Democratic lawmakers in the US have released two new batches of photographs from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, offering further insight into his private life and his connections to powerful political and business figures. The images were made public by members of the House Oversight Committee, who said nearly 100 photos were selected from a trove of more than 95,000 obtained through subpoena.
The photographs include appearances by US President Donald Trump, Britain’s Prince Andrew, former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, former president Bill Clinton, and Microsoft co founder Bill Gates. As the House Oversight Committee disclosures continue, the US Justice Department is approaching a separate deadline next week to publish additional Epstein related documents, a move expected to further illuminate the network that surrounded him for years.

President Trump denied on Monday that there was a rift between his White House and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over an Israeli airstrike that killed a Hamas commander in Gaza on Saturday, a clear violation of the US-backed ceasefire deal.
“No, Israel and I have gotten along very well. My relationship with Bibi Netanyahu has been obviously a very good one,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office when asked about reports that he “rebuked” Netanyahu over the attack.
According to Axios reporter Barak Ravid , a former IDF intelligence officer, the White House “scolded” Netanyahu over the strike and viewed it as a clear violation of the truce.
“The White House message to Netanyahu was: ‘If you want to ruin your reputation and show that you don’t abide by agreements be our guest, but we won’t allow you to ruin President Trump’s reputation after he brokered the deal in Gaza,” a US official told Ravid.
But President Trump offered no criticism of the Israeli attack. When asked whether it violated the ceasefire, he said, “We are looking into that.”
The Trump administration has remained silent as Israel has continued its attacks on Palestinians in Gaza, killing nearly 400 since the truce went into effect on October 10....

Saudi Arabia’s departure from the standard it was instrumental in creating could embolden other countries to follow suit. Likewise, as multiple countries bolster relations with Russia and China, and defy the US’s wishes and implicit or direct threats, this could embolden others to do the same in the future-dismantling US hegemony. We could be witnessing the fall of the US empire, and its reserve currency, coincided by the rise of an emerging power structure and world economic system in which BRICS nations rise as the new dominant power of the globe.
