Trump Complains About Media Coverage Of Iran War In Truth Social Post Identical To One Issued Eight Days Ago - May 26, 2026

President Trump on Tuesday issued a post on Truth Social complaining about US media coverage of his war against Iran that was a word-for-word repeat of a post he made eight days ago.

Recent reporting from mainstream US media outlets citing unnamed US officials has revealed that US intelligence believes Iran maintains about 70% of its pre-war missile inventory and that the Iranian military is reconstituting itself much more quickly than expected, painting a drastically different picture than what the Trump administration has been claiming publicly.

Trump said in his post: “If Iran surrenders, admits their Navy is gone and resting at the bottom of the sea, and their Air Force is no longer with us, and if their entire Military walks out of Tehran, weapons dropped and hands held high, each shouting ‘I surrender, I surrender’ while wildly waving the representative White Flag, and if their entire remaining Leadership signs all necessary ‘Documents of Surrender,’ and admit their defeat to the great power and force of the magnificent U.S.A., The Failing New York Times, The China Street Journal (WSJ!), Corrupt and now Irrelevant CNN, and all other members of the Fake News Media, will headline that Iran had a Masterful and Brilliant Victory over The United States of America, it wasn’t even close.

He concluded that the “Dumacrats and Media have totally lost their way. They have gone absolutely CRAZY!!!

The president’s complaint comes as the full-scale US-Israeli bombing campaign against Iran could resume at any time, as the US launched strikes on southern Iran on Monday, and Israel is escalating its war in Lebanon.

❗️Iran's Supreme Leader says Israel nearing 'final stages' of its existence as region will no longer shield US bases

Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said on Tuesday, 26 May that the United States no longer possesses secure positions from which to project power in West Asia, warning that regional countries will “no longer serve as shields for American bases” following the latest war.

In a message addressed to Muslim pilgrims during the Hajj season, Khamenei said recent developments had weakened both Washington and Israel while strengthening the “Resistance Front,” including Iran and allied movements in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and elsewhere. He said the alliance had achieved “major victories” against “two heavily armed terrorist armies” during the US-Israeli war that began on 28 February.

Khamenei also described Israel as a “shaking Zionist entity” approaching “the final stages” of its existence, while calling for closer cooperation among Muslim countries, saying the Islamic world possesses the capabilities needed to shape “the future order of the region and the world.”

🇮🇷 NEW: Every major underground missile base in Iran is now back in operation, either fully or partially

About 80% of all tunnel entrances that were collapsed during the war have been restored as of this moment.

Some minor clearing still needs to happen in heavy hit places like Tabriz, Khorammabad and Kermanshah.

❗️Shin Bet chief met exiled Fatah leader Mohammad Dahlan during UAE wartime visit

Israel’s public broadcaster KAN reported on Tuesday that Shin Bet chief David Zini met former Fatah official Mohammed Dahlan during a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) amid the ongoing regional war.

Dahlan has lived in exile in Abu Dhabi since 2011 after Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas accused him of involvement in the killing of Yasser Arafat.

When asked for comment, the Shin Bet said only: “We do not comment on the chief’s schedule.”

The report comes after the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) revealed earlier this month that Mossad chief David Barnea visited the UAE at least twice during “Operation Lion's Roar” to coordinate security matters related to the war.

KAN had also previously reported that Zini visited the UAE as part of broader Israeli-UAE security coordination during the war.

The Jerusalem Post noted that Dahlan was considered in 2024 by US, Israeli, and Arab officials as a possible figure to lead post-war Gaza following Israel’s war on the enclave.

The report added that Gaza’s current technocratic administrative committee is instead headed by former Palestinian Authority official (PA) Ali Shaath, who previously served in multiple senior planning, transportation, reconstruction, and economic development roles within the PA.

❗️War in West Asia reshapes Asian energy alliances as Aramco exits Malaysia’s PRefChem venture

Saudi state oil giant Aramco will hand over its equity stakes in the PRefChem refining and petrochemical joint ventures in Malaysia to partner Petronas, the two companies announced on Monday, bringing an end to their eight-year downstream collaboration in Southeast Asia.

The agreement, which remains subject to closing conditions, will make PRefChem a fully owned subsidiary of the Malaysian state energy company, according to a joint statement from both firms.

Complete ownership will allow Petronas to diversify its crude sourcing beyond the Gulf and channel production toward rising regional fuel demand, while Aramco has had to reduce output because of the war.

According to OPEC secondary sources to Reuters, Saudi production dropped by about one-third in April compared with pre-war levels. Aramco had previously supplied between 50% and 70% of PRefChem’s crude feedstock.

❗️Ireland plans law to restrict trade with Israeli settlements by mid-July

Ireland plans to enact legislation by mid-July that would restrict trade in goods originating from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, Foreign Minister Helen McEntee said on Tuesday.

Ireland initially pledged in October 2024 to impose sanctions on Israeli settlements. However, the proposal has since faced political delays, with opposition parties pushing to expand it to include services, while international business lobby groups have sought to block the measure entirely.

Officials had previously indicated the bill would focus only on goods, and Prime Minister Micheal Martin confirmed last week that expanding it to services would be neither "implementable" nor "viable."

According to Ireland’s Central Statistics Office, limiting the measure to goods would affect only a small number of imports from Israeli-occupied territories, mainly agricultural products such as fruit, valued at about €200,000 ($234,660) annually.

🇮🇷🇺🇸| According to Iran’s national TV (IRIB):

Iran’s demands are:
• A permanent ceasefire
• US withdrawal from the region
• No interference in Iran
• Full sanctions relief
• Release of blocked funds
• +$300B in reconstruction compensation
• Control/management of maritime traffic.

In return, Iran would also take reciprocal steps.

Very nice but anyone who thinks America will agree to even one of these conditions is completely delusional.

And even if they do agree they’ll never keep their promise. It’s the United States, their word is meaningless.

It’s literally better to just keep getting bombed, at least we’ll know where we stand and not have false expectations.

— The maximum I see America agreeing to (best case scenario):

– Release half of Iran’s frozen funds, about $12 Billion USD.

Which is not really a concession because the money already belongs to Iran.

– Limited drawdown of American forces in the Middle East.

Which is also not really a concession, because the U.S. carrier groups and refuelers would eventually have to leave anyway due to high costs.

– Accepting Iranian ‘influence’ over the Strait of Hormuz, like maybe being able to determine the flow of traffic and charging some bullshit environmental tax that won’t be anywhere near as beneficial as tolls.

And that’s about it. Literally that’s all.

Anything else they’re offering will come AFTER Iran either gives up its enriched uranium stockpile (which would be a disaster) and even then I doubt they’ll abide by their promise, like giving Iran the other half of frozen funds or providing any sort of sanctions relief.

The reality is that America will never allow Iran to prosper, unless it makes peace with Israel, which is absolutely out of the question. So there will be zero sanctions relief no matter what Iran does. Even if the U.S. promises sanctions relief, they’ll find ways not to.

That’s why I say a deal is illogical and not beneficial, and experience has shown this, and the martyr Khamenei has said this 10000x times.
