❗️UK facilitated genocidal campaign in Sudan to protect lucrative diplomatic ties with Dubai

The British government deliberately suppressed intelligence and derailed international action to shield the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from accountability during the genocidal slaughter of 60,000 civilians in El-Fasher, a parliamentary committee has been told. War crimes investigator Nathaniel Raymond testified that the UK Foreign Office repeatedly ignored, questioned, or dismissed dozens of private briefings detailing the impending massacre by UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitaries.

Raymond accused London of prioritizing its economic, security, and diplomatic relationships with Abu Dhabi over preventing the intentional starvation and systematic extermination of the city's population.

According to evidence presented to MPs, British officials admitted behind the scenes that intense diplomatic pressure from the UAE severely restricted their ability to intervene. In a stunning admission of helplessness or complicity, the Foreign Office reportedly asked Raymond’s private university research lab to publicly leak sensitive tracking data exposing UAE arms pipelines via Ethiopia and Somalia, effectively asking academics to do the work of British intelligence services to avoid direct state-level confrontation with Abu Dhabi.

When the UN passed a toothless ceasefire resolution in 2024, the UAE briefly paused the offensive to test global reaction; once Abu Dhabi assessed that London would ensure zero unilateral or multilateral consequences, the RSF was ordered to resume the onslaught.

The testimony exposes how British officials maintained public silence even as UAE-supplied advanced weaponry bombarded vulnerable displacement camps like Zamzam, where humanitarians were executed on camera and women were taken as sexual slaves.

Raymond noted that despite the El-Fasher catastrophe being arguably the most accurately predicted mass atrocity in human history, British policymakers treated the staggering death toll of 60,000 as a political problem to be managed rather than a preventable genocide.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir warned on Tuesday that Israel may be forced to act alone against Iran, openly rejecting US diplomatic expectations. Speaking to Israel’s Channel 7 news, Ben-Gvir dismissed US policy toward Tehran's nuclear program.

❗️Israeli report alleges Qatar expanded economic & military cooperation with Iran since 2018

An Israeli foreign intelligence report alleges that Qatar has provided Iran with economic and military support for years, including assistance involving rocket fuel and materials used in drone production.

Israel’s Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) said the cooperation intensified in 2018 after US President Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear agreement signed three years earlier, and continued following 7 October 2023.

The report also adds that Qatar holds roughly $6 billion in frozen Iranian assets that are expected to become accessible under the agreement currently being negotiated between Washington and Tehran.

KAN did not identify the intelligence agency behind the report, nor disclose when it was produced or how it obtained the document.

According to the report, relations between Iran and Qatar deepened significantly in the late 2010s, leading to expanded trade and cooperation in the years that followed.

The intelligence report, as cited by KAN, says economic ties between Tehran and Doha strengthened after the collapse of the nuclear deal in 2018, a development that followed US withdrawal from the agreement at Israel’s urging. The year before, several Arab states, including Gulf neighbors, had cut ties with Qatar.

Iranian and Qatari officials subsequently increased high-level contacts. In 2020, Iranian state media highlighted warming relations, including a visit by Qatar’s emir to Tehran.

KAN reported, citing the intelligence assessment, that trade between Iran and Qatar expanded from 2018 onward, particularly in the energy sector, with Iran supplying energy products to Qatar.
