestinians in Gaza despite claims from US officials that they’re concerned about the massive civilian casualty rate.
US officials told The Washington Post that the administration approved the transfer of 500 MK82 500-pound bombs and more than 1,800 MK84 2,000-pound bombs, which Israel has used to kill scores of civilians by dropping them on Gaza’s densely populated cities.
The administration also approved the transfer of 25 F-35 fighter jets to Israel, a deal worth $2.5 billion that’s likely being paid for by US military aid to Israel. US officials said both transfers had been approved by Congress years ago and not fulfilled, so lawmakers were not notified about the final approval.
A White House official confirmed to the Post that US military aid to Israel is still unconditional. “Conditioning aid has not been our policy,” the official said.

The Biden administration has approved billions of dollars worth of bombs and fighter jets for Israel to support the slaughter and starvation of Palestinians in Gaza despite claims from US officials that they’re concerned about the massive civilian casualty rate.
US officials told The Washington Post that the administration approved the transfer of 500 MK82 500-pound bombs and more than 1,800 MK84 2,000-pound bombs, which Israel has used to kill scores of civilians by dropping them on Gaza’s densely populated cities.
The administration also approved the transfer of 25 F-35 fighter jets to Israel, a deal worth $2.5 billion that’s likely being paid for by US military aid to Israel. US officials said both transfers had been approved by Congress years ago and not fulfilled, so lawmakers were not notified about the final approval.
A White House official confirmed to the Post that US military aid to Israel is still unconditional. “Conditioning aid has not been our policy,” the official said.

Clinton is already working on an AI panic narrative ahead of the censorship push for 2024.
The last time the extent of Hillary Clinton’s tech “savviness” or lack thereof, became public knowledge was way back in 2016, when she lost the presidential election, amid, among other things, the (classified) emails scandal.
Now, Clinton has graduated from not knowing how email works, to feeling she is qualified to discuss the impact of immeasurably more complex technology, such as AI.
To give Clinton the benefit of the doubt, it has been a long time, and perhaps she has used that time to educate herself.
However, it also turns out that nearly a decade later she still blames her loss to Donald Trump on the since-debunked conspiracy theories about “election disinformation” that supposedly decide the outcome of that vote.
So, Clinton-the-victim’s comments now, half a year before the next US presidential election and amid mainstream media’s “disinformation/AI panic” might read as little, if anything, more than political campaigning.
She claims this is her focus now: still talking about the alleged wrongdoing done to her in 2016, still alleging this was all about “disinformation” – and that it was all “primitive” – compared to what she anticipates is happening now.

One Month Ago: Israeli Army Jeep Hits Two Palestinian Teens. Then One of Them Is Shot Point Blank
An Israeli army jeep, in hot pursuit of two Palestinian teens riding an electric bike, rams them and they are thrown to the ground. A soldier places his rifle on the neck of one of them and pulls the trigger. Imru Swidan, 17, remains in critical condition and paralyzed
This time, there's no room for doubt, or for questions, excuses or lies from the Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson's Unit: The videos testify to what happened. They show an armored jeep in hot pursuit of two youths who are riding an electric bicycle. The side of the jeep rams the riders forcefully, knocking them off the bike. One of them manages to escape, the other is lying on his stomach, his face to the road. One of the soldiers who emerge from the jeep places the barrel of his rifle on the boy's neck. The image is blurred, but an enlargement makes it unmistakable what happened next: A bullet enters the youth's neck, shattering the upper part of his spine. Paralyzed and on a ventilator, he now is in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Nablus.
