Americans 'Would Be Up All Night' If They Knew Alien Truth: Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett Says

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) said the American people would be “up at night worrying” if they knew what he’s been briefed on about extraterrestrial life.

“I’ve been briefed by just about every alphabet agency there is. And, I’ll just say this, if they were to release the things that I’ve seen, you’d be up at night, worrying about, thinking about this stuff,” Burchett told Newsmax host Rob Finnerty on Wednesday.

Burchett — a member of the House Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets — recalled that he was briefed two weeks ago “on an issue” about extraterrestrial life that “would have set the Earth” on fire and “unglued” the country if released.

“They would demand answers,” Burchett said without going into further detail.

When Finnerty played a clip of former Rep. Matt Gaetz alleging knowledge of alien-human hybrid breeding programs, Burchett stopped short of directly addressing the explosive claims.

“I’m still a member of Congress, so I can’t really comment too much on what Matt said,” Burchett told Finnerty.

“Wait, seriously?” Finnerty slightly pushed back.

“I’m being 100% serious,” Burchett replied.

President Donald Trump Admitted On Sunday That The United States Attempted To Send Weapons To Anti-Government Protesters In Iran Earlier This Year, Speaking In A Phone Interview With Fox News’ Trey Yingst.

Trump claimed “a lot of guns” were sent “through the Kurds,” but said he believes the weapons never reached demonstrators, suggesting Kurdish intermediaries “kept them.”

He also asserted that “45,000” protesters were “slaughtered” during unrest in January 2026.

That figure is unsubstantiated and widely disputed. Iranian authorities have reported roughly 3,100 deaths, including about 300 police and security personnel.

Archbishop For US Military Says Iran War Is Unjust Under Catholic Teaching

The Catholic Archbishop for the US Military Services has said the US-Israeli war against Iran is unjust, according to Catholic teaching, as Catholic leaders in the US, Rome, and the Middle East continue to criticize the conflict.

Archbishop Timothy Broglio made the comments in an interview on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” that was recorded on Friday and aired on Sunday. He was asked if the conflict could be justified under the Catholic Church’s Just War Theory, which traces its roots to St. Augustine of Hippo, who died in the fifth century.

“I would think under the Just War Theory, it is not [just],” Broglio said. He added that there was a “threat with nuclear arms” but that the war was “compensating for a threat before the threat is actually realized,” though there was no evidence either before the June 2025 war or the current conflict that Iran was pursuing nuclear weapons.

Just War Theory is codified in the latest Catechism of the Catholic Church (1992), which calls on all Catholics to “work for the avoidance of war” and teaches that war is justified only in self-defense. It states that governments cannot be “denied the right of lawful self-defense, once all peace efforts have failed,” and outlines four strict conditions that must be met:

The Catechism adds that the “power of modern means of destruction weighs very heavily in evaluating this condition,” and since World War I, popes have decried the destructive power of modern weapons.

Unfortunately, Iranian state media rushed to conclusions by reporting unverified information from the landing site, where the wreckage of several Iranian cars was accidentally mixed among the destroyed planes.

This is why I always make sure to double check and confirm everything.
