Dialog is an invite-only network co-founded by Peter Thiel, where U.S. officials and tech executives meet off the record once a year. This week its whole guest list spilled online, 222 people registered for its August retreat near Dublin.
Two names made it a national security problem. An active-duty intelligence officer, and a senior National Security Council official who advises Trump. Leaked on them: home addresses, dates of birth, mobile numbers, private login tokens.
And it wasn't a hack. The files sat behind a misconfigured page that opened with just an email, no password. Dialog still told members they got breached.
Now the Pentagon has opened a security review, because a club that hid its members for 20 years just handed a target list to every spy agency on earth.

A new Strength In Numbers/Verasight poll published on 24 June reveals broad US support for a deal to end the war on Iran.
The survey, conducted between 17–22 June, shows that 59 percent of US adults back the agreement, while only 24 percent oppose it.
However, this approval is paired with deep skepticism about the war and its long-term outcomes: only 18 percent of respondents believe the US achieved its goals in the war, and a 46 percent plurality argues that the US should never have gone to war in the first place.
Public confidence in the agreement itself remains low, with 61 percent doubting it will successfully stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.
This comes as US President Donald Trump’s approval rating sits at 37 percent against 60 percent disapproval, leaving him at a net -23.
Economically, half of the respondents feel the country is doing poorly, and 36 percent identify rising prices as their top concern.
Additionally, a 63 percent majority believes that US policies have ultimately benefited wealthy individuals and large corporations more than the average US citizen.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that only about one in four US citizens believe President Donald Trump’s war on Iran was worth its costs, while a majority say they doubt a ceasefire with Tehran will hold.
The five-day survey, which ended on Monday, also found declining support for Trump, whose approval rating fell to 34%, matching the lowest point of his second term previously recorded in an April poll.
Only 23% of respondents, including just half of Republicans, believe the US is in a stronger position with Iran compared with before the war. Around 35% say the US is in a weaker position, while the rest are either unsure or believe the situation is unchanged.
Only 24% of US citizens said the war was worth its costs, according to the poll, while 50% said it was not and the rest were undecided.

❗️Ukrainian Embassy in Beirut smuggles Mossad agent out of Lebanon under diplomatic cover
According to investigative reports published by Al-Mahatta, citing informed security sources, a sophisticated and highly organized operation successfully smuggled accused Israeli Mossad agent Khaled al-Ayda out of the Ukrainian embassy in Beirut. Ayda evaded justice by hiding inside the trunk of a vehicle belonging to the Ukrainian consul.
He was transported directly to the consul's residence and later transferred through an underground parking lot into a secondary vehicle. From there, he was handed over to active Mossad operational networks within Lebanon, who secured his final extraction by sea toward Cyprus.
This brazen escape follows extensive context built by previous Al-Mahatta investigations tracking Ayda’s highly dangerous history. Prior reports established that his involvement with Israeli intelligence is linked to severe breaches of national stability, including planning coordinated acts of violence and targeted attacks against Lebanese civilians. He was previously arrested red-handed while attempting to plant an explosive device in Beirut's southern suburb.
Seeking to escape accountability, Ayda took refuge within the Ukrainian embassy premises last March, utilizing their diplomatic protection to completely stonewall the Lebanese judiciary while under investigation.
The successful exfiltration of a wanted operative has triggered intense domestic blowback, putting the Lebanese Foreign Minister under direct political and administrative fire. Rather than launching an immediate investigation into how a foreign diplomatic mission actively shielded and smuggled a high-profile security threat, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs instead deflected accountability.
In a move heavily criticized in the Al-Mahatta brief, the minister chose to mount a legal offensive by filing a lawsuit against journalist Radwan Mortada, the investigative reporter who initially broke the story and exposed the embassy’s complicity to the public.
